Flexible, affordable and service-oriented... everything you want when you hire someone! Stephen and Andrew are such a great team and are super flexible with people's work schedule! We covered 3 sliding doors and 3 windows! It was so much more affordable than other places I called and they had a good selection. They look amazing and really completed the look of the house! Shades West goes above and beyond to answer questions and make sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend them!! read more

Awesome/quality service, friendly, flexible, great pricing, quality blinds. Stephen (owner) goes out of way to do extra for his customers and keep his words. Easy to contact, always answers his phone or call you back immediately if call is missed. Professional, speedy installation, highly recommended!!! Other vendors provided ridiculously high prices while forcing you to sign the contract on the spot or the same day. They quoted an extremely high price then give you a discount to force you to sign the contract. Stephen gives you one reasonable price and sticks with it. He doesn't use dirty tricks that other vendors do. read more

Stephen and Andrew are great! They work at all hours of the day which is ery important when you have a demanding job and cannot be available during normal working hours. They really take pride in what they do and go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. read more

My experience with Shades West was by far one of the best I've had as it relates to customer service. Stephen was super helpful when educating me on all the different types of shades. He provided me with a number of different options that I could choose from based on my budget. He didn't once try to push me in one way or another, which let me know he was genuinely there to help me with whatever option I chose to go with. The shade arrived extremely fast and the install was amazing. I would highly recommend Shades West, the product and service they provide are worth 6 stars. read more

Stephen did an outstanding job with our remote controlled shades and curtains. He even set it up where we can control the shades on our iPhones when we aren't at home. We ran into a little problem with the order when the supplier sent the wrong size for one window but Stephen more than made up for their error. He is a man of integrity. He is professional and made us feel like valued customers. We LOVE our shades/curtains and highly recommend Shades West. read more

Owner Stephen Gall delivered our various rooms shades today, well ahead of schedule and at a price below all our other estimates. Fantastic, professional job and he really knows his craft. At no extra charge, he also repaired some other shades from the prior owner that had the inexpensive plastic draw cord(for lack of a better term) pieces fall out. I'm a columnist/reporter and we'll be referring him to others without hesitation. And having him replace other window treatments in the futurte. Plus as Marie C wrote here, Stephen perfectly matched the existing shades in color and texture which was important to my wife. He was also great about staying in contact with us. Never had to do any chasing him down(like with others) as he texted & kept in touch w/ us at each point in the process. Now that was a Christmas present with him working right up to Wednesday this week; unlike other working on our home. Dr Mike here, wrealano@aol.com & ok to use me as a reference. We're in HTon Beach now, just moved 400 miles south from NorCalif. read more

If I could give Stephen 10 stars, I would! We previously had a horrible experience with a shade installer in Vero Beach, FL. The shade install was a disaster. We scheduled an appointment with Shades West through their website. It was so easy and convenient! Stephen arrived on the scheduled date and at the agreed upon time. From the time he arrived until the time Stephen left, he was totally professional. It was evident Stephen knows his business line. We were expecting to get a quote for all new shades. Instead of selling us something we didn't need, Stephen was honest and suggested we keep the shades and just replace all of the motors. Having gone through a previous horrible experience, we were so relieved. Then to take it a step further, Stephen took the time to fix and program all of our shades that didn't need new motors but just needed to be taken down, realigned, adjusted, and reprogrammed. We are so grateful for Stephen. It is evident he takes great pride in his work and his business reputation. I HIGHLY recommend Shades West and Stephen. If you want a honest company with a high work ethic and professional installation, Shades West should definitely be your choice! read more

Friendly, professional, affordable and fast! Could not have asked for a better experience in getting window treatments. Stephen helped me pick the best option for each room of the house and helped save me money with his suggestions and guidance. Great prices for great quality, can't beat that! I would happily recommend this company to any friend or family. read more

I needed shades for the living, dining, and kitchen following upgrades to my condo, so I called Shades West based on the Yelp reviews. Reliable, quick response from Stephen. The guys brought many samples for me to look at on site. It was great having several samples to compare with the new wall colors and the natural light. The entire process was quick, easy, and painless for me. No lag time between ordering and install. I'm very happy with the installed products. Great quality and service. Prices competitive. Thanks guys! read more

