Honestly, this is one of the most poorly managed parking garages I've encountered. I pay over $400 per month for a monthly parking pass, yet at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night during Fleet Weekend, I was told by the attendant at the booth that I could not enter the garage because parking was reserved for event attendees. The problem is that events seem to take place here almost every week, leaving monthly parkers wondering what exactly we're paying for. What makes the situation even more frustrating is watching other vehicles enter and exit the garage while I'm being denied entry. As a paying monthly customer, I should not have to find out at the entrance that I cannot access the parking I'm paying for. If events regularly affect access for monthly parkers, why isn't there advance communication? A weekly or monthly email notification would be a simple and reasonable way to inform customers of upcoming restrictions. At the very least, management should consider offering a credit for the month when paying customers are inconvenienced in this way. The lack of communication, organization, and consideration for monthly customers is unacceptable. Management needs to do a much better job of keeping customers informed and ensuring that monthly parkers receive the service they're paying for. read more

12/20/25 @ 20:30p - Toyota Tacoma Parking fee anywhere in the city will cost you "ALL" arms and legs! Initial $60 charge for event parking, however, if you decide to keep the car for overnight (regardless of car size) , there's an extra $38 fee due that you can either pay with a parking attendant (if any) or credit card upon exiting. Having said that, keep in mind, some parking spaces can be a bit tight so enter with caution. We took advantage of it by visiting all the holiday decors at surrounding hotels prior to exiting the following day! read more

We reserved a spot at this garage on Spothero. The garage was very convenient to where we were going. It was easy to find and easy to find a space. The spaces are a bit tight, but we made it work. We parked overnight and our car remained unharmed. They seem to have good security. I would park here again. read more

Nice clean well the garage, where the parking spots are reasonably sized. It is not like some of the others in the city where you can park, but it's hard to get out of your car after that. The prices were ridiculous though I ended up paying $45 and I was barely there for two hours. read more

A friend, who was also attending the St. Vincent concert at The Masonic, had a change of plans since her companion had to cancel. She asked if she could ride in with us and that we could park in the Masonic Garage since she had purchased the prepaid parking. We arrived at 6:30pm and our friend showed the prepaid bar code on her phone to the parking attendant and he handed me a receipt to be placed on the dash and we proceeded down to the 4th level to park. Since we were early, we decided to go across the street to the Fairmont and give our friend a tour since she has never been there. Having taken a City Guide tour of the Fairmont, I played tour guide. We then headed back to the Masonic at 7pm for a drink before the concert. After the concert and by the time we walked back to our car, the garage was partially empty. We followed the cars leading out and it took about 10 minutes to exit. I was concerned about exiting the garage and the potential delays and concert goers exiting the Masonic walk in front of the garage exit. But the delay was not long so I was pleased. A good parking option for events at The Masonic, but be aware that the special event price is $50. read more

In the past, from attending events, I dreaded driving and parking here. I remember, at certain events, it used to be valet parking which made leaving a long wait with fellow impatient drivers. Being here to watch a comedy performance next door, Live Nation sent me an offer to purchase prepaid parking here for $50.00, the going rate these days as I pay the same for Warriors' games near Chase Center. Just to be sure, I checked two alternative spots, learning a. church parking garage -$100 and b. hotel parking - $82.50. In a word, SOLD. Arriving at 7:20 pm for an 8 pm show, we drove down the ramp and I pulled the bar code from my phone for the ticket taker to scan. He handed me a paper ticket and instructed me to leave it on my dashboard after parking. He also told me to park on the 4th or 5th floors. Remembering the layout, I made a point to park on the 5th (lowest level) as they have a backdoor exit that leads to Pine Street. When I got there, it was less than half full and there was an attendant by the exit ramp. I rolled down my window and verbally confirmed from him that the exit would open at the conclusion of the show. In going to the Masonic, we took the elevator upstairs and followed signs in using their railed walkway to the street level. In leaving, given the crowd, we found the stairs and made our way to my car. We were out of the garage in less than three minutes and on our way home. I was truly happy to avoid the crowd and any line to leave here. I liked that the attendant was stationed there to both secure the vehicles as well as report to the ticket takers how full it was. If I return for an event or show, I would not hesitate to park here again. *** Yes, street parking is available within a few blocks if you time your arrival right. However, I weighed the risk of having my car broke into or vandalized versus a secured garage. Not worth the risk, given the City's crime situation. read more

