Stopped in on a road trip to grab some dinner. I saw potato skins on their menu and ordered some to munch on while I decided between the various delicious looking options. HOLY COW. What I got was essentially 2 1/2 large size baked potatoes, halved, fried to a nice crispy finish and filled with cheese, bacon, and chives. I've included a pic of one of them next to my sunglasses to show the MASSIVE size of these monsters! Delicious too! As a potato skin connoisseur, I can tell you that good fresh made skins are very hard to find anymore, but these were awesome! I never made it to a main dish. A lot looked good, but I needed to bring friends and family to help take these down before I could even consider going further, A+. I'll be back. read more

In a small town like Nevada you don't have too many options, but this one is probably the best. The staff was personable and helped to guide you through the menu. Typical bar style Americana food options with the addition of a few pastas. We sat at the bar and got great service, with the small town pub type experience. Country music played for music and the beer was cold. What else could you really need! Their seasoned Susie q's were awesome and the rest of the food was pretty good too. We ordered a fried appetizer, that was so way over fried it was almost not eatable. And you could taste that they had not changed there fry oil for a long time. The mixed drinker tasted like strait grain alcohol. When we got our meals almost an hour later the sides were burnt and again the chicken fried steak was super over fried in old oil. Let's not go into the fact it cost almost $100 dollars for 2 people to eat terrible overpriced food. I ate a year ago and it was the same. We were "out of towners" "road weary" just looking for place to relax and eat. The hotel we were staying at, The Country Inn and Suites, Ashley, recommended this establishment. It didn't disappoint. This place was Awesome! Not much to see from the outside BUT considering the area and location it had a pleasantly surprising interior. The place was rockin' and busy on a Tuesday? They had all kinds of different food and drink specials too! But the best part was the staff and the service. Luxie Luxey ? was so sweet and like others there, working hard taking care of customers. Probably the friendliest places we've been in a long time! We had one of they're many salad choices and I had Taco Tuesday Special. All were delicious! The prices were quite reasonable. We truly enjoyed the food. My husband ordered wings as an appetizer and said the flavor was good. He ordered the Po Boy sandwich and said it had good flavor and he would order it again. I spent a night in Nevada and Sharky's was nearby. Since i was alone, i sat at the bar. The bartender was great. Got me a frosty cold beer immediately as well as a menu. Lots of choi c es that i wanted to try but decided on the tenderloin. Food came out really quickly and was great. I had more food than I could handle but really enjoyed the experience. So, my wife and I just finished dinner at this establishment. I ordered the Beef Tips and she had the French Dip Sandwich. We waited almost 10 minutes for a waitress to recognize we were even there. We were about to get up and leave. In hindsight i wish we had. Kiersten was our waitress. She took our order, soon brought our drinks. I was very thirsty and finished my first drink fairly fast. The food came out quickly, she put the food in front of us and disappeared faster than i could believe, again, my cup remains sitting there empty. My beef tips were good, very nice flavoring, were kind of cool like they had been sitting around awhile. My wife's French Dip Sandwich was fatty and full of gristle and not edible. She picked around at what food she could eat, we waited and waited, our waitress, Kiersten, never came back until the end when she brought our check. Now bear in mind my cup has been empty since about 5 minutes after she originally brought the drinks out. The total of our bill was $62. I expressed my displeasure with the service and the quality of the food. Expecting that she would relay the message to the manager and he/she would come out to talk to us, she did not. To say the experience was disappointing is an understatement. I'm not posting a review to bash the establishment but more so to make sure management knows of the failure to deliver a pleasant experience. For $62 I would expect a lot more than what we received in service/food quality. I give it a 2/5 stars because the beef tips were amazing on flavor. read more

