This was the first time in 32 yrs that a hairdresser listened, heard me and followed what I wanted. Gwen is THE BEST!!! I got my hair done before going on vacation in October and it came out PERFECT! Gwen was so kind, conversation was easy and she SLAYED! With over 20 years experience, she is an expert color mix artist, she knew exactly how to get the color I was looking for (which was unavailable via book) I cut over 10 inches off so I was pretty nervous about it but it came out great!!! I didn't even cry, which usually always happens when I sacrifice any real length. The salon is right on the main strip of Goshen so easy to find, lots of parking nearby and very comfortable.

Long tail, choppy, un-evened layers. Took a while for my hair to be back to normal. Then i saw a friend who also randomly got a new haircut...i was surprised because she always had her hair perfect.. The long and short of it is the owner of the Salon told me in a voicemail a month later that they reviewed their camera footage and did not see anyone take my card out of my bag and then went on to tell me they no longer wanted me as a customer. As you can imagine, I was highly insulted and angry. I called the salon a few times after receiving this voicemail and never received a call back. The owner of this Salon is very young and obviously does not have business savvy. So unprofessional, the way she went about handling this situation. So, ladies, beware, and know you are just a money maker for them. There are many hair salons in Washingtonville and I found a Salon that is understanding to my needs and works for me. She is close to my age {58} and genuinely cares about her clients and doesn't have crazy music playing like the young thangs at Serenity and charges way less.

She never disappoints in the hairstyling department. I've gone from long to medium to short. I love every haircut she has given me. Like the way she colors my hair and does my waxing.
