Sexy Nails & Spa - Store front - Nail Technicians Near Me - Abilene, Texas

Sorry for the judgment, but being that I was passing through and had never been to Abilene I was not expecting this random salon visit to be as stellar as it was. I was staying at a hotel across the way and my eyes lit up when I realized I could relax and get a much needed convenient mani/pedi before continuing on my journey back home to El Paso. Wii started on my deluxe pedicure ($45). I don't think he's actually a nail tech, but did great. Ivy finished the paint job and did an amazing job on both my pedicure and dipped manicure with small acrylic tip ($40). They both paid close attention to detail and didn't rush. I'm so happy! I may be biased, but Ivy did say she moved from Cali...soooo maybe that's why she was so good too. Cali stand up!!! A lot of the other techs were scoping out her work, so I'm thinking she's one of the best. We know what's up lol. Drinks were offered and the kindness was top notch. Also nice that they both spoke English (not a requirement), so I enjoyed the conversation as well. If you live here, look no more. If you're visiting, rest assured. If I'm ever back in Abilene in need of some TLC...this is where me and my daughters are coming. read more

Had a great time, everyone was super nice and welcoming. My nail tech was fantastic, her attention to detail was much appropriated. I got my nails and eyebrows done, I will definitely be back. read more

I'll give them two starts because they did a decent job on my daughters, but mine look like globes, they aren't shapes evenly, the original color I wanted wasn't good so they made me change it to Gel, which wasn't my fault but they didn't say it was extra so I had to pay more for something I didn't even like. Will not be returning read more

First time I went the guy was rude and seemed quite put out. The nails were okay except for one pinky nail which was blatantly crooked. They were not shaped well or at least as requested. I thought maybe he was having a bad day, gave them a second attempt. Different person this time, but quality was worse than first time. Again, one pinky nail is crooked, the nails have indentations on every nail. They are not shaped well on one hand, corners are sharp and not at all what I was asking for and 3 nails were actually glued to my skin. All this took over 2 hours to accomplish! I dared not correct woman (possibly named Anna) doing nails for fear I would extend my length of stay by another 2 hours and besides having an event to attend, I didn't want to spend ALL day Saturday at a nail salon! The language barrier is awful. If only 1 person in the business can speak / understand English, then only one person should be doing nails. I will not go back and even though I just had these done yesterday, I will find someone to remove these and do what I ask tomorrow. I paid good money for that lesson to be learned. From now on, I won't. Avoid the shop unless you're just a glutton for punishment like I used to be. read more

I went today and while my experience wasn't unpleasant, my nails look nothing like what I asked for and my request was pretty basic. I showed a picture and it seems to have been completely disregarded. I had to ask for the white to be cut shorter because they looked ridiculous at the length they were supposed to be. I am very disappointed in them, which stinks because he did a very good job at doing my nails. He just completely butchered the design of them. read more

I have recently found this nail salon . I've had my nails done three times and 1 pedicure. I have found this salon very clean , quick to greet you and get your service started. I've had 3 different people work on me and all three did a nice job ! I will keep going back ! read more

They are the best! Wouldn't go anywhere else! They always make me feel like family! Love this place!!

Used to go here pretty regularly. Me, my sisters and my mom went recently. It was awful. People were rude, didn't do half of the stuff on the pedicure list. Wanted to argue about what kind of polish was previously on my toes. (They were trying to say it was shellac and wanted to charge more, I painted them myself it was regular polish) will never be returning. Older guy was rude to my mom and then wouldn't stop complimenting her, it's odd. read more

Really reasonable salon in Abilene - not the very best but not the worst. Have been here several times and the service is fantastic with every employee offering drinks or ways to make you comfortable. My manicure had a few nicks and imperfections and I mentioned it but they didn't offer to fix it. Not a huge deal because I came close to closing time so I new they were in a hurry. I'll update when I come back again. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. My sister and I went for my birthday to get a pedicure which we don't get to do very often. We waited and then finally my pedicure was done by a woman who was nice and did a decent job on my shellac pedicure.. my sister had an older man who did her pedicure (didn't massage her feet or legs) and redid her shellac 4 TIMES.. 4 TIMES and didn't tell her or explain to her what was going on just kept taking the polish off with the drill and putting it back on. Then we had other plans and told him to just forget the polish because we didn't have an extra 45 min to sit there while he messed up over and over again. While we checked out to pay the manager got involved and still insisted she pay for the pedicure? Which was beyond me.. horrible customer service she ended up having to pay $40 still for the horrible service she got. I will NEVER return to this place. The worst experience I've had at a nail salon.. there are many other nail salons in Abilene I would try anywhere else before this place. read more

