Three meats, a delicious roasted corn salad, tortillas, three salsas, all the condiments including rice and pinto beans. Even the most picky eaters were raving about the food. Many went back for seconds. Jesus and his assistant were top notch. Professional, courteous, and honest. They communicated with me before and during the event to ensure that our guests had the best experience. That meant a lot to me! The cost was reasonable and fair for the exceptional service and quality. Jesus reminded us that Grapevine also prepares many types of cuisines- anything people like! They serve weddings and large events as well. This event was for about 30 people. I highly recommend Grapevine Catering. It was a successful party, largely in part to the quality and service of the cuisine of our Grapevine Chef & team.

When arrived to our RV park in Avila Beach we were immediately told to look out for the yellow tamale truck. The very next day, we were graced with Savina's presence. We ran down the truck and order half a dozen beef tamales. They were also offering pork and verde pork tamales, but we opted for all beef. These tamales had the perfect ratio of meat to masa; in fact the beef was over flowing! The masa wasn't too heavy and did not crumble when cut. The beef was shredded, super tender, with just a touch of spice. Theses tamales were amazing and, I had to admit, better than the ones my family makes. If you're in the Avila or Pismo Beach areas keep an eye out for the bright yellow tamale truck!

Curious, I came out of the trailer to be met by a tamale truck! *enter angel sounds* Thankfully we had cash on hand and I bought a 6 pack of green chili and cheese tamales with some BOMB red salsa - I was literally a happy camper! The tamale masa was made with the salsa in it - so they were reddish in color. The raja and cheese were amazing -- add an over easy egg on top? And it's breakfast of champions!! I feasted on these one a day for the remainder of our stay! The driver - not sure if it was Savina herself - was friendly and efficient!
