I have a lease at this garage, which is new and very nice overall. I use it daily for work a couple blocks away, as well as virtually anything else I attend downtown, which is a lot, from the theater to hockey games to concerts to ball games on the North Side. So I really get my money's worth out of my lease. I also encourage my family and friends to park here when coming downtown for events during off hours and weekends, as it's a $4 flat rate up to 12 hours during those times, which is a fantastic deal. This garage also provides parking for Fogo de Chao restaurant, and is going to be used by residents of the new apartments currently being built above it. Construction of those is limiting some available spaces on the top floor right now. I have to deduct stars for the incredibly narrow navigation between the floors of this garage. GO SLOW as you proceed around a turn, because you can't tell if someone's coming right at you around the bend. I have witnessed one collision in this garage and nearly been part of a couple over the several years I've been parking here. A large number of the spaces are also designated for compact vehicles so, if you actually want room to open your door and get out of your car, you will want to make sure to grab one of the regular spaces. The location here is very convenient and central, however, and I really appreciate the ability to enter and exit on either the Fifth Avenue or Oliver side, which can put you significantly closer to your destination all while parking within the same garage. read more
