I tried this at a work event I attended. The owner was very sweet and answered all my questions. I decided to go with the cherry flavor. I love that they have homemade flavors without all the dyes. It was very good and refreshing on a hot day. read more

Paradise Shaved Ice is an Atascadero institution, so we're glad to see that, even with the events of the last year-and-a-half, Angela and her three trucks are still rolling along, serving up the delicious shaved ice treats we've been enjoying for years. Today my hubby got a mango/peach with condensed milk combo, and I got a cherry/pineapple/mango -- both were SO REFRESHING and SO GOOD! Follow Paradise Shaved Ice on FB and IG to see where they'll be on any given day so you don't miss out. Oh, and they do special events where they can whip up some over-21 treats for you and your guests to enjoy. Sweet. read more

Paradise Shaved Ice didn't let the COVID-19 pandemic stop us from celebrating my daughter's 8th Birthday. Thank you Paradise Shaved Ice for safely providing the children and families with yummy shaved ice! The various flavors were delicious! Everyone had a great time, especially the birthday girl. I loved that they knew to write the kids names on the cups because inevitably, the kids were going to leave it somewhere and forget which cup was theirs. I highly suggest for parties! read more

We used Angela and her crew for our wedding this October and highly recommend them! Angela took the time to work out a menu with me and she was so kind and passionate about her food. Everyone raved about her garlic mashed potatoes and various gourmet sliders. All the vegetables she used were fresh and the flavors were great. They were a great addition to our vendor team! read more

We had Paradise do our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. They are not just shaved ice. They provide full service food. Angela and her crew were wonderful. Good food and good service. Great Ladies ! Phenomenal attitude and arrived on time ! Everyone at the birthday party loved them thank you

Angela is the nicest! We were super hot and thirsty after playing ultimate frisbee in Atascadero and craving shaved ice. We called Paradise and even though she was packed up for the day, she let us come by her house for some home-made shaved ice deliciousness. She makes the flavors herself and uses natural non GMO ingredients with no high-fructose corn syrup. She even gave us refills of extra ice! Would definitely recommend Paradise for parties and events or just to cool off! read more

It doesnt get much better than this place. We hired them for an event and they were expectional, great pricing amazing service. And their flavors were PHENOMENAL!! Highly recommend read more

When I see the Paradise Shaved Ice food truck I just smile feel because I know I'm going to see those cheerful faces serving up the best shaved ice here in San Luis Obispo county. They have quality syrups, no high fructose corn syrup and even have Stevia sweetened sugar free and dye free flavors! I had a root beer shaved ice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream today and it was sooooo good. Better than a root beer float!!! I also had slider burgers and they were amazing bbq'd thick burgers! I didn't expect that. It cooled me way down after such a hot day and solved my what to eat for dinner question. Thank you for being here for us! read more

We called to find out location of the truck. They move to different locations such as the Atascadero Farmers market. Leah was delightful and provided the best customer service. She was inspiring sharing how she came up with the idea as a child and now at 17 has been in business for 6 years. She credits her mom Angela for believing in her. Our shaved ices were delicious and refreshing on a 100 degree day. I also liked that they make their syrups so it had no high fructose corn syrup. Keep up the great work!!! read more

Paradise Shave Ice is awesome. I threw a 61st birthday party for my husband at Barney Schwartz park and had Angela and her crew there to make "grown up" shaved ices for the guests. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how awesome it was- both the wonderful flavors and fun presentation, but the engaging and fun gals running the truck. Paradise Shaved Ice was an EXCELLENT addition to our party. Angela was great to work with and the treats were next level! read more

Paradise Shaved Ice - Tigers Blood with a scoop of ice cream and condensed milk drizzled on top, AMAZING!!!! - Shaved Ice Near Me

My husband went to Santa Margarita to take the grandkids for a shaved ice. He was totally dismayed when he approached the truck and found the workers without masks! He almost left. Food workers who cater to children should wear masks! The snow cones were great though. He won't be back until they mask up. read more

We hired Angie and her team for my husband's 60th birthday party. We knew the Shaved Ice truck would be a big hit with the kids, but did not know if the adults would enjoy Shaved Ice, adult style (margarita, pina colada, mai tai). The truck was a smashing success and ended up being a focal point of our party. They worked hard to ensure that all of our guests were truly enjoying themselves. Angie is a boatload of fun wrapped up in a whole lot of professionalism. We will definitely hire them for all future parties that we host. read more

Angela and her crew of Paradise Shaved Ice have got this down! The snow cone flavor choices (including dye free) are fantastic. The food is perfectly cooked every time. My family and I LOVE the tri-tip and pulled-pork sandwiches. And, to top it all off, the food is affordable and portions are generous! We are so excited to make this one of our favorites! read more

Oh my gosh! So happy to have found this little gem! Super yummy Sno cones with tons of different flavors. The owner makes all the syrups herself and they are fabulous. I had pink grapefruit - delicious, my daughter had raspberry and tutti frutti, my son had orange and root beer (his was the yummiest) and my friend's daughter had tiger's blood (kind of a coconut flavor) with raspberry. We even sampled some with pickle flavor and that was interesting! I will definitely make the drive from SLO to come here again! read more

Yummy...... and priced GREAT. I recommend getting the tigers blood with a condensed milk snow cap... totally delicious. I appreciated the owner explaining that she makes them how she would want to eat them herself. Not at all stingy with the flavoring, and very generous with portion for price. My husband and I wished the ice was shaved just a bit finer, but overall was fabulous. read more

Absolutely love this place! I grew up getting shaved ice with my mom and when I moved here and there was no shaved ice to be found, I was bummed! Now that Paradise is here, I can take my kids and share the same experience I had! My faves are the apple pie flavor with ice cream, whipped cream and caramel on top AND root beer float! read more

I contracted with the Angela of Paradise Shaved Ice on February 28, 2017 to provide a food truck at a recent two-day event in Paso Robles. On April 27, just two days prior to the event, she advised me that instead of bringing her food truck that was to have served tri-tip sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, churros and soft pretzels, along with sodas and water that she in fact would only be sending her small shaved ice trailer and she would not be present after all. Instead, she sent her 14-year-old daughter and another helper. I called when they were 45 minutes late and she told me that they had a late night and that they would get there when they could. She also complained that they had four events going on that day which is not my problem, especially because at the time I contacted her to do our event her calendar was clear. They arrived late and left early. Angela sent a text later that day advising me that they would not be coming to the second day of our event because she did not make enough money and besides, there are too many Democrats. What one's political affiliation has to do with eating a snow cone, I will never know. Needless to say, I will never contract with this individual again - her word cannot be trusted! read more
