Why atmosphere food and service? Interesting that they are in a new development off the freeway heading to Mcallen. We decided to walk there on a Thursday night and saw that it was karaoke night. My fave! It looked like it once was a big warehouse because there was so much space. The outdoor patio was huge with lots of benches and inside also was huge with plenty of seating. They offered arcade games and pool tables which was fun. We got a couple margaritas and it was only $10! I put my name in for a couple songs and we sat and listened to others sing for a little while. The karaoke host was nice and he lets everyone sing 2 songs back to back which is unheard of for me lol but the crowd was very nice and responsive. We had a nice low key time. The chicken wing/taco combo is solid! Everything was very affordable and I think they have some type of music playing each night.

We have been here several time to listen to the live music from local performers. The food menu is typical of what you would find at an bar n grill. We have had a bacon wrapped hot dog and fries, chicken wings, and baked potato. Everything was good. We started ordering bottled beer the last few times we came since their draft beers seemed a little too hot for our liking. The service staff is young and very friendly. They seated us immediately. The best part about it! Is that the building itself is a part of the town's history. Come check it out, and learn some of Alamo's history.

Great atmosphere and the music was great too a mix of everything. Customer service was good over all. To begin with this place is pretty big its more of outdoor place, but they do have 2 little indoor rooms which is pretty cute. Which they have a table and some chairs. The Bar is in the middle of the place surround by several food trucks and tables and high tables also. Totally different from any place in Downtown night life. The food and drinks are a little exorbitant but its kind of worth it. Not gonna lie the food is delicious , though the only thing I've tasted are the Gorditas de pollo. Moreover they also have games which my friends and I played. One is Bag Toss and Jenga those are the only games we saw maybe they had other ones inside the indoor rooms. we'll have to go again to check. Furthermore if y'all are looking for a great time and chill place come try this place out its worth y'alls time.

Earlier in the evening, they don't play any music so you can chat uninterrupted, but later on, they do turn on music. It definitely didn't fit the vibe. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had reservations, but I'm sure you can walk in as well. We ordered the kimchi lamb frites to start. Most of the appetizers were not pregnancy friendly, so we opted for these. The lamb was pretty salty for my taste. The woods sauce was yummy though. Not too sure where the kimchi came in, because all I got was lamb in the frite. I ordered the roasted game hen as my main. Hubby got the lasagna. I was happy with my choice. It was a hearty soup. The grilled lemon was weird. Messy to squeeze since it's sitting in the soup. You can definitely taste the grill on the bok choy. It was a nice balance with the hen. I really enjoyed it. Since I couldn't have any alcohol, I ordered the ice cream sandwich for dessert. It's a vanilla ice cream between two cookies, with banana and nuts. It was perfect. Not too sweet and was a perfect finish. I ate it like a cake. Portion was large so I didn't finish it. Overall we had a lovely evening. Can't wait to go again :)

I cannot recommend this place more and next time we're in town we will definitely come back.

ATMOSPHERE: There are seats inside the hotel lobby as well as a dedicated area for the restaurant. Plenty of free parking in the adjacent garage. I thought the place felt historic and cozy, and I liked that it was not crowded or packed. FOOD: I got the honey sriracha "jumbo" wings. They were good, crispy and flavored nicely. They were not "jumbo" at all, they were just normal wings. I did like that they came with a bunch of fries, and you can ask for ranch on the side. I also ordered a bartender's choice cocktail - they currently do not have a cocktail menu. The drink was pretty standard. SERVICE: Really kind. The bartender gave me a ton of local recommendations for restaurants and places to see and was always available for requests. PRICE/VALUE: The place was a bit overpriced for me. The wings were $11 for 6 wings, and the drink was $11. There are other places in the area with better prices for the portions given. Overall, this isn't a "must-try" if in the area, but definitely still a solid option for dinner in a nice, historic-feeling setting.
