Ok, I'm only going by what I see, and those are results. My Yelp peeps, you know I've been a hard-ass lately when it comes to giving out compliments. I mean, the world is going downhill these days! But here, I actually see and feel a difference! My stomach looks so much nicer, after just 3 sessions! And by the way, I usually keep my personal care activities private, but in this case, it's for the good for everyone to have this knowledge. (But FYI, I won't be posting photos!) My stomach has always been a problem area for various reasons, and I've tried just about everything you can do to make it flatter and smoother. I had discovered Ultrasonic Cavitation pre-Covid in Brazil, and I at the time, I really loved the results. I wasn't around for long enough to keep going with it. Well it's been over a year and a half, and lots of changes post-Covid (of which I'll spare the details), and I wanted to try Cavitation again. So I found SF Fat Loss on Groupon and reached out. Sandi advised that it's the strongest treatment she has for smoothing. [And I don't want to frown on anybody, but I had found another place in San Leandro and called about it, but they had NO idea about what Cavitation did...and they were offering it on Groupon! So your girl wasn't about to cross the bridge for that] Well, I don't know the science behind Ultrasonic Cavitation either. But I can only say that the results I saw were immediate, and when I went back for session #2, we did a double session of lower and upper, and I definitely felt my stomach being softer and smoother right away. A couple of things to know: -One "session" is one area. So your lower stomach is an area, your upper stomach is one area, etc. More areas are more sessions. -You are supposed to drink a LOT of water following your sessions. Apparently that helps the Lymphatic session drain those fat cells. Or something like that. -If you live in the city, SF Fat Loss in San Mateo is a little further out, but she doesn't offer cavitation in SF. But it's worth it! Very disappointing customer service from Sandi. I first heard of SF FatLoss on Groupon back in October where I did 6 sessions of lip lite. Sandi was gave me the Groupon price and a better deal I suppose. I do feel like these lasers work although it seems a bit gimmicky So would I recommend the laser lipo? Yes definitely, I think worth to try. I did it on my belly and definitely helps get rid of any stubborn fat. But do I recommend Sandi? Honestly, not sure. Something about her is off, I honestly think the way she talks to her customers comes off a bit condescending. She's also a bit disorganized and tends to overbook. She is also comes off very passive aggressive and even a bit rude honestly. I don't get feelings of warmth from her honestly, but I really believe in the lasers and think they're worthwhile. The doctor/her husband is great though. After reading other reviews, I see that I'm not the only one that saw this in Sandi too. I was recently gifted the Groupon again, so I sent an inquiry for Friday availability in San Mateo. But honestly, the interaction we had via text was just unpleasant. She put the "!" Emphasis on some of the messages she said, when literally I was just asking a question and trying to get some clarity. It's almost like she just wants to be quick and have you in and out, no relationship building with any of her clients. She should also just update her website then if she doesn't want people asking questions about hours because it says she's open on Fridays, apparently she's not open on weekends or Fridays, but according to her website she is. Her business feels like she's just in it for the money and doesn't care about clients, so if you want to support a business like that go for it. Well..... =/ I really hate to leave this review but I feel like you should know what you're getting into before scheduling with Sandi. My 1 star review was based on my interactions with Sandi. This was my first time going to anything like this and I was hoping to be informed and comforted on what was happening. I didn't get that at all. She actually made me feel like an idiot for asking questions, so I just stopped asking and googled any questions I had. Example: Me: What's the difference between the lipo light and the ultrasonic cavitation? Sandi: the light opens the doors and the ultrasonic destroys it. Me: I don't understand what that means. Sandi: The light opens. OPENS. like opening a door. you know how a door opens right? I did the ultrasonic cavitation which is most definitely a different experience. You get jelly put on your stomach, then this ultrasound thing was being moved around on my belly. It felt warm, sometimes stung, and this weird buzzing noise vibrates into your head that no one else can hear but yourself. Me: whoa, what is this that I'm feeling right now? Sandi: i don't know what you're feeling because I'm not you. I've never done this procedure on myself before because I would never want to damage my body like that. Ummmmmmmmm okay. you tell me that AS you're doing the procedure on me.. Another interaction: Sandi: what are we doing on you today? Me: last appointment you mentioned that we should do the lower belly Sandi: I have a lot of clients okay? I don't remember what I say to each of my clients. Another interaction: An African amrican lady walks in, Sandi checks her in and lays her down on the other side of the office. She comes back to me and says "Wow she really smelled like weed. But I'd rather her smell like weed than armpit." Sandi overbooks and ends up getting off schedule. She seems too busy to really build a real client relationship or offer any meaningful advice. She seems to be constantly scrambling to keep up with everything she has going on, even though you have to schedule these appointments. As far as the procedure itself goes? A+ After 3 weeks of ultrasonic cavitation and lipoLite (and diet and exercise), I lost 1.5 inches around my lower belly. Husband-wife chiropracter/nutritionist consultant team. Both are really down to earth and relatable. I came here on a Groupon on a Saturday and Sandy was slammed with clients. Even though my Groupon was only to receive the lipo lite treatment for two areas, my initial treatment hit multiple areas including inner thighs, tummy, love handles, and triceps. The experience itself is pretty relaxing - you just lie on a cot for 10-15 minutes and just feel warm in the areas where the pads are. Second step is to get on a machine that shakes your entire body super fast to help with circulation. I can't say that I really saw any results after my first session and a big part of me doubts that this type of treatment actually works or has long term results. Given the price tag associated with it, I decided it's probably not the right type of service for me, but I think it could definitely be very valuable for others to try out. read more

