I had time to kill because I was in the same building at an appointment for my daughter. I thought…read more'wow!! A beauty salon!! Let me check out their hair products!! Perhaps I will purchase something!' So I went in. There was a young woman. I believe she said her name was Mariah. She does facials. I explained why I was there and politely asked if I could check out the beauty products. She said nothing to indicate that I couldn't but stayed in the room scrutinizing me the entire time. Granted, she probably feared that I would steal something. I asked about a product that wasn't priced and hastily she told me that she didn't know the price and couldn't sell anything because it wasn't her merchandise. I told her that I would leave because I knew I was making her uncomfortable. I decided I would purchase something that was priced and probably would have purchased the item I inquired about. I left. Guess what?!? This young woman made me, a customer willing to make a purchase, VERY uncomfortable. She should have explained, politely, mind you, from the beginning that she couldn't sell the merchandise to me! Mariah, had a very subtle but definitive undertone of impatience. Had I been able to make the purchase, I wouldn't be writing this review. This doesn't shine any light on this business for sure. Someone needs to speak to this young woman about proper etiquette pertaining to customer service. Hence, I will never set foot in this salon again, nor do I recommend anyone else do so. At least not while this young woman is there alone. It's a very tiny shop. She told me she was there cleaning. Well then, why open the shop? Not impressed!! Definitely NOT!! BAD vibe!!

Will never be back again. This was the haircut before my wedding and she completely dismissed my request to get a trim. Not to mention the fact that this womans daughter towed my car out of the open parking lot..not the kind of stress i needed the weekend before my wedding. I looked online to see who would take me the same day or at least the next day and I landed at the "Creative Touch Salon." Maureen is very professional hairstylist. She is patient and takes her time to understand your needs and the hairstyle you like. I have had several bad experiences with braids or extensions where the braids were too tight so I took them out the same night, the next day or within 3 days. I went to a different stylist prior to Maureen and although the ladies were very nice, the box braids were huge, not what I wanted and my head hurt so bad I had migraines and sores in my scalp that began to puss. I didn't last 4 days with them and took them out. I have had similar experiences with extensions too tight or they irritated my scalp, where my scalp was tender. Maureen took her time and she allowed me to express my concerns and questions. She explained the hair I needed to buy, and her technique for styling the hair. I didn't want to be a nag, but in my nervousness I asked a thousand questions and I had contacted her a few times about the style. However, she answered all my questions in stride without hesitation. Since I have been going, she always answers politely without getting upset with me. She is awesome. I love my hair and it is going on 4 weeks. I have washed and conditioned my hair, and it still looks wonderful. My hair is growing quickly so I will have to get this redone soon. I am so pleased. I have no sores, no irritation on my scalp, no dandruff, no migraines, I can easily wash my hair and scalp and I am so delighted I took a chance and went to this stylist. I also made a new friend. Maureen is absolutely wonderful.