Shades West turned my living room from dark and dingy to beautiful and chic in no time. I wanted to replace my vertical blinds with something more modern. I contacted Shades West and not only were they quick to respond, but they came out to give me an estimate that same day! I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. Their estimate was extremely competitive compared to the 2 other estimates I had received. I now have beautiful roller shades that completely change the look of my living room! Who knew window treatments could transform a room so much. I highly recommend this company. read more

I sent Shades West a message on yelp and they answered me right away. We made an appointment and Andrew came and gave me an estimate on the spot. He is very professional and takes time getting to know exactly what I was looking for. He made the process very simple and helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted. He was very informative on all the products he carries. I'm very happy I found them, I highly recommend. read more

What a lifesaver Stephen at Shades West is! We have been having problems with our electric shades since we moved into our place, and nobody - including the guy who installed them - has been able to fix them. Then comes Stephen. He figured out the problems immediately, and fixed the shades within minutes. He was in and our so quick. He even realized that the guy who initially installed them did such a horrible job that he used the wrong brackets. Stephen just happened to have the right brackets in his truck, so he replaced those too. I would definitely recommend Shades West to anybody! read more

I honestly don't know what to say as I was blown away with professionalism and amazing service they provided. Stephen came to our house on our busy schedule and won us over with the details and amazing products he offered. We had done our shopping for curtains and blinds and his prices and products beat everyone! I hired them on the spot and he placed my orders right away. I would recommend them to anyone as they are amazing and truthfully and provide the best service with the best prices that you can't beat! I have already referred to several people and will continue to do so. Thank you guys we honestly, greatly appreciate your hard work! read more

I looked into 5 different companies and was most impressed with the quality of product, response time and professionalism of Shades West. The owner personally came for the quote and install. He also dropped off complimentary disposable blinds for us to use while we waited for ours to come in. You can tell the owner is a perfectionist as everything looked amazing! His team also brought and wore shoe covers even though I didn't request it. Very very clean install. After meeting with 5 different companies and doing a ton of research I can honestly say I wouldn't even consider another company in the future. You will be happy with your decision to do business with them! Just FYI we bought roller shades and blackout shades for our downstairs and cordless blinds for our upstairs. read more

Stephen was the best to work with! I called a few companies for estimates and he was the first to respond and booked for the very next day. He really knew his products. He kept me informed the whole way. Shades West turned around my 10wk fiasco with 3-Day Blinds and I'm very happy now! read more

The most reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient in the business. We had blinds installed in our living room, bedroom, and master shower. They did a great job for us. We will use them again and have referred them to our family and friends. read more

I can't say enough good things about Shades West. The product I received is perfect for what I was looking for. I needed to install blackout shades, plus I needed to have them installed on some skylights with motors. Somewhat tricky, and they seamlessly made it happen and they look fantastic. Stephen takes pride in his work, and is passionate about what he does, and it shows. read more

I had a great experience with Shades West--they are an affordable, quality service company for anyone interested in shades and blinds. I met with Andrew, who walked me through a number of designs and options for my windows. They have a great selection and can install both automated and manual shades. He made the process extremely consumer friendly and was very responsive from the start to finish. And most importantly, the final product turned out great! I strongly recommend them! read more

Nothing will beat good communications, Stephen communicates more than the others. I have 4 different company assessed and gave me estimates (Others talk to you like you need them more than they need you as a customers!).. Not only Stephen communicates faster than everybody, he gave me the lowest prize too! (He's the owner so he can give you the lowest prize possible). Gave us temporary blinds while waiting for the shutters, we got the shades after a week and shutters within 6-7 weeks. After each has been installed by his crew, Stephen will come by and check if everything is ok and will take pictures. Will give you options depending in your liking and only carries good quality materials! Overall experience was 100% Satisfied! Good looking Patio Shades, restrooms blind and 3 rooms Shutters.. read more

DON'T TRUST THIS GUY! He seems very shady. This guy was very aggressive to schedule an appointment with me and when I gave him my personal info and time to meet, he never responded to me again. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and messaged him again saying "I understand you were probably busy, let's reschedule". Still no response, he probably sold my info to some solicitor. I bet after he sees this negative review he'll message me. Whatever, I'll just ignore him like he did to me. read more