I'm in disbelief to see some negative reviews as I have nothing but good things to say about Sandy at SF Fat Loss and while being there have also witnessed great interactions with her other clients! Sooooo.....where do I start! I first learned about SF Fat Loss through a Facebook add which had a promotional offer. I went ahead and called to book an appointment. The drive there was pleasant and once I arrived it was better than I had anticipated it being. I was greeted by Sandi who was just in so little words, welcoming, knowledgeable, answered every question I had and was very approachable and overall it was a very relaxing and soothing experience . I was skeptical at first but for my first visit I did the Lipo Laser to the belly area-and wowwwww to my surprise I had lost 1 inch off the mid section. I have to be honest, I was very skeptical about Lipo Light. I saw it on Groupon years ago, but never got it, because I didn't believe it couldn't work. I only came in to try it myself when I saw a lot of the high reviews on Yelp. Don't expect drastic changes in your body after even 6 sessions. This is not liposuction. I would say you should see a visible difference in the areas that were treated after 4 sessions. After 6 sessions and following Sandi's diet recommendations I lost about an inch in circumference (2 weeks). I would say that is still pretty awesome for something that requires zero effort, no pain, and only 6 visits. I wouldn't recommend this treatment for major weight loss. Nothing makes you lose fat faster than a good diet and exercise. When you get down to your desired weight however, I would highly recommend using Lipo Light to get rid of the little fat that is left in the stubborn places like your belly. Then maybe for maintenance come back in a few months, if needed? I am coming back for more sessions myself. I wouldn't do more than 18 sessions. If you need more than that, you need to lose weight the more conventional way with a better diet and exercise before you start something like this. Even if Lipo Light would help it just wouldn't be practical. read more

I believe I bought the 5 session pack on Groupon, and after 4 sessions I saw absolutely no difference it was such a waste of money I didn't go back for the last one. I definitely don't recommend doing this, even if you do see results they don't last because all it's doing is shrinking your fat cells and then they'll go right back to normal. Not to mention the woman Sandy who runs it is very passive aggressive and rude honestly. She just happened to mention to me how smoking will make you gain weight and all this random shit when I never mentioned I smoked to her, which I don't, like okay that's great advice for someone who smokes? On Groupon, I found a 3 session deal; three laser lipo facial lift. I purchased it and called the same day to set up an appointment. I first had a consultation where I spoke to Dr. Sandi Rocco and she was very compassionate and realistic with what I wanted to be done. I received three facial session once a week, my trouble area was my chin, I somewhat HAD a double chin before seeing Dr. Sandi Rocco (keep in mind I'm a young, 20 something, Black woman). The sessions last about 25-30 minute, and you just lay on your back with the lights on your problem areas, I will admit I was little be skeptical with the procedure being done and having it actually work. Once it was over, I went to class, work, etc and the last place I went to was the gym. At the gym that's when I noticed after the FIRST TREATMENT was working. I normally don't sweat from face ever when working out, but after doing cardio for about 20 minutes I was sweating so much from my face, it was unbelievable. I can't really tell a difference probably because I see myself everyday but Sandi took my before and after measurements and I lost a total of 4 inches combined areas. It's also important to follow her diet recommendations, which I should have but didn't which can also be why I didn't notice much of a difference. I did lose 3 pounds though. I used a Groupon for three fat loss sessions and overall I would not recommend the service to others except for the rare situations where you want improve your appearance (or get into that dress!) for a day or two. 1. Their website is too aggressive in procedural effects. If you look at the type of light therapy they provide and compare it to clinical trials, their claims on fat loss are atypical and just too aggressive. 2. If you consume more calories then your metabolic rate+exercise consumes for even a single day, you will refill your depleted fat cells and look like you did before your first visit. 3. Scheduling was a problem as there was only two days a week to choose from with very few slots to choose from. On a positive note: 1. I thought the staff was kind and courteous 2. She was gesturing with her hands saying " you sit here under a light with these goggles and it lifts your face" making gestures as if I didn't understand English. She said it's not but because of movement it will keep wrinkling. She talk to me as if I was disabled in a way that I didn't know English or couldn't comprehend. He's not pushy and he makes you very aware of consequences you'll have if you don't start now to make a change if your going in to make a total change as far as dieting and making better choices. He also stated whether you decide to go with his package he offers or not take the information and do something with it. He vouches for mother's and does it for moms who want to get back their life. It was such a great experience and I was so surprised that I lost inches off my thighs! Honestly, I was expecting to lose maybe an inch off my thighs but when I got measured yesterday I lost an inch and a half. I think I lost maybe another inch today! It sounds like I'm making it up but if you have big thighs, you can tell when your thighs rub against each other. Growing up, I had such a hard time losing the fat on my thighs.
