He is ALWAYS available if there is an emergency. In fact, one night, after I contacted his office/service because of a major lower back flare-up, he called me from a Yankee game that he was attending (!); and told me how to proceed. I think it is a combination of his very down to earth and very calm and patient demeanor, combined with his innate sensitivity and deep respect for all persons, that makes his patients feel so comfortable. He invites questions, and ALWAYS does his best to respond. In addition, I have never have had to wait more than a few minutes when I have an appointment to see him. (And during these very short waiting periods, I often chat with his receptionists/medical secretaries, who are also as kind as can be.) Obviously I recommend this doctor to the highest degree possible.

If you're looking for results then you've found the doctor you're looking for.

That Dr. Shah personally reached out to me shows me she really cares . She is an excellent Dr. with a good bedside manner and deserves another chance. I'm now confident future experiences with her staff will be better . I would have given zero stars if possible, Dr. Shah is a fine Dr. but her office is rude, unprofessional and make her practice unworthy of my time. Recently I asked her office to help me fill out paperwork for FMLA, a chronic pain condition I have. Never have encountered such uncaring and unprofessional desk staff. After hurting my lower back and just dealing with it for months my co worker recommended I call this office. I initially saw Dr Basra one of the spine specialists. He took his time and explained everything clearly to me and actually showed me my MRI. I was able to see that I had a herniated disk. He suggested an Epidural injection for the pain. I was able to have a consultation and injection with Dr Abbasi within a week. They have an amazing set up to do the injections in their office. Their assistants made me feel comfortable, played music to calm my nerves and were able to get me home in an hour after my injection. Doing much better now Highly recommend!

After four hours of repeated calls I called the local taxi company. It's very disrespectful to make fun of patients in waiting area which was done. A waiting area should be a relaxed environment, not a Latina Club. Music was only in Spanish, played very loud and the bass was horrible. I had no choice but to wear ear buds. I witnessed a patient asking politely to lower music. They made fun of her in Spanish which is absolutely unprofessional. I waited over an hour. When booking appointment I was told to show up 15 minutes early, don't do it. I will never go back to this office. It's not run properly and patients are not top priority. It was the worst doctors visit I've ever had and I'm 55 years old.
