I also have a dash cam which shows me parking.. my own car at the spot he directed to. Drove in at around 12pm on a Tuesday.. Parked in many parking garage already in the past. Ticket at kiosk before entering structure. (Paper) Goes in and one of the works points at a spot so I park into it. He asked me to give him my ticket (the one from the kiosk). Then he says "leave the keys in the car" so I get out and say "ok is that it?" He goes "how long are you going to park here? me: 20-40 mins" And hes like ok go so I leave. I get back and try to pay for the parking and the guy asked for my ticket receipt. Well I don't have it because I never got one.. And so charged max price for the ticket 25$ for like 45 minutes.. Back and forth with cashier "How did you not get a ticket we wouldn't have parked your car otherwise?" Well its so strange.. because I parked the car... and I left the keys in the car when the guy asked me to. The ticket receipt is also a massive card thats thick I definitely did not get one.. How can I get a 25$ charge when they have when I entered. Look at the enter and paid time.. It's a piece of paper too not some fob or keycard that's magnetic so it would make sense to charge the max. What kind of parking garage has a system where a person is responsible for even giving you a charge receipt when every OTHER garage in just takes a ticket and that's the thing you pay to get out with. Maybe just a SF thing.. But here we have a ticket at the kiosk to then hand to someone else to give you a separate ticket??? TLDR Just use any other parking garage in the finical district.. Or I guess make sure you get the ticket. Also there are no instructions for this place which I guess is a no brainer what kind of parking garage has a system like this that would require instructions.

I have a pretty tiny sedan and it filled out that parking space. The part that had me a little frazzled is that the locations pedestrians are supposed to walk, exit, and pay are not well defined. I was carrying my child and didn't want to run the gauntlet out of the narrow car entrance, but after finding me wandering around the garage, a resident let me into the private elevator to get to the ground floor. It's also hard to find a way back in to get your car. If you manage to get back in by an unofficial route (like I did), you'll miss the payment machines, but never fear: the machine at the wigwag will also accept card payment* as you exit. *$18 for just over an hour. Ouch!

The valet attendants treat the cars with care and respect. You come in, let them know approximately what time you will return, and the car will usually be waiting for you on the main floor where you hop in and go. I recently got a new car, and switched to a monthly parking arrangement. As I only come in 4 days a week, the cost was not the main benefit, but the flexibility on time is much better! Normal hours for the automatic gate are 0600 - 2000 and sometimes a late night at work has made me go get the car and find other parking. Not now! With monthly you have 24 hour access, and its convenient enough to BART that I would park here for an out of town business meeting. I would park my vehicle here, and recommend it to others. 168 Beale is the vehicle entrance. The building you go in is at 199 Freemont.