I used to love Sharky's. It is the only sports bar & grill in the town I live in and I previously gave them a 5 star review. However, in he past few months it has continually declined. Rarely do we experience both good service and good food when visiting. We have continually came back, because of the lack of options in our town. Tonight we went in for taco night. Sharky's was about 75% full. The only table big enough for our party of 6 had not been bused from the prior diners. We waited about 10 minutes before the waitress got the table cleared off. We ordered drinks, and got those relatively quickly. The waitress was newer and she was definitely working hard. She took our order, which was all tacos and two orders of fries. Several times our glasses ran empty, but we were always understanding about that. Again the waitress was new. She was always good about getting drinks back to our table when we caught her and asked her. When we hadn't received our food after 50 minutes, we asked her to check on it. She came back and told us there were two tickets in front of ours. We watched three tables get their food, and all of them had arrived after us and their food orders were way more complicated. My daughter caught an employee that she knows well, and asked him to check. He came back to report that our order was on the grill. The only issue with that was that we didn't order anything from the grill. We watched two more tables of food come out, and my husband got up to go tell them if our food wasn't ready, to go ahead and cancel it. At this point we had been waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for our orders. The food runner told my husband that our food was coming out. My husband went back to our table and shortly after the food did start coming out. At this point my grandson was in full melt down and we had enough. The waitress came over to explain that she had entered our ticket for the wrong table. While I appreciate her honestly, it would have been great if she could have disclosed this earlier. Also, when a table's order gets messed up, at the moment the mistake is realized, it should be remade with priority! The kicker was that one of their long term employees came over to the table and tried to justify that "they were busy". That explains why the food was coming out slow, but it doesn't explain why other tables got their food way before us when we had ordered more than 30 minutes before those tables. Also, if you can't keep up with "taco night", then please end it. You manage your menu, so if something is not working, you reserve the right to change it. Additionally, you should always have a manager on duty, and tonight the Sharky's staff said there was none. I am writing this review with hopes to get Sharky's owners attention. Our community needs you. I miss the consistency that you once served to your customers, but I am no longer willing to gamble my money nor my evenings hoping we get lucky. read more

I stopped here while on the road, because I didn't want fast food. Located in a strip mall near Walmart, this is a shark themed Tex Mex bar and restaurant. Sound random? Yes, yes it was random. Random is the center theme of this review. The decor was taking a half-hearted stab at Polynesian. The menu was huge and all over the place, but there was a certain Tex Mex theme throughout. The bar was dark during the middle of the day and every one of the dozen or so TVs was on football (naturally). The drink menu was filled with girly concoctions. BF got mini tacos and burritos. They appeared to be straight out of the freezer case at Sam's. He said they were fine. My spinach artichoke quesadilla was good, if nothing special. The server was friendly. Two apps and two drinks came to $30. I wouldn't stop again, but I guess if you live here this wouldn't be a bad place to catch a game. read more

My most recent visit to this joke of an establishment was per usual as I have unfortunately been here about 8 times. On our most recent visit our drinks were never refilled and servers spend more time out of sight than they ever do at the tables. On my previous visit I actually came in and waited 30 minutes to never even get a menu or a water. I ended up walking out. My last visit was only because I had to go for family and we waited 45 minutes for fried pickles and they were delivered to the table next to us and the customers at that table had to bring it to us along with silverware that the servers never brought. 10 minutes later our chips and salsa arrived. I had to stand and wave at the server in order to get refills on drinks. 5 out of our 7 dishes came another 30 minutes later and were 30 minutes into waiting on the check now. Just ate at Sharky's. The wood floors were so greasy we were afraid we would fall. I had turkey bacon grilled cheese with curly Q's. It was quite good. My husband had tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was very overcooked and the fries were completely undercooked. As I used the restroom I could see 2 cooks and bartender outside smoking. It's no wonder mediocre food. read more

