What a fun spot for locals to come to. We were initially drawn to this place because we're were staying across the street and could hear music coming from the other side. We decided to walk there on a Thursday night and saw that it was karaoke night. My fave! It looked like it once was a big warehouse because there was so much space. The outdoor patio was huge with lots of benches and inside also was huge with plenty of seating. They offered arcade games and pool tables which was fun. We got a couple margaritas and it was only $10! I put my name in for a couple songs and we sat and listened to others sing for a little while. The karaoke host was nice and he lets everyone sing 2 songs back to back which is unheard of for me lol but the crowd was very nice and responsive. We had a nice low key time. The chicken wing/taco combo is solid! Everything was very affordable and I think they have some type of music playing each night. read more

This is a large place with plenty of indoor, outdoor, or bar seating. It is a pet and kid friendly establishment. They have two Pool tables inside. We have been here several time to listen to the live music from local performers. The food menu is typical of what you would find at an bar n grill. We have had a bacon wrapped hot dog and fries, chicken wings, and baked potato. Everything was good. We started ordering bottled beer the last few times we came since their draft beers seemed a little too hot for our liking. The service staff is young and very friendly. They seated us immediately. The best part about it! Is that the building itself is a part of the town's history. Come check it out, and learn some of Alamo's history. read more

The reason for my low rating was because the kitchen sucked. It took forever to get our starter and then my husband got his food and was half way done eating before I got my food. The food was delicious but unacceptable that both meals didn't come out together. There were 5 other people in the restaurant other than myself and my husband. Don't think I will go back. read more

24 Taps, Full-Bar, Food! All of this in a relaxed indoor/outdoor setting. AlamoTown is getting a nice treat with this spot, the few food items that I did try were excellent. They have Yellow Rose IPA on tap, never in my life would I think that I'd say those word of my hometown. They close a little early, but do have quite a few huge TVs to catch a game. Pretty laid back atmosphere during the day. The food was very tasty. I had the onion rings, and the fried chicken sandwich which were delicious. I also tried the burger sliders and the garlic parmesan tenders which were also very good. I went a second time and the food was pretty consistent with freshness and taste. Well I heard nothing but good about this place and the first few reviews are 5 star , but we went there with a group of 8 people arrived at 500pm our food didn't start coming out until 615 7 people were eating , I asked about my order twice at 640 it still wasn't there I walked in to the kitchen and they wanted to know what I was doing there I said I've been here an hour and 40 minutes and I don't have my food , give me anything you have ready , I don't care what it is , I grew up working in Italian Restaurants in Chicago this would not have happened there , what did they do they ushered me to the register and wanted to know who the waitress was , they were trying to either blame her or find the ticket why would I lie about not getting my dinner , that's all they worried about who screwed up my order , finally I walked back to the table , 15 mins later they deliver the meal , it was ok , did they apologize NO ,did they try to make it right by offering to take the charge of my meal off the ticket NO , so even though I live here 6 months a year and it's literally two miles away I won't go back , if it was the last place n earth , read more

This place is different from your typical bar. It has an inside and outside feel since it has a patio. You can be in the building while enjoying the live music that is playing at the patio. It also has pool tables. Although, the drinks were bad. No alcohol in your drinks, all 10 ouncers, and all $6+. Food were big portions and not expensive. So disappointed in the drinks. read more

We were there for a performance this afternoon that was to be for 4:00 to 7:00. We had to get our own drinks, waitresses were scarce, we never had one come to our table. So we left at 5:00 to get something to eat somewhere else. The place was packed with fun winter Texans who aren't afraid to spend money. But there was not enough wait staff to take food orders or drinks from the bar. Seems to me if you have a group like that you would hire enough wait staff to handle the crowd and make money hand over fist. This was a bad fail on your part. We weren't the only ones who walked out early. We probably won't be back, Sorry, not sorry. read more
