He's helped me figure out that the gym was aggravating my issues and pointed me towards reformer style pilates to help with my bad habits and to cope with my quasi-desk job (I do a lot of heavy lifting/walking around too!). Anyhow, their prices are affordable compared to say, one of those franchise type places-- and they're flexible with you on how much time/money you want to spend too. The owner, Rebecca, is a sweet person. -My only area I'd like them to improve is more sound deadening for the rooms. You can hear people talking, and walking in and out of the building which can be jarring when you're trying to relax your muscles. :P

I'm so thankful for the therapy I receive at Massage District. It really is the best medical massage in the metroplex.

I have also never had a masseuse make me feel as pampered as Deanie does! Every visit begins with her washing my feet as we chat about what's going on with my body and what areas she should focus on that day. After my massage is finished, Deanie always encourages me to lie on the table as long as I'd like to soak in the sense of peace and relaxation. Finally, she provides water and a healthy snack as she takes a moment to talk to me about how the service went. When I leave her office, my mind and body feel completely rejuvenated! Today I finally bit the bullet and gave Jin's massage a call. Luckily they had an opening to fit me in today. When I got there, Jen had a quick paper for me to fill out regarding massage and overall medical history/issues. She took me right back and the hour flew by before I knew it. I immediately felt a difference in my back and shoulders from the tense knot they came in as to the much improved unknotted forms. She did warn me that I would probably be sore for about 48 hrs after and I am starting to feel the effects of that a bit. But it definitely wouldn't stop me from returning!

We often don't take care of ourselves like we should, and this is a great way to do that. Their website list their services and prices upfront. It also list the names of each staff member and their specialization. You can make an appointment on their website. There are also other locations available. This is a small space but plenty of parking for the area. When you arrive you are greeted with aroma scents and friendly staff. Your masseuse will ask if there are any areas to be worked on. They listen to your needs and ensure the pressure is to your liking. Overall great experience. There are also couple massages.

As a nurse, I care about people being able to use the HSA and FSA benefits they work for toward…read morehealthcare expenses. I cannot recommend Soma based on how they handle these payments. Their website specifically states that some clients can pay with HSA cards or Flex accounts. What it does not clearly disclose on that page is that using one of those debit cards results in a higher non-cash price. At checkout, I questioned why my total was higher than the $150 price I expected. I was told the difference was a 3% card fee. When I explained that I was using an HSA debit card, not a credit card, I was told it did not matter because it was still a card. The owner later described the higher amount as the standard price and the lower amount as a cash discount. However, their front-desk sign states that if you pay by card, there is a 3% non-cash adjustment. For me, this is an issue of transparency. If HSA/FSA cards are specifically advertised as accepted payment methods, the pricing difference should be clearly disclosed so customers know before checkout.

I saw Serene Spa had amazing reviews, so that's why I decided to go there. My greatest hope was that my masseur had very strong hands, and that he would really focus on the gigantic knots I had in my shoulders. Well, that's exactly what I got. I don't know how to spell his name, but it starts with a M. I would recommend him any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'm not only going to go back to Serene Spa, but I'm going to do the Luxury Package, because now I want a facial too! Not only is it a great deal, but I fully expect that my next experience will be another very positive one. This place is amazing. We're all very lucky to be able to enjoy their expertise. All the 5 stars are well earned.
