Veggie bowl oh my goshhhh 5/5
Nuran S.

Happened to be at the naughty oak brewing co when I stumbled upon this place. Man oh man was I glad that I did. First off I'd like to point out the hard work ethic of my his food truck. This is run by a small family and I've never seen such hospitality and hard work! They were busting their butts off getting everything out within minutes. The women apologized for running out of noodles and literally ran over to the brewery with her child to give me my meal. I was in awe! The meal was absolutely delicious. Every ingredient of my veggie bowl stood out on its own but somehow they all married together! So delicious and such a nice twist on soul food. Please try this establishment, you won't be sorry that you did!

OMG....Heaven in my mouth! I didn't think I was going to make the cut off close time but sooo glad I did. First and foremost, the service is amazing. Friendly, inviting, accommodating and cheerful. We need more of that these days. I had the Fire Chicken. I quickly learned they were out of noodles which i was a little bummed about HOWEVER the cooks made up for it with probably a healthier alternative. They added fresh avocado, two fried eggs, cabbage and some butternut squash (I think ). Anyway, i did not even miss the noodles. Take a look at my pictures! I actually think my bowl was pretty enough to be in some fancy magazine Ingredients by layer, steamed rice, fresh spinach, two fried eggs, trademark Seoul sauce chicken (all tasted like chicken breast meat), sliced avocado and butternut squash...ohh and some cabbage. I'm a carby and I don't always eat healthy, but the amount of freshness and protein in this bowl was amazing. I felt ZERO guilt after eating. All ingredients were fresh, tasty and the Seoul Sauce was amazing. The fire chicken does had a slight kick to it but everything just balances out. The bowls are a little on the pricey side but nothing more than you would pay for a nice lunch out but tastes 10X better. I learned that the truck moves around during the week from SLO to SM. You can find out where they are if you follow them on IG feedmyseoul805. They also are looking to open up a restaurant in downtown SLO in the Fall of 2021.

Yummy delicious bowls! Not a lot to choose from, probably makes it easier in these days of covid. Even so, they seemed to be busy and w just two guys working it, they took orders and filled them expeditiously... if that's a word! Lol, great food good portions, tasty and vibrant, for a food truck experience is why I gave the 5 stars. Better service than at some sit down restaurants.

36 hour rib bowl with an egg

This food truck...there just aren't words. Okay I lied, there are so many words! They are above and beyond any expectation you would have. No matter what you order on the menu you will love it. They also have a vegetarian option! If I could eat this multiple times a week I would, but since they are traveling, I unfortunately can't do that. The exclusivity of this truck make it that much more desirable for me. My go-to is the 36 hour braised rib option, but often it sells out quickly! The ribs are super tender little nibs, that are perfectly charred. My next favorite is the paper beef. Equally as good! I think I've tried all options on the menu, and you seriously can't go wrong with anything. The red Seoul sauce they put on all the bowls is delicious and the perfect level of spicy (I always order extra!). Food aside, the owners are the sweetest couple you could ever meet! Grace is typically ringing up the orders when I go and she's always such a delight to speak to, even if for only a few moments while I order. I follow them on Instagram so that I can keep up on their location day to day, and I go at any opportunity that I am able. If you're lucky enough to track this truck down, don't hesitate! Go go go!

Typical food truck menu. $11 to $14 per bowl.

Great place for lunch. The food truck is at MindBody at 4051 Broad Street in SLO for lunch on Tuesdays. They usually have 4 or 5 bowls listed on their menu for $11 to $14 each. 36 hour Ribs, Pork Belly, Paper Sesame Beef, Fire Chicken and Veg Brunch. All items are good.

Really enjoy Feed My Soul food truck, and have eaten there several times. My favorite is the 36-hour short ribs, my daughter loves the pork belly. We both enjoy it with the wonderful fried egg on top. It's very tasty, very satisfying, great mixture of textures and the right amount of heat, love the noodle/rice combo. Super yummy! Everyone on the truck is super friendly!

I had no expectations, but was hopeful that it'd be good. It was better than I expected! The sesame beef was delicious. It was served with rice, noodles, lettuce, a bit of dressing and some gochujang for a kick. I practically inhaled it. I will definitely continue to follow them on FB & instagram so I can see where they show up next!

By far the best Korean food we've ever had. I had the fire chicken and my hubby had paper sesame beef. Mine was gluten free and delicious! Definitely will be going for more The owners of the business are super sweet and knowledgeable on food allergens.

Basically a bowl with rice on the bottom, layered with noodles, then topped with some greens and a meat of choice. Cool swag with the meals.

We were served by the greatest waitress. I do wanna say each person on their staff that we talk to was very friendly and helpful! Our server though was the best! We caught her name this time.... Next time you're in there ask for Rachael! Tell her Alia Rachael sent you... she'll get a real kick out of it. I drive up on the weekends from Los Angeles to visit my boyfriend. Lompoc is a hard place to find quality food. And most of the inside of the restaurants here look like people have temporarily moved in. There's some breakout places that have outstanding food.... But we've had some weird service. It's rarely both in one place. We will be back too have sushi here often. I also come from a background in the restaurant/bar/management industry. It's really refreshing to be served by people who are genuine and you can tell sincerely like being in the food industry. Trying to find pictures from the last time we there so I can edit this post.... But in the meantime, didn't wanna miss the opportunity to Push people to go try this if you haven't. PS we were in there fairly late on a rainy Saturday night. I imagine they had more business earlier but when we were there, it was getting close to closing time not a lot of people and we still had top-tier service.... And beautifully presented and prepared food.

The staff are incredibly nice and they were very attentive to us when we arrived. We were able to enjoy an outdoor table and the food blew us away! I ordered the Jajangmyeon noodle dish at the register and took a seat. It came with a dish of yellow radish. The Jajangmyeon had julienned cucumber on top. The sauce for this dish is supposed to be thick. Unfortunately, I was served a version that was very thin and oily. The sauce had tiny pieces of diced overcooked pork and a just a small pieces of zucchini. Other than that the rest was slices of blackened onions. The cost was also expensive at $15.95 before tax. This was the most I have ever paid for this dish and the quality was inferior and there wasn't enough veggies in the sauce. Between the pork and zucchini, I estimate it was less than a 1/4 cup. So essentially the dish was mainly noodles in with a sauce filled with onions.
