I looked around and there e was no parking at all except parking garages. I choose this garage as it seemed to be the closest. My experience was not so great. I went in took a ticket and drove from bottom to top many times looking for a spot with no avail. I did see a few spots but no way my big jeep grand Cherokee would fit. I drove around for about 35 minutes and was about to give up and leave then found one finally. The spot was very tight but got in. Overall was not thrilled with garage as they should have said full before entering it. I would say that the spots were seemingly for smaller cars and I also found that there were not enough handicap spots. The driving in the garage was very tight especially for a big car. I personally would stay away from this garage. I would not go again unless I had to

You must show photo ID upon entering. The parking rate is reasonable, considering its proximity to the heart of downtown. 1 hour $7 two or more is $14. (Please refer to my photo) The uniformed guard / attendant is always friendly and helpful. He's like a concierge in a hotel. He pretty much knows where to go and how to get you there. This is is my other favorite place to park after 4 p.m. and weekends. After 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, parking is only $4.. I would definitely check this place out if you need to park somewhere clean, safe and close to the heart of downtown.

I felt very thankful to find this garage to park my vehicle. This garage contains a couple hundred parking spaces, and it is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. As of 2023, the parking rates are $3 for less than 1 hour, $6 for less than 3 hours, $9 for less than 5 hours, and $12 for over 5 hours. A monthly lease is also available. Customers may pay either cash or credit card to either the cashier or the machines. My husband and I parked our vehicle at this garage for less than one hour, so we had to pay only $3. One payment machine was not working, and a long line of customers was waiting for the other machine. The cashier called my husband and me over to his window, and in a matter of seconds, the cashier accepted our payment, and he told us, "Have a good one!" My husband and I rode the elevator up to our parking level to retrieve our vehicle. As we exited the garage, we put our paid parking ticket in the exit machine.

We also had to flag down the guy to open the gate to let us out. Would rather fight for street parking or find a further garage and walk.

For many years my husband and I have visited Squirrel Hill, mostly to shop and dine. We always park our vehicle in a garage. We recommend putting a bit more money into the parking meter than you expect to need, because we have seen a police officer writing many parking tickets for vehicles in that garage. Most recently, my husband and I did a self-designed food tour in several restaurants on Murray Avenue and Forbes Avenue. We ate at T-Swirl Crepe, Waffallonia, Amazing Dumplings, Commonplace Coffee, and Hidden Harbor. We also shopped in Panda Supermarket, Chocolate Moose, and Ebisu and spent time in the Carnegie Library. Previously we enjoyed eating at Kiin Lao & Thai Eatery, Ramen Bar, Kyo Matcha, Mango Mango, etcetera. We always appreciate how the business district has a diverse population and international cuisine, is very walkable, and feels safe.

It's because my theme is a progressive dinner style around Asian restaurants. I saw a lot of storefronts on Forbes that were covered with coming soon building wraps. They were all Asian restaurants. That's a good sign. For sure, it's a progress with economic prosperity in this neighborhood. I stayed at an Airbnb with walking distance to the center of the attention. My only gripe was that not many restaurants open on Sunday morning. But I enjoyed my morning stroll alone to witness the fall colors. That's a bonus on this trip. I could never see this sight in Houston Texas, where I'm from.
