When I explained that I was using an HSA debit card, not a credit card, I was told it did not matter because it was still a card. The owner later described the higher amount as the standard price and the lower amount as a cash discount. However, their front-desk sign states that if you pay by card, there is a 3% non-cash adjustment. For me, this is an issue of transparency. If HSA/FSA cards are specifically advertised as accepted payment methods, the pricing difference should be clearly disclosed so customers know before checkout.

The communication was great! Monty is very kind and very respectful. I've been having a shoulder pain for 2 months and he helped me relieve that pain through the press points. You can tell he loves what he does and is very passionate about it. He is also a father of two young daughters so that made me feel more comfortable being a young woman. They offer a good foot massage, warm foot soak, hot rocks, everything you could ask for. My issues started whenever they were working on my upper body They utilize a lot of general deep tissue techniques but it is evident that there is not a lot of knowledge of the body and particular muscles that need attention. I'm a thinner build, so many of the techniques they use were especially rough. The movements were very fast, did not feel intentional, and it felt more like my body was being moved around by there hands than any deep work on my muscles. I can already tell I'll probably be sore in the morning. Take that as you will. I would much rather pay more money for a more professional massage. I think having a softer massage that is more intentional in working out the muscles would be worth much more than having thumbs and elbows driven into my neck and back... but that's just me. *Updated* This is the morning after my experience.
