A part of my decision was based on the fact that Skyline is big enough but not ginormous. I know where all the buildings are and I don't have to go to another campus. If you're proactive and seek out services, Skyline has a lot of services to offer their student. I'm very happy that I decided to go here and am extremely lucky to have two phenomenal professors this semester. Obviously every college has room for improvement but overall I'm happy here. And on the upside they're building another building and more parking. Sometimes parking can be a little tough but nothing ridiculous.. as in trying to find parking in SF would be more challenging..

Meaning you'll find a different crowd here and as a most stem focused major it's not quite my jam. They are building new areas but some of the current buildings look like they are getting outdated and of course the weather is cold and misty, as is expected in the area. Overall the cafeteria is small line moves fast but the girl working, while nice, doesn't speak English and doesn't understand either so when I ask her questions outside the most basic English she can't understand what I'm saying. That is super frustrating and idt you should be working here if you cannot communicate to people. Interestingly enough I feel like their bookstore is quite nice. Canada CSM and Skyline all offer different things and I noticed CSM has not stocked a lot of supplies that can be found at skyline. CSM does have those interesting pens no one else has and Canada has the study aids and more art supplies and gear. Maybe I will have a more favorable score after I take Micro here for my last semester but not as good at CSM or Canada in my opinion

We tried a free art class here and I got to sit in the class. The teacher was very patient and taught her to first draw each line curve etc then they used oil pastels to color, next they used water paint to paint, then they used clay to make dirt. Our trial class is the excavator picture you see. We were very amazed at how much she learned in that one session. We enrolled her immediately. There are multiple make up sessions throughout the week if you need to miss your regularly scheduled class for vacation etc and option to do one on one make up class as last resort as well. We love the staff here and know she'll be in good hands and learn more of her passion here. There's multiple classes going on at the same time based on different art class levels. I've seen kids make sushi with different color clays etc and I've seen kids sketching when I'm pick up or dropping off my daughter so there's definitely lots to learn. I can see why happy Picasso is so popular around here after trying it out myself. When my daughter turns 7 and if she's interested, they also offer digital art class which will be useful for her in the future as well. Teachers here are very patient with the students.
