I was not impressed with my visit here. I thought this was one of the nicer more boutique styled offices in town. I was wrong. A little back ground, I've always taken meticulous care of my teeth and my dentist in my old town has a top notch office and the services to match. I actually look forward to going to the dentist---it's that great of an experience!
Any who, I showed up early for my appointment and the front desk staff happily got me signed in. I waited about 15mins before I was taken back. The waiting area is desperate need of a remodel. Nothing wrong with it per se-- but with the prices she charges I was expecting something more "glamorous". The office is definitely not what a modern dental office should be.
My hygienist did a good job and was very nice. We discussed a small procedure I was interested in and she said Dr. Shah would talk more about it. So we finish up and Dr. Shah comes in moments later.
My hygienist tells Dr. Shah about the procedure and it's as if she couldn't care less. She never mentions it again. She spends all of 3 minutes in the room before she was on her way. When I arrived there were 3 people in the waiting room so my assumption is that she is too busy to provide the quality of service I am accustomed to. Nice enough lady nonetheless.
After finishing my cleaning, I proceed to the front desk to pay for my visit.( note: she does not take insurance) The total is just shy of $300. I hand over my card and head out the door. As I settle in the car and prepare to drive away I began to realize how underwhelmed I was with my visit. I have no qualms about paying $300 for a dental cleaning. However, at this price point you are no longer paying for a cleaning, you are paying for the experience. You want to be "wowed". You don't get that here. Her facility nor service match the price she is charging.
I will not be returning and I do not recommend. read more
