My husband and I parked our vehicle in this garage one time while we ate at a nearby restaurant. It was the summer, and many spaces were available. Our vehicle was safe when we returned. I looked around and there e was no parking at all except parking garages. I choose this garage as it seemed to be the closest. My experience was not so great. I went in took a ticket and drove from bottom to top many times looking for a spot with no avail. I did see a few spots but no way my big jeep grand Cherokee would fit. I drove around for about 35 minutes and was about to give up and leave then found one finally. The spot was very tight but got in. Overall was not thrilled with garage as they should have said full before entering it. I would say that the spots were seemingly for smaller cars and I also found that there were not enough handicap spots. The driving in the garage was very tight especially for a big car. I personally would stay away from this garage. I would not go again unless I had to

(Please refer to my photo) The uniformed guard / attendant is always friendly and helpful. He's like a concierge in a hotel. He pretty much knows where to go and how to get you there. This is is my other favorite place to park after 4 p.m. and weekends. After 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, parking is only $4.. I would definitely check this place out if you need to park somewhere clean, safe and close to the heart of downtown.

I had trouble with finding a parking space on the streets, so after driving around for many minutes, I waited for a spot to open in this parking lot. This parking lot has a payment machine. I paid $2 for two hours of parking. I had to type in my license plate number. The machine was not giving out receipts. I do wish that this parking lot contained more spaces, but I feel thankful that I was able to get a parking spot so I could eat lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Some garages in the city have one way which is nice and less chances of wrecking into someone. Especially if you have a large truck like I do, the chances are increased on smashing into someone. However the off-peak rates after 5 PM was very nice at $4 compared to some places that charge $6 and much more on flat rates on Friday - Sunday. It was simple to pay on the bottom floor, getting around wasn't as easy when you're parked around a corner, you have to walk a distance to locate an elevator. However for $4 worth it.

It is really fascinating how much this place has transformed from even just ten years ago. When I…read morefirst moved to Pittsburgh, there was basically not much there and now it is packed from end to end with a huge variety of businesses. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.

Not that much of a nightmare that warrants a deduction of stars, but a nightmare in terms of how fast this garage fills up. This was the first time that I utilized this garage. When I come downtown I usually go for convenience and park closer to where I need to be than where I find myself at. But after parking here I could see myself using it more often. However if you intend on attempting to use this early in the day, be advised that if you are not one of the first people, you will be out of luck. This garage fills up, and is cut off to only leases, after about 7:40 a.m. Also be careful of the curbs, I have seen people get flat tires because they get too close when pulling in. It is a fairly big garage, ample spaces to choose from. Spots available for electric car charging if you need that. Pay in the lobby or at the exit. Restrooms available if you need that.