Stephen and Andrew are an excellent team - quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. They recently installed black out motorized shades in our bedroom and beautiful airy shades in our living room. To cover all eight windows, the process took less than 30 minutes and they look fantastic. So pleased with the service. Will definitely use them again and recommend to our friends! read more

I needed window coverings in my new home as soon as possible because I felt like I was living in a fishbowl. Andrew and Stephen came the same day I called them and were so helpful for I had no idea what I wanted. They were patient and informative about all the options I had. I ended up getting light filtering roller shades to keep my rooms bright while getting privacy. The turn around was fast and they installed the shades in under two hours! Not to mention they were the cheapest out of 4 estimates. I highly recommend these guys!! read more

Stephen and his team from Shades West are top notch! I purchased indoor solar shades for my condo in South Florida. Unlike many other solar shade providers, Shades West was able to provide wider shades so I could do my lanai in two versus three shades - a huge differentiator that added to the project's aesthetics. Stephen is dedicated to pleasing his clients and he did not disappoint. He quickly responded to my inquiry for a quote. He will look you directly in the eye and answer all your questions honestly. I had a deadline to meet and he met it ahead of time. The installed shades look great and I am completely satisfied. There is lots of competition in the shade market. Stephen is younger and growing his business. He has earned endless referrals from me. He has my number if you'd like a voice to voice referral. If you choose to get multiple quotes, start with Stephen first. He's that impressive. read more

Look no further than Stephen Gall at Shades West. Before I found Shades West I had called Costco and another popular company. Both quotes were double the cost of the shades I received from Shades West for the same high quality blind. Price aside, Stephen at Shades West is helpful, patient and professional. He has excellent follow through, arrived on time for our appointments and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He had excellent recommendations on what would work best in our oversized kitchen window and he was right. Our kitchen looks amazing, the shade is gorgeous and makes the entire room look great. Thanks Stephen! read more

This is not for service that I received. I never used this company. I made an appointment via text after getting contact through yelp. Owner was supposed to show up at 12pm on Saturday and never showed up. I texted him letting him know I'm on my way. Nothing. I waited and waited. No text, no call. Next day, he texted me saying he had a personal matter. I have the text messages so don't reply to my review with some BS. Next time, at least let people know that you can't make it, common courtesy. read more

For years, I had been thinking of putting a shade on my skylight as it shone directly on my bed in the morning. I called a couple of places and they said they do shades but not skylights. When I called Stephen he was so responsive and polite on the phone. He came very quickly and gave me a quote. We ordered the shade and waited a few weeks. When it arrived he came over and installed it in less than 30 minutes. His company is incredibly professional and he has a great caring personality. I would have no hesitation in recommending his business and product. Don't even look any further for shade stores as he is absolutely the best! read more

We had Shades West install motorized shades for several tall and wide windows and french doors in our house a few months ago and we have been quite happy with our shades since installation. The project was not an easy one given a few technical matters which were not foreseen at the beginning. As with every first time homeowner, making time sensitive choices with an exhausted budget can be overwhelming. I wasn't sure what I wanted for blinds. Needless to say, Lowe's was less than helpful as they shoved me over to a wall with "options" and I was told to "let them know what I decided." No No, that was not what I meant when I said "can someone assist me with more information on blinds." So I headed to my computer and found Shades West on Yelp. Stephen came the same day I called him with an abundance of choices for my indecisive nature. Stephen kept his patience to help me find the perfect blind option. He was fair in pricing and did a great installation with Andrew about 10 days later! These guys are the pros you want to work with for a seamless....painless...experience! read more

Stephen from Shades West is great. From the beginning to the end of the process, he was responsive, professional and just really nice. I highly recommend and would use him again. read more

Andrew is literally the best person for the job! I'm so happy with the skylight shades I had installed in our offices that I'm bringing them back right now to install shades in our private offices. He's well educated on the different types of shades/blinds that would be best suited for each window and the purpose it needs to serve. He's very attentive to the special requests the came with my installation. Highly recommend them for both home and business projects! As my company continues to grow I will continue to use their services because there is no better person for the job. Thank you again Andrew! Everyone in the office loves the new shades and I'll see you in the next week for the new installation! read more
