I was referred to Dr. Gaudin because of an extruded disk at L4-L5 that left me in unbearable pain and unable to walk unassisted. Despite my anxiety about surgery, Dr. Gaudin's genuine concern and overwhelming knowledge of his field gave me confidence. Dr. Gaudin has a good reputation for taking the time to sit down with his patients, ensuring we feel heard and supported. His dedication, both during and after office hours, kept me well-informed and prepared. His approach was conservative; he didn't "force" surgery, didn't make any false promises and he suggested physical therapy and/or pain management as options. I ended up having a minimally invasive OLIF procedure and, thankfully, today, I am walking normally and pain-free.
