Let's just say Ms Beatriz, who is a young and BEAUTIFUL GOD FEARING SOUL, placed her hands on my head and performed a miracle. My hair had been breaking too because of chemical poisoning (arsenic) from the last stylist in Italy so I was terrified to have someone else do it. Long story short it was the softest my hair had been, almost like I'm now a baby again. I'm not Dominican and have more course hair but these ladies, all of them love what they do and your hair responds so well to that. I explained why I was there and politely asked if I could check out the beauty products. She said nothing to indicate that I couldn't but stayed in the room scrutinizing me the entire time. Granted, she probably feared that I would steal something. I asked about a product that wasn't priced and hastily she told me that she didn't know the price and couldn't sell anything because it wasn't her merchandise. I told her that I would leave because I knew I was making her uncomfortable. I decided I would purchase something that was priced and probably would have purchased the item I inquired about. I left. Guess what?!? This young woman made me, a customer willing to make a purchase, VERY uncomfortable. She should have explained, politely, mind you, from the beginning that she couldn't sell the merchandise to me! Mariah, had a very subtle but definitive undertone of impatience. Had I been able to make the purchase, I wouldn't be writing this review. This doesn't shine any light on this business for sure. Someone needs to speak to this young woman about proper etiquette pertaining to customer service. Hence, I will never set foot in this salon again, nor do I recommend anyone else do so. When she blow dried it and curled my hair - it looked awesome. Then i washed my hair and saw all the flaws. Ive never had a mullet before but it resembled a mullet. Long tail, choppy, un-evened layers. Took a while for my hair to be back to normal. Then i saw a friend who also randomly got a new haircut...i was surprised because she always had her hair perfect..
