I was out of town on my way to Florida when the incident occurred on November 19, 2024, which was the first morning of my trip. My sister was called and quickly rushed Laker to Kryder Vet in Granger, IN. The vet decided not to traumatize him that day, so the following day, they had to put him under anesthesia to clean his wounds. I changed my flights and returned home immediately. Laker is not just a pet; he is part of the family and an AKC show dog who has won many awards. Will Short, the owner of Bunk and Biscuit, stated that the medical bills would be covered by the owner of the Pit Bull. Laker has had to visit a groomer multiple times to remove mats, and he has been seeing Dr. Block weekly, as recommended by Kryder, to help him recover from the trauma. This was the first time something like this had ever happened to him. It took four staff members to get the Pit Bull off Laker. Bunk and Biscuit has live cameras throughout the facility, allowing owners to watch their dogs. When I requested the footage the next day, I was informed it was no longer available. Will then began contacting my vet to alter the details of what actually occurred and downplayed the incident. I had to instruct my vet not to communicate with him further. Since Laker was a puppy, he has been coming to Bunk twice a week, sometimes more, totaling thousands of dollars over the course of just over a year. Multiple staff members have confided in me about what happened and that Will is attempting to cover it up. However, he is now refusing to pay the vet bills, the groomer's fees, and the expenses incurred with Dr. Block. Will has become very confrontational. Laker also picked up Kennel Cough from there and Will never covered those costs and refused to tell other clients about it.

They were so wonderful and allowed us to watch as Lola had her first grooming experience in their mobile grooming room. The husband/wife pair was friendly and knowledgeable regarding what services Lola would need and didn't try to sell us anything that she didn't need (but made helpful suggestions which we took). They were great with Lola and kept her very calm throughout the experience. Their fee was well worth the service we received and we will be using them again!

My dog, however l, looked nothing like what I requested. Like one of the other reviews, she was shaved so closed to her skin in her neck. It was red. I brushed her the night before the groom and she was not matted. Her fur was also unevenly cut. I reached out. No apologies. Scott stopped replying, and amends were not offered.

And they're relaying this information as his nail is badly bleeding from them clipping it too low. We have never received any feedback or concerns with Bear until today when we were told they're done grooming him. He is a Great Pyrenees, which is a very large dog. His back aligns with my hip when standing next to me. What changed over all these months? No warnings, no feedback...just attempts at fat shaming. Guess what Gordon's..you guys aren't a vet. You guys are rude, unprofessional, and just downright wrong.

They were very communicative and when I showed up, the staff was awesome in person as well. I added on a bath cause everyone was kind and I felt I could trust leaving my pup with them. These were not received for the first two days until I called to enquirer - somehow I opted out of text messages but paid for this upgrade????? Once I finally got the pictures, one showed my dog with large amounts of drool and fluid/foam coming out of her mouth - which has never happened before. Called asap the next morning to be assured everything was OK...... Finally picked them up only to have the one dog have severe dehydration and diarrhea of which required an emergency vet visit on a Sunday morning (less then 24 hours from bringing them home). $400 later with fluids and meds the dog is getting back to normal. Additionally I paid for baths for the dog, which were never done however still charged... Their initial response to this was a "future credit for a bath". They also claim to have a $500 pet care promise of which I am still unclear what this covers as they had no intention to cover my pets emergency vet visit. They did end up refunding the bath they never performed, however I would give this place NO recommendation and will never be back again.