Was looking for a garage for my car close to my apt because I am sick of all the car break-ins. In the end, I chose this garage for a number of reasons even though it came at a costly price of $500 a month: -This is so much more worth it because replacing broken car windows is such a headache and can get expensive. - they have an entrance and exit to Pine st. -24-7 security - can pay bill online or in person - friendly workers - not having to look for street parking for a long time esp when I get home late at night - peace of mind that my car is safe in a garage - open 24 hours The only con is that when they have events, it can get packed but I still am able to find parking for myself. If you want reserved parking, it's much more expensive and honestly you don't need it since there are a ton of parking spaces. read more

Worst garage ever. Was double charged (2, $60 charges) and an unhelpful and sassy employee said they didn't know how to complete a refund. Gave me business card to call a different guy in management and was told they couldn't help me with refund either. Save yourself and park elsewhere. read more

Came here for a Central Cee concert. The parking in person was only $10 more than preferred online. Great garage with ample parking, can be a little small for bigger cars... but is attached to the Masonic so it's a great option. Plus there's bathrooms! I'd park here again. read more

Parked here when staying a few nights at the intercontinental hotel. Prices are posted clearly and are some of the best prices in the area if you want to be nearby the hotels that surround this garage. There weren't too many spots available until about three levels deep when I stayed. There is a bathroom and the garage has a 24-hour guard. One staff member was very helpful, but another staff member wasn't too friendly. When I asked how to pay he did not even respond for a good minute and just stared at me as if I was asking something out of line which was very off-putting. They had a special for two nights (minimum) you can pay 76 dollars (so 38 per night) total and you get in and out privileges which we loved. They also had a great early bird special. I had bought pre-paid parking tickets for the Snoh Aalegra concert. You know SF so if I had not paid for parking I would have been walking blocks to the venue. The parking garage was alright. Nothing special about it but the parking spaces were terrible. Whomever created the layout did a horrible job. There were parking spaces facing almost every way you can think of and it looked like they just tried to fit as many cars as they can. The space in between were so tight that cars were almost touching each other side-by-side. Idk but not many cars are compact these days. And turning corners were tough because parking spaces were right next to the corners too. The only benefit was an exit to the street on the bottom fifth level so I didn't have to drive all the way back up to level one to get out in traffic. read more

Came here around 5 pm for the Erasure concert on a Sunday night. Two nice Cantonese speaking gents were manning the ticket station. $35 for event parking. Yikes! But he did say we could pay with credit card. Our friends and I were able to find parking along the wall right away. After the concert was a whole different story. There was no clear exit. We had to wait in what seemed like a cramped parking lot as some cars actually double parked. And I don't think it was the valet who did. It would have helped if there was someone directing traffic out as I was starting to feel claustrophobic sitting on the car, not moving, and what felt like I could reach out the car and touch the ceiling. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes, which seemed like an eternity to get out. We ended up exiting on the 5th floor, which was Pine St. It was through an alley. Strange. read more

The prices were clearly posted, we paid by credit card, there are rest rooms (I don't remember parking garages with rest rooms), there was an attendant available for any questions or problems, and everything was clearly marked. I'm one of those Yelpers who reads reviews all the time but rarely writes one. That said, I was finally motivated to write this one because I'm continually impressed with the team at this garage. I've been a monthly parker here for 6+ mos. and Costel (the manager) and his team are wonderful. They are so friendly--they smile and say hello every time I come and go. The garage is actively staffed and monitored with cameras and walk-around security 24/7, so I never feel unsafe. They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of--they've steam cleaned the garage twice since the COVID outbreak, they've made accommodations when my reserved spot was mistakenly taken (and ensured it ever happened again), and have helped me with small personal favors. It doesn't say anywhere on the mobile site that process may vary, but they do. Significantly. I had an event nearby so I went to check the price online, it was estimated to about $12. That seemed very reasonable so I parked there, but when I got back they charged me $38! I emailed the manager and he said the rate changes after a certain amount of time, but I can't find that pricing listed anywhere. They still can't tell me where it's posted. It's a nice garage, but customer service is a nightmare. I'd recommend parking somewhere where your total isn't a mystery multiplier. read more

