Overall, the team did a great job. We hired them to do post construction clean up I. The empty house. There was fine dust everywhere. Paula, the manager, came out and did the original evaluation. She estimated it would take about 6-8 hours to wipe down walls, inside cabinets, etc. Paula was flexible with scheduling especially given the short notice and our move in date was a few days after Christmas. She kept me up to date on the cleaning crew. The crew arrived on time, was friendly and professional. We also, unexpectedly had a contractor show up to finish up a task. The cleaning crew worked around him. I had to leave on and off to take care of other things but the team did a great job overall. Whenever I did come back I saw them working. They finished in the mid afternoon while I was out. I did my inspection. Overall an excellent job but a few missed spots. Had I been there before they left I could have had them do those areas on the spot. Paula followed up that evening to ask how they did. I informed her that they missed a few spots in the master bathroom and baseboard along the stairs. She said she would send the crew back out the next afternoon to redo the areas. The next day, the crew arrived on time and cleaned those few spots. They were for maybe 25-30 minutes. They even redid some windows. Did they hire someone new? These good reviews do not seem plausible given my experience. I requested a deep cleaning and the estimated time was four hours I had two women spend about one hour. During that hour they took picture and talked on the phone. I know my apartment was messy. I find it disconcerting, I really needed help because of pain issues.. My experience was not only disappointing. It was degrading. Apparently having a messy apartment made me undeserving of fairness or honestly. I. I When they came in there were things on the floor and on counters. Some of it was cleaning supplies and equipment. Some of it was due to problems I am having because I have been in pain. At times standing and walking is difficult Spending the money for help is hard because I have been unable to pursue my regular work. t I respect the hard work housekeepers. I will always try to assist and always tip. They do not speak English so I told spoke with the owner. I told him I would be helping out. I planned to simply do what I could. It did not matter they spent time rubbing the outside of my cabinet and wiping the shower doors. It was not what I wanted because that was work I still can do. Much of the time they spent was taking pictures, talking on the phone and talking to each others. They left after one hour. Once they left I. They spent about one hour at my place. Some of the time they were actually taking pictures and talking on the phone. I do not want to write bad reviews. I know this is a small business owner who wants to get by and works hard. I hope by writing this they will learn a lesson .If your help does not want to do the work, do not do and a fraction and charge full price.. In the future I suggest they are clear and advise potential clients they do not like working with older people with mobility problems. Usually I feel rested in a clean, more orderly place when housekeepers leave. This time I felt humiliated and ripped off. In an effort to take extra sanitation precautions in a COVID Environment, I hired Vanessa's team to do a one-time deep clean of my new place. I was blown away. Simply the absolute best! I've had our apartment cleaned before by someone else and it was rather mediocre but I expected no one is going to actually deep clean the whole place. Having 3 toddlers in the home makes it pretty dirty on a regular basis and we haven't had professional cleaning in about 2 years. I wish I could say that my experience was as good as the other reviews. I chose this service based on the positive reviews and easy communication with Vanessa. I needed a deep cleaning of my 4 bedroom townhouse before moving in and Vanessa was the only one who actually came to assess the place, so I felt good about going with her service. I was given an afternoon window of time and the cleaners showed up later than expected, at 5:30. To her credit, Vanessa texted me a few times to assure me of their arrival. I was surprised to see that there were only 2 people. Granted the place was empty, but there were many surfaces to clean and the previous occupants had not cleaned before moving. I showed the scope of the work and the cleaner balked at cleaning the 2" wooden blinds telling me that I should use a service for cleaning blinds that would soak them to clean. These are not metal mini blinds and I had pointed them out during Vanessa's visit. A call to Vanessa remedied that misunderstanding and I left them to do their work. I got a call around 7:30 to let me know that they were almost done. When I arrived, I saw one of the cleaners cleaning the oven with no protection placed over my newly refinished floors. The surrounding floor was covered with black splashes. Upon cleaning the splashes, a few could not be removed. I immediately called Vanessa. After she spoke to the cleaner, she told me that none of the cleaning products used would leave dark spots and that the cleaner claimed that the spots had already been there. After a long back and forth between the 3 of us that went nowhere, the cleaners finished by throwing a bucket of cleaning solution on the newly refinished hardwood floor and mopped it up. I was really upset and had them leave. As we moved in the next day, I found all high and a few low surfaces untouched. I did not see anything that the cleaners could have used to elevate themselves, so surfaces such as high kitchen and closet shelves and the top of the fridge remained sticky and dusty. Larger areas like the mirrored closet doors, bathroom mirrors and bathtub/shower were properly cleaned, but I found the cleaners severely lacking in paying attention to the details. Light switch plates still showed fingerprints, the wooden blinds were still dirty, kitchen cabinet doors still showed collected dust and drips, the stove had been wiped, but still had so many oily dots that required scrubbing. With all the great reviews, I don't know what to make of this. Inexperienced workers? Too few workers for the job? Arriving too late in the day or being the last job of a long working day? read more
