My aunt and I are big on supporting Blacked Owned Businesses. Today was our first time visiting this establishment. When we arrived, the lady at the door escorted us to the elevator. I was feeling the graffiti inspired art. When we arrived to main floor, the staff greeted us . We were the first customers. I admit, the ambiance was nice. Out waitress Lyric was really nice and attentive. We all ordered the Creole Fried Catfish. They have a nice menu selection. I admit the food was good. Fish fried to perfection, the creole sauce was at first a little off putting but the more I tasted, the flavor was even more delicious. The rice was everything! Although, this establishment did faced a rocky opening with all the views and the unfair controversy in its beginning stages of being a new restaurant , they definitely did not disappoint. I admit. Lastly, ladies, imagine trying to undo your clothing, squat down to use the restroom, wipe yourself and wash your hands while holding your purse. I tried to nicely let the manager know that he should get a hook put into the one restroom, to hold ladies' purses while they use the restroom. He acted like I was saying something wrong to him or hating on him. Any woman would agree that it's hard to use the restroom with your purse in your possession. Any BUSINESS with a public restroom should have a hook for this reason. He didn't give a heck about what I was saying. Now that beautiful establishment is about to give an inconvenience and irritation to most women that enters that restroom. And it's not even worth it.

If I was originally supposed to be charged $4.99 why am I now being charged $10 when my food was made incorrectly not once but twice? When I asked Priscilla about the pricing she very rudely stated that my steak was not made incorrectly the second time it just was not made to my liking. As a person who ONLY orders steak at restaurants I am well aware of what a medium rare steak should look like. She was very condescending and the whole experience made me not want to patronize this establishment again. She told me their internet was down, so she could only accept cash in the exact amount. Meanwhile, I could see multiple order receipts spread out on the counter next to cash in various denominations. I asked if I could go to an ATM to get cash, which would mean getting multiples of $20 bills, could she give me change from the money she already had on the counter. She told me no, claiming that would "throw everything off." We went back and forth on that logic before it finally clicked why the manager would instruct them to do it this way. To avoid further confusion, I just agreed to go get the exact cash. As I was leaving, she made some condescending remarks. My first instinct was to just walk away and not come back, but I chose to ignore it. When I returned with the exact cash, a different young lady came to the window and said, "We are closed." I explained to her that the previous cashier had just told me to go get exact cash and that my pizza was already done. This young lady replied, "Well, how am I supposed to know which pizza it is if the system is down?" I asked her, "Maybe the same way the other young lady was able to figure it out?" She just said I can't help you and walked away from the window. An Uber Eats driver and I just looked at each other and shook our heads. As I walked out with the intention of never patronizing this location again, I saw two other Uber Eats drivers being handed pizzas through the side door. Unbelievable!
