    Juicy Nookie Burger

Cute spot in downtown St. Paul with great burgers! I got the juicy nooky, of course. Great service! Had multiple people checking in anytime was low. There was live music while we were there adding to the ambiance!

TOP BURGER IN THE CITY! Shamrock's is my favorite dive bar by FAR! My favorites are the Triple B burger, Juicy Nookie, Reuben, and the Honey Glazed Bacon Cheese curds! Plan your visit around live music, trivia night, great daily deals/specials, or Grand Casino Arena events for a free shuttle. Top notch servers, bartenders, and hosts to make your visit fun! Sham's will always be my go-to in St. Paul!

The sister restaurant of The Nook. This place just has really good neighborhood vibes right when you walk in. I was with some out of towners that wanted to try the juicy Lucy. They had a pretty decent selection of beer although our waiter was not that well versed on the options and didn't have any recommendations or seem to know about local breweries to recommend. The hazy i had was fine, although being from San Diego we're pretty spoiled with good hazy beer. I decided to go with a turkey burger (bunless) since I don't love burgers. It was well cooked and a good size. The fries were nice and crispy. We also ordered cheese curds and the leprechaun fingers which are just fried green beans. Cheese curds were perfectly soft and chewy. Green beans had a nice crisp bite to them.

Great burger! My husband said this was the best burger he has had in a long time. Fries were hot and crispy. Grabbed a to go order, everything was correct. Service was quick. The inside was very busy as there was a hockey game on. They had a sign advertising a free shuttle to and from the Wild games which would be great for a night out with some yummy food!

Second time coming to Minnesota and was brought here to try a Juicy Lucy burger. Had initially tried one at Matt's Bar my first visit. Upon entering this place was pretty crowded. So it looks like a popular place to go to. We got seated at some high top tables near a back entrance. It was windy and chilly that day so anytime the door opened we get a gust of wind to us. We didn't bother complaining since there wasn't anyplace to really put us a group of 9. The burgers were just burgers... Nothing spectacular. It's literally cheese in the middle of two patties that didn't seem seasoned. The fries were decent. The place is loud could barely hear my sister across the table from me. Definitely not a place for a first date. They do have other things on the menu that sound good. Would be willing to come back and try other things.

This is the sisters location for the nook with the same menu but just bigger location so seating was better. I'm not sure if there was a special going on but my kids ate free! (Normally it's $8 for kids menu). Food came out fairly quick and portion was great. A bit on the pricier side but it was good. Definitely recommend! The service was good too!

Visited a little after 5:30pm. Parking is available in the lot which is a little small, but plenty of street parking around the area. Gentleman at the hostess stand was friendly and seated us right away in a booth (our request). It look a little while for our waitress to greet us and grab our drink order due to it being a little busy for the dinner rush. We started with an order of cheese curds on the happy hour menu ($5- can't beat that). For dinner i had the juicy nookie with regular fries and extra pickles. It took awhile for our food to come out like 40 minutes. Although, it's been sometime since I've been here, it didn't taste as good as I once remembered. Burger wasn't very juicy or cheesy. Fries were not fresh either. I was disappointed. Shamrocks is a sports bar that can be loud at times, but a decent spot for a burger. I wouldn't run here for a meal, but the menu offers lots of different options.

The quality of the food was on par. The place was loud but perfect for what it is, a bar and grill. Also perfect for my own, loud children so it wasn't completely obvious that their adhd was at its peak for dinner. We had two different waiters so there was a slight disconnect when our order arrived but nothing big and nothing the second waiter couldn't fix. Dill pickle cheese curds, delicious. Didn't realize they would have deep fried pickles in there too so that was a treat but a bad surprise for my husband who claims to be allergic to cucumber - more for me I guess. The burgers were rich and exactly what you'd want in a burger. Would love a hit of acid but it's a burger, it's good as it is.

Juicy Lucy's and beer?? What could be better?? Went here after work and had great service and even better food. I had the guys big bite and it sure was big, enough food for my lunch and dinner... lol We got some flaming hot cheese curds and they were really good, not too hot and a lot of flavor. Would definitely come here again, plenty of drinks on the menu and a very fun atmosphere.

I want to start by saying that I am gluten-free, and that greatly limits what I am able to experience here. I could imagine I would have a much better experience if I could have a juicy Lucy with a GF bun! I came on a Sunday with a large party and we were able to reserve a table ahead of time. It was surprising quiet, but definitely has a pub vibe and was incredibly loud the last time I was there. My spouse had the hot cheese curds and was a bit disappointed by them since they weren't spicy. We had some of the grilled wings skewers with dry rub which were okay, and also some jalapeño poppers which met expectations. Decent place for groups, and would get a higher rating from me if it were more gluten-free friendly!

Today, I ordered the Turkey club and the Sandwich of the Week, the La Tur, which had a cow, goat and sheep milk cheese with blueberry honey jam, greens and bacon. It was good, but don't get this sandwich unless you like cheeses that REALLY have that sheep flavor! Despite having so much cheese, it wasn't a super heavy meal. More of a take out place. There's a couple tables outside to eat but it was also really windy and hot the day I went so I ate pretty quickly.
