Okay to start, the employees are insanely rude. I simply asked how much something was and I was receiving snark. When it came to the part of nail prep I was being cut and buzzed on my skin to the point where I have scars. My acrylics look HORRIBLE. Their uneven, crooked and the paint job is terrible. I asked the man who was doing my nails kindly if he could be a bit more gentle he yelled at me and said "I'm doing the best I can these look great"... No sir they look terrible and he called a "bitch". My nails are terribly shaped. I asked for coffin tip nails and they are nowhere near coffin style. if I could I'd give a 0-star review. For starters I never had acrylics done so horribly. I have been getting them done for over 5 years and this was my first time I was unsatisfied. To be quite honest this salon does not deserve even 1 star. One of the women that was doing my acrylic nails did my nails so horribly like a blind person did it..I never had such disappointment in someone. When she was done doing my nails (before she put the colour on) I told her I did not like it one bit and it looked like a 2 year old did my nails. She got very upset and said "I took my time with you and thought I did a very good job" WELL honey you thought wrong.... When she was drilling it off she burnt me and her and another nail tech was laughing at me when I said ow. That ladies personality was disgusting. I hope they never let her do nails again! This salon is horrible. Never been so disappointed in a nail salon. The pictures I posted below was when she was done and was "ready" to apply shellac. read more

I found this place online since I was looking for somewhere that did chrome nails. Because the place was in a strip mall, it was a bit tricky to find. I was pretty excited for my nails though so I was feeling open minded. As I walked in I could see it was not very busy. There were about 6 or 7 staff working and absolutely no English was spoken. (Important- I had made an appointment at 4:30) I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment and sat waiting for almost 45 minutes before anyone gave me a spot. There were other clients getting upset with the customer service as well since they were waiting awhile. When I finally started getting my nails done, it was about 5:50-6. The man I had simply buffed and filed my nails- that was it.. took about maybe 5 minutes.. a little disappointed. He then showed me the colours for the chrome. Pretty good. (Also to mention- the guy doing my nails had really dry and cracked hands and nails.. so to have my hand on his was a bit uncomfortable). He completed the nails and they had lots of paint on the sides on my fingers. He would've left it if I didn't ask him to remove it. A couple more things that I didn't really like: I used the washroom and passed by an open room where I got a flash of a woman getting her bikini line waxed! Really shocked that the door was open. Also I paid $30 for my manicure (no extra for the chrome) but I was just surprised because the manicure was actually pretty bad. read more

So, I was feeling kind of crappy and I wanted to rejuvenate my hands and feet and I thought why not go to a place in Scarborough and this is where I went. Not aesthetically pleasing but I was immediately greeted and a girl named Cherry helped me. My god was she amazing. I did a mani and pedi but I can't wear nail polish on my hands so there was nothing magical to it but I feel so clean and nice. By far the best in terms of getting nitty and gritty with my hands and feet. TOTALLY recommend! read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! I just had my nails done here because my regular place is closed on Sunday's and I really wish I had just waited. I had a manicure done ($15) as well as a full set of biogel ($40). My nails are crooked, it looks as though a toddler painted them, my cuticles look worse than they did before I walked in and after two different people tried to fix my nails I left with three fingers all cut up and painful!! I also brought my mother to treat her to a manicure and full set of nails with shellac colour and again, the paint job is awful! It's clumpy and bumpy and just plain horrific. The only thing they offered me was to comp the cost of the manicure! This nasty job wasn't even worth a $5 pitty payment. If this experience wasn't enough, three other customers aside from me were extremely dissatisfied with the service they got. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this hole! read more

Worst nail salon ever ! I went got acrylics done it broke the next day so i went back let them know they did not care and so instead i just did shellac on my own nails and after two days the shellac is coming off . I have gotten shellac multiple times every other salon and it lasted me 3/2 weeks ! Horrible products they use . The asian lady i dont know if shes the owner but she does not know how to do shellac at all! Dont go here guys!!! Horrible horrible nail salon . Waste of money guys! Went here for the first time today. Got an acrylic set coffin style, was 20$ before choosing a nail colour. 5$ for colour, 5$ for matte(i found this to be odd because matte is usually free or 2.50$ extra). They were quick i didn't have to wait around to get seated, the location looked clean and was open instead of being a small and squished space. The gentleman who took me was really gentle with my hands, which i appreciated because a lot of salons just twist your fingers as they do the nails.. One thing i didnt like is how much the guy rushed on the shaping because they were closing at 8 and i was taken at 7.20. But on a positive note my nail touched something when drying and they fixed it no problem when it was already after 8. Not a bad experience for the price(30$). Considering the fill is 10$&+ up i'll probably go back... My regular place charges 35 for acrylic and 25 for a fill, so this is more cost effective and i think they did a better job overall at Sexy Nails. One of the most painless waxing experience I've ever had. The lady who owns the place (linda) took me in for a drop-in eyebrow, arms, legs and armpits waxing. I thought that was pretty convenient. I also love the eyebrow shape she gave me (although she did not exactly discuss the shape). She even gave a complimentary bikini ! She has 10+ years of experience in doing this. Now I have mixed feelings about this coming one, but she also waxed my wrists and feet for free, which they apparently usually charge for separately. I, of course, appreciated the offer, but it is a bummer that I would have to pay extra for those next time. I'd rather do them myself or find another place that does the whole thing. I might as well mention that hair on my fingers was almost the same way it was before the waxing! I will however come back if I needed eyebrow shaping. They are not that pricy. Cons: -huge language barrier. She had to push me around instead of telling me. -privacy: when I first came in I had to speak with her son. I only told him about the eyebrows and leave the rest as a surprise decision to my waxer. -the door had no lock and the room was right in front of the washroom. I have visited your salon for pedicures over the last several years and until today I've never had any issues. The man who did my pedicure not only muttered to himself the entire time, but ignored me when I told him with my ingrowns they're better pulled out than snipped and dug our as they're long and deep. He proceeded to dig til I wanted to kick him in the face (I didn't- he's lucky ). He finally asked as he was jamming the tool in my nail bed - you never have this done before? I told him every month. He is rude and doesn't care that I'm physically attached and am a human being with feelings. Instead of asking for a leg/foot said 'gimme'. Scrubbed the top of my feet until he broke skin and only figured that the front of my legs needed the leg scrub and cream... the backs of my legs didn't need that nice massage that comes with a pedi. Puts polish on about as well as a 10 yr old... didn't do the tip like EVERY technician does ..WITHOUT toe separators. When I asked for the paper slippers not my own sandals - I don't like to rip them apart. He almost refused... until I started to yell and say I would just walk across their filthy floor. Have an excuse that the polish would be ruined. Then you should have put them on BEFORE the polish - like every other technician. Unfortunately, this man has made a SOLID decision that I will never return to your salon and I will tell ALL of my patients and friends who come here to never return if this is what's acceptable here. read more

I was just there. 2 different women had multiple children in there yelling and screaming. Hitting my chair as they ran by. The one lady had some young man working on one hand while she worked on the other. As if I want my nails to look different on each hand!!! They couldn't even do a simple heart design or flower.
