SF EZ Moving made moving 100% easy. Exceeded expectations and the movers were A++. The team made two stops to pick up furniture in the Hayward area. They were on time and quick to get to work. In regards to care, it was their top priority to make sure all expensive furniture and electronics were delecately handled. They wrapped and padded a lot of items, and in some cases wrapped things I wouldn't have wrapped myself. Definitely top notch care all around. The execution of the move went flawless as well. The 3 movers all got straight into work without really taking any breaks. I actually let them know that they could slow down for a water break, which they did with a quick swig of water then right back at in seconds later. Talk about dedication to the job. Pricing was on point and very fair. I would say that you should take into consideration of how easy they are making the move when considering a tip. I hope I was generous to these guys in my tip given that they saved me from a pulled back, muscle pain, and overall the headache of moving. I and my family recently had to hire moving service to move many boxes and some furniture across the city. We checked multiple moving services and decided to get service from EZ Moving because they were available to help us sooner than others. It is my first time hiring their help and I and my parents are very happy. I like that I was able to reach the scheduling person at any time directly. They were very accommodating and easy to talk to. We hired 3 persons to move our things. They were there on time sharp, the furniture truck was huge and could fit even more than we expected. The guys who did the moving were nice and polite. They had all the needed equipment like the safety belts, straps, protective materials to make sure nothing gets scratched, boxes, dollies, wrapping tape, and I don't know what else. They were clearly experienced at doing this and did everything quickly and carefully. They didn't try to do it slow or anything like that. They then moved everything into the new apartment as professionally as they were when they picked it up. We told them where we wanted it, no problem. No loud noise. All nice and super professional. All the crew member were easy going, only things it's they barely speak English, but it is okay then I guess! 1 of the young guy was good to get a conversation! I can't speak to all the movers this company may have but I would not hire the 2 men that came to help us move. Moving is already such a stressful event as it is and I had big hopes that the movers would relieve us from some stress and heavy lifting. No dice. It's our first time hiring movers as we've done all our moves by ourselves in the past. But since there's stairs involved, it was important for us that we hire professionals with more muscles and skill than us. What bothered me the most was they only halfway plastic wrapped our items (never saw them use quilts or blankets to protect anything), they were rough with moving our favorite TV armoire (1 guy pushing and shoving it alone without the help of his partner), and they were literally grunting, huffing/puffing LOUDLY the ENTIRE TIME... Actually it was mostly the older gentleman that was grunting loudly and he was even rude to my husband. Overall I felt this (older) guy made it very clear to express extreme discomfort in doing a job we hired him to do. The constant loud grunting was so uncomfortable that my husband offered to help. We are just happy that nothing broke and nothing was damage. I wanted to give them a minimal tip but they had the audacity to ask for more(?!). I should also mention that through my communication with the owner in inquiring for an estimate, I should have provided a better or detailed description of the king and queen size beds that we needed to move. It was always our intent to save only the super large and heavy items for professionals to move and I guess I should've been more clear in describing how heavy these items are. Perhaps with a clearer description, they would've brought over their stronger/more experienced movers to help move? IDK. Rookie mistake on my part as we've never hired movers before. read more

As far as the handling of my items things were fine. They wrapped my furniture well and nothing was damaged. It did however unexpectedly take them 9 hours to move me from my 1 bedroom apartment in soma (loading dock and elevator) to my 1 bedroom apartment in north beach (no loading dock and stairs only). So the move plus tip was more than $1200. Just be aware you will also be paying them through their lunch break. read more

SF EZ moving was very good with moving my apartment. They arrived on time (they actually were waiting on me a couple minutes as picking my keys up took longer than expected). They were very fast and efficient. Moved my stuff out and into my new apartment in 3 hours despite having some hiccups once we arrived at the new building. (Not the fault of the movers. I was under the impression the elevator associated with the loading dock could be reserved so that the guys wouldn't have to wait, but apparently that was incorrect. Also the loading dock was pretty far from my actual apartment which I was also unaware of. Despite that the guys got it done within the time frame which I even told them if it takes longer I'll pay the difference since these were my errors). The two guys moving were very friendly and they're a good deal cheaper than all the other places I called. Overall, I would highly recommend. read more

While they did show up on time and ready to move they were anything from professional. We have moved a lot in the past years living in the Bay Area and have used a few different movers over the years and this was by far the WORST! Most movers will immediately put out a runner in the entryway they did not. I confirmed with them several times that would have the items to move some fragile art and mirror they did not come prepared with anything other than plastic wrap. Oh and the plastic wrap they tell you one free roll we have NEVER gone through one roll moving our one bedroom apt. Well they tried to wrap everything in plastic even boxes to go through more so you have to pay for more.... I also told them prior to the move that we had some lamps that will need packaging to please bring boxes and paper. They didn't they wrapped the lamp in plastic and placed the vintage shade inside a box unprotected which caused damage to the shade. We had to stop them several times from possibly breaking our fragile items asking them to please be more gentle which their response was don't worry we are professionals... NOPE NOPE NOPE! One of the movers kept complaining and grunting while moving our stuff and at the end of the move we had to start moving our own items just to get the job done. Finally after 6 hours of moving a one bedroom apartment we paid them in cash liked ask and proceeded to provide a $20 tip per person even though they did a horrible job. One of the movers started to argue with me that the tip wasn't enough and they needed a minimum of $20 an hour tip. They said we must pay $180 tip that is what we owe them. I proceeded to explain that tips are gratuitous and it is up to the person who is being provided the service to determine how much tip to provide and that I was being overly generous as it was with what we had to deal with. I then asked them to leave. There are many choices for movers out there and this one is not one of them. Pay a little extra and get peace of mind and not people that argue with you. read more

I needed a mover with a short notices and i reached out to SF EZ Moving. Tharus was patient, attentive and responsive to all my queries and she asked all the appropriate questions to make sure i got the right estimate with no hidden fees/extra fees. After a verbal quote, she would then come down with the manager to assess the site in order to give a more appropriate estimate all in very short notice. The movers were on time, they were able to communicate about their plan of moving my stuffs. They would pack any items that were left behind and they were fast in moving my stuff from level 5 of my apartment to the truck. They were quick to reach the drop off location. Upon entering the drop off location, they laid a red carpet to prevent any damage to the flooring and they started unloading all the stuff including heavy furniture. None of the workers complaned about going down a couple of steps and they were really hardworking. They were done unloading within an hour or so before I and they ensured they did not leave anything behind in the truck. Overall, they did an excellent job. Very pleased with this company that I selected for a short notice move from random Craigslist ad. My stuff was mostly "packed" but there were a lot of small boxes and garbage bags which they professionally wrapped together to make full cart loads.
