I've been going to Soho in Chester for the last 15 years or so. Tabatha is my hairdresser and she is wonderful! We have great discussions when I get my hair done & I feel lucky to count Tabatha, not only as my hairdresser, but also as my friend. I get bored with the same hair color & cut all the time, so I often ask Tabatha for her advice. She's always spot on & makes me look beautiful! My true hair color is brown. Well, I was a redhead for a while (brownish red, but you definitely saw the red). I loved that & it made me feel exotic! These days I'm blonde & I think this is my favorite color! Tabatha mixes just the right color to make me feel good about myself & look great! My hair is short & needs to be cut often. I feel like a new woman after every visit to Soho. Tabatha is great about scheduling my hair appointments & has even "fit me in" sometimes when I was desperate for a hair cut. The other hairdressers are sweet & friendly when I go there, and the young women that wash my hair are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Trust me, you will not regret a visit to Soho. It's a great place & I always feel happy & look great when I leave there. read more

This is my second time visiting SoHo Salon in Chester. The first appointment was for my 8 year old daughter, and Mallory did such a fantastic job that I made myself an appointment for the following week. We each had our hair washed, cut , and blow dried and on both occasions everything came out perfect. Not only is the salon super clean and each member of their staff friendly, but the whole experience was very affordable. read more

I was heading up to my for the weekend . In desperation of trying to have a natural hair color on my head I did a walk in to the Soho salon in Chester. Tabatha took her time ,spoke to me and assessed my hair and made me feel confident that I wouldn't walk out of there looking like the freak I walked in like She is professional, easy to talk with and is definitely a master and what she does. Great apprenticeship program. I left due to the fact I got a chair at another salon as an entry hairstylist and I passed my bar so I took the opp when I could . Wendy ; is wonderful ( she was the one to convince me to go cosmo school , instead of working for fat burger when I lived in L.A when I was struggling to get by threw law school ( anyone in my situation it's defiantly worth it. ) . If you just graduated from a Cosmo program defiantly check this place out. It's a great foot into the door for other companies to hire you . If you live locally between Beacon ; and Fishkill it's a 10 to 15 minute drive to work . So you will not have to wake up crazy hours to drive. It's a small salon witch is good place to learn .Also they take student's whom have ; Temp licenses . read more

I went to Soho Salon II recently to get my hair colored. I was not happy with the color. I called to explain the next day and I was fit in immediately that same day. I love the young lady that does my hair and I don't think it was because she did not know what she was doing. She is an excellent stylist. I think she was more concerned with me not liking the color I actually asked for. I will continue to go to Soho because they offer excellent customer service. read more

I would not recommend .. I DONT recommend any you guys wanting to get rid of the Paulie Walnuts wings like I had ..I went for a simple salt and pepper (get rid of some the grays) instead I came out with brown dull hair and a brown bottom of my goatee .. I wound up shaving off my goatee.. This place made me look ridiculous.. read more

Decided to give a new place a try seeing as my hair stylist that I was going to moved down south and the other ladies in the salon are much older than she was so they like to stick to what they know. Well let's just say I wasn't disappointed with the change. The place is extremely clean and comforting. Nicole gave me my haircut but Nikki washed it. Let me just say Nikki does a nice job and I about fell asleep as she was washing my hair. Nicole was able to follow the style of cut that I have, it's a hybrid of two different styles that me and my last stylist meshed together. Prices are not bad seeing as you pay the stylist based on their experience. Everyone was quite friendly and oe of the other stylists complemented me on my cut. I like to do fun stuff and styles to my hair. Will definitely be going back. read more

Kudos to Susan!! Although a Senior Citizen, I am blessed with an abundance of hair. We were lucky to find Susan here after our move north. Susan is able to follow the natural flow of my hair to achieve a sophisticated executive look while retaining the curls and waves. She also styles for my wife and for the granddaughter....2 1/2 years young and a challenge to keep in the chair. Susan takes care of all of us. We all enjoy going to Soho and to Susan. read more

I can't begin to tell how great my experience was with the Soho Salon in Chester. I was getting married in one week and had everything set up for myself and the eight girls in my bridal party to have both hair and make up done. To make a long story short the salon I was booked with cancelled my appointments claiming she could not get the stylists to accommodate us on a Sunday morning. I called frantically and spoke to the manager of the salon and within one hour Lisa called me back and said she could make it happen. They opened the salon for me at 7:00 on that Sunday morning with 3 stylists that were off that day and did the most amazing job. Thank you to Nicole who's talents were so beyond my expectations. My hair and make up lasted until the next day. I have never felt more beautiful. Also thanks to Cara and Hillary who worked so hard to get us out on time an did a beautiful job on my bridal party. Not only did they go out of their way coming in on their day off but they also greeted us with breakfast and champagne. I would recommend this salon to everyone I know. I will definitely be going back for my next color and haircut. Thank you Soho for helping me out with a situation that could have ruined my wedding day. read more
