Fun boat tour around the city of Pittsburgh outer limits that takes you underneath several bridges as well as with a good look at some of the historical buildings and the stadiums for the Pirates and Steelers. The tour guide did a great job narrating about various points of interest and the historical contexts, while certainly not sugarcoating anything. The boat itself was nothing special, with an interior decor that takes you back to circa 1993, but they do offer dinner/party cruises with buffet and bar drinks as well. Price was a tad expensive but still a solid experience for a tourist.

Fantastic time! Sat on the top level and had a very interesting tour narrated by Sam, who did a fantastic job. Learned a lot about Pittsburgh ( second time here).and even took notes. 60 minute tour but wish it was longer. $30 per person. Great drinks too.

What a great way to explore the City of Bridges but with a boat tour! We booked our tickets online, parked in the lot, and before we knew it were cruising on the 3 rivers enjoying breathtaking views of Pittsburgh! The tour guide shared lots of information and helped us learn about the city, its buildings, bridges, and history.

Valentine's Day dinner on the gateway clipper was fantastic! Beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes and green beans with garden side salad was served buffet style. The strawberry cheese cake for desert was excellent! Terrific DJ, kept the party going. This might be a new Valentine's Day tradition.

Without reservations we traveled here from Wheeling WV on a Sunday for a tour, arriving at 10:30 am on Father's Day and were able to secure a spot for the 11 am tour. The tour lasted about an hour and was very informative. We went down all three rivers, learning about the various bridges, points of interest, and history of Pittsburgh along the way. The boat had two interior decks, a bathroom, and a bar area, as well as 3rd level exterior seating which we choose (and was the most popular even in 90 degree weather). I would suggest if this is where you want to sit to get there early and make sure you are one of the first to board. Be sure to bring sunscreen, you'll need it, and seasonally appropriate clothing. The parking lot cost $8 for 12 hours, so it only makes sense to visit the limited amount of restaurants nearby. It's a nice way to relax and enjoy the city views.

This is a fun and informative way to tour downtown Pittsburgh via the water. We enjoyed the views and history lesson of how the bridges and buildings came to be. This was very relaxing and enjoyable. Parking is available nearby but know it's a flat rate of $15.00.

My favorite view from the tour.

Visited Pittsburgh at the end of October and knew i had to take a cruise. I took the PRT over from downtown and enjoyed the walk along the water. I opted for a mid-day cruise and bought my ticket in-person. They give physical tickets, which I liked because it's definitely being added to my scrapbook. The weather was nice, thankfully no rain. The views, 10/10. I really loved all the information that was shared over the speaker, explaining the different areas. Definitely a highlight of my amazing trip.

Great way to hear about the history/landmarks of Pittsburgh from the three rivers. The gentleman tour guide really has a lot to remember and did a great job!!

Nothing screams Pittsburgh charm like a Gateway Clipper ride to a Steelers game! A perfect option for attending events on the North Shore. Event parking at Station Square is $10, then a round trip ticket to the North Shore is $15 per person. The drop off/pick up for Steelers games is conveniently located right outside of gate A. So much more relaxing of a commute than sitting in traffic on the North Shore!

We really appreciated the opportunity to see Pittsburgh from this vantage point. Being on the three rivers and hearing a bit about the history was really interesting. We got there too late to get a seat outside but we really enjoyed sitting at a table by the window! The narrator was very informative and even though it was a canned presentation, he made it seem pretty natural. Probably not something I would do again but would be good for visitors.

    Haunted cruise.

Absolutely a fun, interesting, and informative cruise. Looking for something different to do? I highly recommend taking a cruise around the 3 rivers! Little pricy but well worth it! Looking forward to seeing the sights again soon!!

It's a cash only business. However, I was told they had 5-6 available, so we rushed straight there. When we got there we were told there was only 1 paddle board. We reluctantly rented a hydrobike, a paddleboard and 2 kayaks. I didn't want to waste my money to pay for something we didn't want, and my kids were disappointed, but if they only had 1, what else could we do after driving the whole way there and only having a couple hour window to spend together before my oldest had to work? I asked to be put on a waitlist for one and the lady literally said, "Well, I guess I could start one, but you would have to be up here to get it." So I asked if one came in, could we be first in line and she said yes. I then watched one come in, so I gave her the kayak chip and asked to exchange it for a paddle board chip, but she said that the paddle boarder had to pay first. With time ticking on our rentals we waited for her to come up and pay and then watched her leave. Afterward, I was told that there was still no paddle board available. So we gave up and walked down to the dock and I explained that we had a chip for a hydrobike, a paddleboard, and 2 kayaks but that we wanted another paddleboard or 2, and pointed to the pile of them laying there. The dock worker assured me that they had 4 available and as we were talking another came in. He walked up with me to the table where you get the chips and they told him that the paperwork showed that there were none available, and so we couldn't get one. Seriously? We went back down to the dock and one of the guys got 2 paddle boards out for us, but then saw the chips we had and put one back. I asked if we could keep it since there were plenty available and one of the employees yelled at me and said that there must be people waiting for them or they would've given us a chip for one. There were 5 paddleboards, no one waiting but us since she had no wait list and didn't start one but told us we could have one if one came in. We never did get another paddle board and our hour was cut short as we waited for them. This place is incompetently and poorly run, and they didn't even try to remedy our situation by physically looking to see that there were boards available. How hard is that? Common sense is not strong with these folks! We received no apology and no extra time on our rental. On a rare occasion when I had my kids available together on a beautiful day and we all wanted to have fun paddle boarding together, we couldn't because the paperwork said that none were available, even though there were 5! You can't make this stuff up!!!
