Food was pretty bad. Way overpriced for the quality. We got the chicken nachos and the fish and chips plate. It was all basically microwaved food for 12$ a plate. Service was average not great. Awful service, the blond waitress forgot to put in the order for the wings (Monday late afternoon) We only order 3 things so shouldn't be hard to remember. Our drinks were awfully mixed. When we asked for the wings and she realized she forgot to place the order she rolled her eyes and walked away. 40min later she brings the wings, slams the plate and walks away. We had 3 people at the table she didn't bother to bring us small plates so we had to eat on napkins cause she simply disappeared. The 40 something year old short thick waitress with a blond ponytail was abrupt, rude, condescending, impatient, and frankly lacked any kind of customer service. As much as I want to give her the benefit of the doubt it was so obvious that she did not want us there. We had ordered green beer but they brought us non green beer. We reminded her that we had ordered green beer, she rolled her eyes and then 15 min later She ran up to the table in a hurry, very bothered, splattered the green dye in our drinks on the table and on my hand. She brought us cold food. Then they forgot our French fries and when we followed up with her, she slammed her hand on the table and said "I do not bring the fries, I have nothing to do with that!" After that we got up paid and left. She pretty much forced us to leave Never again will I go back or recommend this place to anyone. The service was so bad it's actually comical, something you would probably see in a comedy movie. Seems like a great Irish pub I'm sorry I had a one star experience here but I had the worst server of my entire life here. Heather C. I ordered a beer and she gave me the food menu. Came back and let her know I wasn't hungry because I had already ate. She then got overly frustrated with me and said there's signs on the doors that said I had to buy food, but it's outdoor self seating and quarantine season so I never went inside or looked at the doors. It seems a little silly, she then told me she had to cash me out since I wasn't going to buy food. I wanted to stay longer and at least enjoy my beer but she kept rushing me out. If you do have a policy like that it is the responsibility of the server to let the customer know in the beginning. read more

Stopped in this pub for a meal and a beer. I ordered the Bratwurst sampler with sauerkraut and brown mustard. Sounds impressive and to my mind implied a couple different Brats cut on the bias that I would enthusiastically dig into. Came for lunch on a Sunday, the bar had a few people, but no one else in the dining area. The Guinness was great and served properly. Was a little dark for lunch time, seemed like more of a dive bar than restaurant. Husband got the half salad and sandwich and loved it. The service here is terrible. Wait, maybe I shouldn't say that because we hardly got any service. Came here, seated ourself, about 10 min later the waitress acknowledges us. We ordered water to start-took about 15 min for water. She brought it over and I had to ask her for a menu. Obviously we didn't come here just for water right? She gave us the menu & she never came back to get our order. We were there a good 30-45 min. As we walked out (obviously because of shitty service) I saw that she was also bartending-kind of explains their horrible service. My 13 year old son wanted Irish food this evening so we yelped and found this place. We arrived and the first thing my son asked was when did Ireland have mesquite grills? ( the sign read Mesquite grill and Irish pub. We entered and it took 5 minutes for someone to notice us from the bar, we chose a booth as the were only 3 other people in the dining area. It took a bit but found the only Irish fare on the back page of the menu. I ordered the Irish Stew and Mikie ordered the fish and chips. after a while the waitress came back and informed me that they did not have any Irish Stew so I ordered the Shepard's pie. when the food came, the Shepard's pie was covered with mashed potato with a sprinkling of cheese that was barely melted, the filling was a greasy mixture of beef frozen peas and carrots, corn and mushrooms, I choked on a bay leaf stem. the pie's only flavor came from the garlic that took over the mashed potatoes and large pockets of salt on the meat mixture. Mikie's fish and chips weren't much better, the steak cut fires were under cooked and the fish were over fried to a burned crisp and oiled soaked, he only ate 1/3 before he called it quits. When it comes to Irish cooking the Shamrock is a sham. The only redeeming quality of the place in Mikie's opinion was the mini kilt the waitress wore. read more

