How great was it when I found Fix-A-Fence to know that I was getting exactly what I needed--not just a "handyman" company but a company that knows how to do a wooden fence (or other types I'm sure) right! I called, sent a few photos, and had an estimate in hand the next day. The price was great so I agreed and was added to the schedule. Unfortunately for me we had many days of rain which pushed back my original date a bit but John was good about keeping me updated on a final date. Once we had a new date locked in he had a cancellation come up so I actually got booked sooner than planned (again, great for me!). The arrive on time (a little early even) and had the new gate hung, repairs completed on multiple sections, and a good once-over on the whole fence for some minor repair. Total time from setup to driving away was only a few hours and the work looks great! Also, I really appreciate the advice he gave me on a few "repairs" I had planned for them that he said could be taken care of in a less costly way (i.e. something I could easily do on my own since it was cosmetic work). Great to see someone willing to give me the best work at a very fair price. The installers were friendly, professional, and moved quickly. The finished job was perfectly straight and looked gorgeous. So many compliments from the neighbors. After a year, a few of the boards showed some unusual weathering and turned a dark gray/black color, in contrast to the other boards. R&T came right out and insisted on replacing them at no charge. Again, the crew was friendly and did a great job. Another reason we enjoyed working with them was they made it easy. They helped with permits and the land survey, too. We recommend them to all our friends and neighbors. Try them - you'll be glad you did!