I too am a discontent monthly parker. Any time there is a special event--including the current mid-October Masons convention--getting in and out of the overbooked, congested garage (that some of us have prepaid for) can be awful, and I really try to avoid using my car during these times. When I expressed my concern to a garage manager, he offered me instead a reserved space for another $100 a month--WRONG ANSWER! Total hell. I paid $38 for event parking and when I got there they said I had to pay ANOTHER $50. At that point, it took sooooo long just to get inside and I was already at the gate, there was absolutely nowhere to turn around. So, they had me by the balls. So I paid their gaw-dmn $50 and drove in to park. That's when it got really bad. Signs are terrible. Parking spaces would be great if in a Honda Fit or something puny, but even my Toyota corolla was too big. Every spot is so small, I could barely get out of my car. To get people into a seriously compromised position, stuck at their f'n gate with no way to turn around, say your PAID RESERVATION doesn't work, is a total SCAM. SCAM!!! I ended up paying over $88 for parking and even for San Francisco that's hideous. Piles of garbagey looking crap everywhere. Run by total scammers. This place sucks so hard they could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch. You scammer bas-tards. I will NEVER return. I bought prepaid parking for the Go-Go's concert on March 24, 2022. When we pulled up to the Masonic Parking Garage entrance some sketchy looking guy in a blue jacket told us the garage was full and to basically go away. When I tried to explain that we had prepaid parking he replied "What do you expect me to do about it?" WHAT?!! Meanwhile there was a San Francisco police officer standing in the background and doing nothing. The sketchy guy wouldn't budge so we drove on. I then told my friend driving to circle around the block and come back so that I could get a record of what was happening. When we pulled up the second time I had my phone camera out and when and only when he saw me recording did the police officer say we could go in. The sketchy guy tried to tell us that somebody had left so now we could go in (Bull....) the red light "full" sign was still on. Then when we advanced about fifty feet we encountered two attendants who said we can't come in because they were full. WHAT?!! Only after we stood our ground did they let us through. Once inside the garage the next attendants were nice enough and directed us to a place where we saw multiple empty parking spaces. Lastly, on the way up to the street we saw people in cars trying to enter the lot and being turned away. Needless to say we will never go back there again. Go-Go's were great but the parking garage situation is egregious. I have it on my phone and hope there is an honest investigation of this. Something really fishy going on here. read more

Parking your car in the city can be quite an ordeal, and that is why I love having a parking garage and especially because I live in Nob Hill. I mean, everyone knows that Nob Hill is probably one of the most difficult places to live and own a car in the city. I have the monthly pass, which is not cheap. But I do not mind the price because it helps me sleep at night, knowing that my car is being watched by the staff. The staff actually has a man posted on each floor of the garage throughout the night. The spaces are reasonably spaced out and it only gets crowded once every few months. I have had my car parked here for almost a year and I like that I feel safe. But there are always going to be bad drivers/parkers so I have been irriated with close parkers at times. Though the parking fee was a bit expensive, ($38 for less than 4 hours,) I cannot speak highly enough of the staff! I went to the Masonic last weekend for a comedy show & the parking staff did an excellent job of managing the flood of guests all while being super friendly & helpful. One gentleman even helped park me since the spot they'd directed me to was such a tight squeeze. I'm so bummed that I didn't have any cash on me at the time to tip him with! Really made me feel a lot better after such a stressful drive to get to SF that weekend. Keep up the good work! read more