This is going to be a fun review to write because I have a lot to say, but I'm going to TRY to stick to the facts...in fact, let's start with this fact, I went here for the first time at 6:00 ON St. Patrick's Day...and if St. Patrick's day isn't the perfect day to get a full sense of a place called Shamrocks, then I don't know what is. I called ahead of time to see what the current wait was and the girl said in a kind of "I don't know how to put this for you voice"..."Well....yeah, we're pretty busy right now, but there's standing room so we can serve you still." Okay, there have been many times that I have mastered the art of drinking while standing, good enough for us. We got there and she may have shielded the whole "busy" thing just a bit, the place was RIDICULOUS!...like the Fire Marshall should have shut it down ridiculous. I'll skip some of the gory details here because I want to make sure I write about the police arrest later, but let me say this...if loving HUGE plastic cups full of LIME GREEN beer is wrong, I don't want to be right. They had tons of green food coloring and they weren't being light handed with it as they doused every beer on tap with it if that's what you wanted...and boy did we want it. It was clear there was going to be absolutely no chance of us sitting inside. In fact when we put our name down we were quoted at 2 hrs. But she said there were tables outside...it was raining and cold...but we were intending to get our drink on, so we figured we'd warm up soon. The thing was, we couldn't GET to the section of empty outside tables because this idiot meat head was so effing drunk by 6:00 at night that he was calling the security guards words I am to lady-like to repeat on a yelp review...but that led to them calling the cops...which led to him being taken away in cuffs...which led to my favorite part of the night...1 guy trying (albeit a big guy) trying to break away from the cops once he was cuffed...which led to, you may have guessed it..the sucker got TASED!!!!!..and this was all within the first 20 mins. of being here. Anyways, eventually he went to the drunk tank I'm sure, we sat down and continued our green beer frenzy. We got hungry, but could not for the life of us get a waitress to wait on us outside..I mean it was cold and wet, and they were in lingerie, but still...it was kinda crappy. We had to keep going inside to order and most of the time they told us to come back 15 mins. later and pick up our own food. Eh. Typical bar food, most of which they had run out of by 9pm. Small servings that were a bit overpriced, although I will say their Shepard's Pie was bomb-dot-com. Whilst we were drinking, eating, and being merry a lovely professional bag pipe player popped by to do a jig and ask for a tip in his jar while handing out his business cards. People were dressed crazy, acting crazy, dancing crazy (there was a DJ) and just all out being crazy which I attribute to the large amounts of beer and small amount of oxygen circulating. By 8pm there was a long line out the door and we were pleased as punch that we had arrived so early. We stayed about 4 hours until we were not only drinking green, but seeing green as well, then called a cab and went back home only to watch a marathon of Leprachuan on the Sci-Fi channel until 2am. All-in-all an exciting experience that I would quite possibly duplicate again. Oh, and for those of you wondering what ever happened to our 2 hr wait in order to sit inside? Well, after about 1.5 hrs outside we went inside to check on our waiting list and we were RE-quoted at another 3+ hours because "people just weren't leaving"...sucks to be the people outside waiting in line in the rain. read more

Just left this place and won't return. At youth sport event and and decided to give it a try. Waited more than five minutes at the "hostess-less" hostess station to be acknowledge. I used to go to this bar and thought it was nice and enjoyed myself. I've never had an argument or problem with any employee or patron. Never asked to leave or anything at all. Just ordered my drinks and paid my tab. My friends wanted to go there last night but told me I couldn't get in. They told me why and I laughed. They have been turning people away like me for months they said. So I called and asked. They were right, I not allowed in because I have tattoos on my neck. Not because of something I did but because they way I look. Apparently people in America who have tattoos on their necks are second class citizens. So my money isn't as good as others. Tonight my friends and I went for st. pattys day. I knew it would be crowded. But never imagined it to be this crowded. The night started out with half our table having to stand because of no chairs. That should have been a clue. Not all the tables outside had four chairs even tho the tables were square. We had to ask where our waitress was several times. I asked for a glass of water three separate times. Never received the water the whole night. I had to walk to the bar to get a menu after being there for nearly an hour. I should have not even eaten the food. My stomach ended up hurting all night. Out of the five people at our table I was at least to get the right beer. Noone wanted green beer at our table but were still given green beer. We had to ask for limes several times. One of the women had asked for a burger. It took an hour to get it. Not only that there were no condiments or lettuce or tomatoes on said burger. She said it was the worst burger she had ever eaten. But after an hour wait she ate it anyway. Trying to leave we had to close out the tab at the bar because for some reason our waitress wasn't allowed to? We had to hunt her down for a half hour to even find out that info. The womens restroom literally was out of toilet paper twice. Which I ended up using toilet seat cover to wipe. Not fun....the girly bits didn't appreciate it. While I was walking in the bar from the patio I heard a man getting into it with who I assume was the bar manager about his bill. He was overcharged by three beers. Instead of the bar eating the cost. The manager argued with the customer in front of other customers. Not a good way to run a business. I will never step foot in here ever again. The lack of service and absolute horrible treatment will have me going to other establishments. read more
