I was supposed to call 48hrs in advance to reserve the equipment but forgot and they still had what I needed with only 24hr notice. When I arrived to pick up, the employee was very helpful in explaining things with regard to the machine and the rental. He advised me on other issues related to the job at hand as well. Most pleasantly, as a woman who entered into contact with this business alone and never mentioned any help I had, at no point did I feel like the employees doubted my ability to complete the job, and I never felt disrespected or treated like a "little lady".

This is a great place to get plates, napkins, matching plastic silverware, and tablecloths for any occasion. I also have purchased their small clear plastic decorative cups when I made pudding cups or cheesecake shooters that were individual serving sizes. They have plastic wine cups too that are great for large parties when you don't want to use all your glassware. Most recently I have visited here to get balloons filled. I didn't know that they offered this service until I called to check. I already had the balloons and ribbon, but they suggested I drop them off earlier in the day and then pick them up around 4:00 before they close, and before my event started. The latex balloons only last about 6-8 hours. It cost only about $1 to fill up each balloon. The drop off/pick up process was smooth and the workers there are SO nice! I don't know the guy's name that has done my balloons the last two times, but he is the best! So friendly and makes it easy! He even puts the balloons in a bag so they are easy to get in the car. They returned the extra balloons and ribbon both times. None of the balloons popped, and they all held up during the full events. I am so happy to find this local place that is close to the city and convenient for my events. I definitely recommend stopping in here just to check it out!

Did the 3 hour package September 28,2018 for the night before our wedding for the two families to meet each other. We had 65 people with plenty of seating. Some of the passengers were young children and everyone had fun. They had a full licensed bar and bar tender with amazing prices. We were allowed to bring our own food and such. A person in the wedding party put together a play list which plugged right into a quality sounding system. The crew and captain were knowledgeable , polite and very helpful. Two of the 3 rivers were under flood watch so we had to stay away from them but you would not have even known that!! We still saw plenty of downtown Pittsburgh. There was even a medical emergence which was handled flawlessly (health issue not due to the cruise). Captain Mark immediately spotted a safe spot along the river, as they were pulling over and finding places to tie off the caption was on the radio with river rescue and on the phone with 911. Half the passengers were unaware anything was going on until they saw EMS show up and board, that is how big the boat is. (It ended up not being as life threatening but all the correct decisions were made and executed). We continued along the cruise and captain Mark and his crew made it an amazing experience that my wife to be and I will be forever thankful for. Again, I highly recommend using Pittsburgh Luxury Cruise if you ever have a largish event.

There's parking available but a flat rate fee applies on event days, also the garage is cheaper than the open lot for the flat rate. The ship is in desperate need of an upgrade as it looks extremely dated, and worn. The buffet was also disappointing. It honestly feels like the same buffet that was being served more than 20 years ago. For the price, I expected more. I remember taking these cruises years ago when they were fun, exciting, and something you really looked forward to. But now, as someone 50+, I realize the experience no longer seems geared toward my age group. The crowd was much younger, and the music was heavily geared toward that audience as well. A better mix of old-school R&B, classic dance music, and newer selections would have made the evening much more enjoyable. There's definitely still potential because dinner and dance cruise concept is still a great one. However, the Clipper could really benefit from updating the ship, improving the buffet and music.

The entrance to the space is down a somewhat steep driveway situation in the back of an establish business. Not sure how well lit their parking lot would be at night and you may feel a little nervous until you get inside. The interior is a much larger space than I thought it looked from the exterior. I believe there are two break rooms so you could be breaking next door to another group at the same time. It's partitioned very well so you shouldn't see their debris flying into your space but you will likely hear their "rage" (laughter and breaking). The owner was super nice and a great conversationalist. She provided us a music genre of our choice in our room and an extra bonus box of beer bottles. She also provided us with gloves and a face shield for safety. My reservation was for a whole hour but smashing 3 boxes of items and chatting with the owner might have only taken us 25 mins. She offered us more smashables for very reasonable prices but as middle aged adults we assumed our throwing arms might be sore in the a.m. It was so fun and we laughed a lot together. Great short little date. I brought home a Santa tea cup as a souvenir from our box. Didn't have the heart to smash him and his reindeers. Overall, GREAT experience. I wish this business well.