I felt like the servers didn't want us there, I got some seafood pasta and it was very mediocre. The last time I went I got a hamburger that had buffalo sauce and horseradish that was one of the worst tasting spicy foods I've ever had. My girlfriend had a Flatbread buffalo chicken Pizza that was cold when she got it, my fries were like cardboard and cold. The server did have them make everything again, however, I thought their buffalo sauce was terrible. Our drinks were not refilled and the only reason I feel they should get a star, is at least the server gave us a discount, however we had to ask for that after the server said she'd give it to us. A nice new addition to the VERY small number of places to eat in Nevada. The service was extremely slow. It took forever for the waitress to get a beer from the bar to our table. I think it is a ordering process thing though. Enter in the computer and then wait for the beers to get set on the bar. By then they have to take orders from other tables and get the food out. And if there is a big table ahead of you...be prepared to wait. The food seems to come out in the order it was placed and not by what is ready first - even your apps. They do fix mistakes with a smile though. The food is really pretty good for a pub. My pulled pork BBQ sliders were terrific! The fried pickles are some of the best I have ever had. The menu is extensive for a small place like this.Terrific salads and you can get a small or large. That was a nice surprise. They need to get some Ott's dressing as an option. It is like water in Nevada for salad eaters.The burgers were terrific! The mac and cheese with bacon and jalapenos was creamy cheesy goodness. They have daily specials on menu items. Save on some burgers and get some pot roast! They are proud of their beers. Sure they have a nice selection of the basic and local micro brews from around the area. Love me some Boulevard Wheat. Honestly, they may be overpricing themselves on the beer though. $5 for most drafts is WAY too high for the area. I hope they survive. It's tough in Nevada to offer good food, good service and keep prices at $8-$12 per entree. Good luck. See you again when I am home next. Arrived with a table of 13 and 4 children. Took 20-30 minutes to get drinks after ordering. Waitress took orders but forgot 2 people and took about 5 minutes to come back and finish the order. When food started arriving, it took about 15-20 minutes for before everyone got their food. My wife's food was cold and one order of chicken tenders arrived with fries and then the tenders were brought out about 5 minutes later. My plate was the last one to be brought out and the steak and potato were cold. Then since we had a big table they charged everyone a 18 percent tip on the bill and the service and was not worth that. Would not recommend. read more

We were there on a Sunday around 2:30 p.m. along with another pair of customers. We sat at the bar because we usually find the bartenders are really friendly and like to interact with the customers. NOT THIS BARTENDER/SERVER. She seemed a bit annoyed that we were there and inconvenienced by our questions and that of another. She was busy with another employee discussing her new phone. We are great tippers, eager to have a good experience and support local businesses across the country. But in this case, and from what we observed with the other pair of customers, felt she didn't deserve much of a tip, which in turn hurts the establishment. They have a large menu with great choices, food was average, however in previous visits, we thought the food was much better. Can honestly say, we likely will not return to Sharky's. We went here on Sunday 2/27/22 there was 7 of us and was the first time going there and probably the last.... It took forever to get our food but after waiting so long they came to the table and told us the food was finally getting ready to come out but they told my friend that they was out of catfish and would he like something else, REALLY, after waiting almost a hour for the food to come out then they are going to say that they were out of catfish so instead of ordering something else he didn't want to wait for another hour to get his food so he didn't eat anything except part of the a appetizers that was ordered that took forever to get to the table.... My girlfriend ordered the french dip sandwich with fries, her sandwich was over cooked and dry and the fries was almost black and still raw inside not sure how they managed that..... I ordered the blackened salmon with grilled vegetables it had good flavor but a little over cooked and dry and it was extremely a small piece of salmon and definitely wasn't worth the money that they charged for it.... Based on other reviews I was a little nervous, but this place was great! Service is a bit gruff, but prompt and attentive. I went for lunch and got a beer and their $5 lunch special that had a salad and a huge turkey melt. Both were really good and a great deal for the price. Total before tip was under $10. The inside is dark and exactly what I was looking for in a quiet lunch to do some paperwork. The bar is good sized and there are tons of tvs. I believe I'll return! read more

My family and I regularly frequent this restaurant. My youngest daughter has gymnastics nearby on Sunday afternoon. I took my oldest daughter for dinner during practice and sat at the bar because we were basically the only people there and I didn't see any wait staff. 4 or 5 20-30 yr old men came in when we had already paid and started loudly swearing and threatening physical violence. I asked them politely to calm down for a few minutes until we got our things together to leave. They began heckling me for having my daughter at the bar and for having a half glass of wine. Then began asking if they could chug my wine any buy me a drink in front of her. The bartender did nothing. We usually come here twice a week with our 3 children but never again. We own a small local business and try to support others. We understood this to be a family friendly bar and grill, not some dive where you can expect fist fights and an environment where your children are exposed to violence and vulgarity. read more