Even my 9 year old son enjoys the fancy foot wash. 4. They are so kind and accommodating to my entire family's needs. 5. My husband was very impressed with his pedicure as well. 6. Very humble attitudes and kind hearted. 7. They have some new Essential Herb packages coming soon. I can't wait for those. All I can say if you WONT be disappointed! read more

I would give negative stars if I could. The worst business I have ever done business with. I don't usually do reviews but when the business treats people the way they treated me, people need to know. They tried to redo my toes 4x and still couldn't do it, like what is the problem? Then I ended up leaving because I had somewhere to be. Didn't expect to be there 2 hours for a pedicure that I didn't fully get. I complained to the manager, he did not care at all, still made me pay. Then I called up there to complain and they put the phone down and never returned. Do NOT go there unless you want to give a donation to nothing. read more

Forever the only place I will get my nails done. The workers are so nice. It is always a consistent job. No matter who does my nails or pedicure it always turns out perfect! I've been to this spa in the past and had favorable results. Today I went in and got my nails dipped. Most of the staff is nice and friendly but unfortunately the guy that did my nails wasn't. He refused to speak to me, not even to say good afternoon. Instead of asking me to move my hand in certain ways he would hit it to get me to move it around. I was totally uncomfortable. He was so rude that I even thought he was being racist toward me. In the end I didn't like the shape of the nails and he only spoke to me when he had to ask if I would leave a tip. Needless to say I didn't leave a tip. If I ever go back, I am going to be upfront and say that I don't want him to do my nails anymore. read more

Just moved to town. Thought I'd try this place out for a pedicure. Was thoroughly disappointed. The nail tech was glued to the tv the entire time. She paid no attention to what she was doing all throughout my time in the chair. It felt like they were put out about me being there. I will not be going back. read more

I enjoyed my visit at Sexy Nails. I got a gel manicure, gel pedicure, and the price was definitely affordable and doable for the service I received. The techs took their time, at a reasonable pace (not too slow or too fast), and was super nice as well. read more

I was in town on a business trip and wanted to get pampered and relax and came here. Sexy Nails is a pretty catchy name so we went there. Took advantage of the 10% special! and the price is comparable to California. I got an Oriental girl to do my pedicure and I enjoyed the Massage, Satisfied! My business associate got her manicure done by Jared and it looked really nice. He was a funny guy, I think he was a manager. The spa chairs are wonderful here so I left a happy camper! They made us feel welcomed , really nice people there. read more

I went in wanting Acrylic French tips and was very disappointed when I got the acrylics with white gel tips that were god awful looking. He barely let the gel dry in the first place and when my one hand came out all wrinkled up he yelled at me and said it was MY fault when it wasn't. I could see my actual nails through the acrylic and when I asked the guy to just do something different he got very aggressive with me and was yanking my hands and arms very rough. Then when he was done he tried to make me pay for his fuck up. Also not to mention he was glued to his phone the whole time. I will NEVER go there again. read more

Very friendly staff and always great service! Nails always look amazing and last a long time!

They were having a special for 20% off since they are new so I stopped by. I won't be back though. I got a fill. He was very rough and I left with a bloody cuticle on my left thumb and several other nicks that are red and sore on several other fingers. . My new mails are now covered with band-aids. I may have gotten one bad person but it doesn't matter. I won't be back. I'll stick with my regular salon. read more

Dee- my nail tech. she was very rude, rushed my nails because it was close to closing and I was forgotten. I originally wanted Acrylic Polish nails since I rarely get them done. She forced me into getting dip because it was closing time and she had forgotten about me. She painted my toenails with a polish that didn't match my dip set. She discounted $5 which wasn't the $25 I agreed to pay, it was $35 She didn't offer me a drink and was not friendly. Mind you I showed up an hour and a half before closing with myself and 3 others I was paying for and I repeatedly tried to tell them what we were wanting and they just said have a seat I'm with a client. I will never ever go back. I didn't even get my eyebrow wax like I intended. The worst service from her! She didn't clean under my nails either they were full of junk. The others were pretty friendly but not her. I'd put no stars but I had to select 1. read more

I stopped by and got my nails done once.....it was not a good experience. My nails were ok but the tech next to me was working on one of his regular customers and was saying some really obscene things to her. When he saw the look on my face he said...It's ok. We're friends... and continued with his conversation with her. Uh.....no....that's not anything I want to hear when I'm there for a mani/pedi. I won't be going back. read more
