Callahan's was referred to me by the GE regional representative because the original company that…read moresold the GE refrigerator was unable to fix the problem with condensation building up inside the refrigerator door The Callahan service person immediately knew what the problem was and ordered a new gasket to better seal the door and then returned within a week with the gasket that they had ordered. Everything was done timely and he also had a suggestion on how to handle a problem with another appliance without a service call where all that was needed was to clean a certain surface within the washing machine. I'll call them first the next time I need service or a new appliance

Frigidaire warranty hired Callahan's Appliance to service my built-in Frigidaire column…read morerefrigerator and freezer repair. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The technician only performed a brief visual inspection, said it was the water manifold system, and assured me he would order the part. When I followed up with customer service, I was told that no part had ever been ordered and there was no record of his report. Frigidaire then sent the same technician back out, and once again, he did absolutely nothing. Despite two unproductive visits and no real service performed, Callahan's still charged Frigidaire warranty $160. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If you own high-end or built-in appliances that require knowledgeable technicians, I strongly recommend requesting a different service provider!!!!

Mr. Dyer,…read more Unfortunately, instead of taking the time to write a glowing review of your appliance store, to which no doubt you have devoted a majority of your life to making it a success, I have to write a review to tell you of the bad experience I had with buying a refrigerator at your establishment. I try and support any local business before going to a national chain, but this experience has made me have second thoughts about doing so in the future. On August 1st, 2026 I bought a refrigerator from your store from a sales person and had established with him that you would be using a new connector for the waterline for the ice maker. The exact words when I asked him were "Absolutely." When the refrigerator was delivered the following Wednesday, my son was the one at the house to receive the delivery/installers. They showed up, disconnected & removed the old one, plugged the new one in and left. No new connector, no hooking up the waterline and in not doing so, left the waterline not fully turned off to cause a small leak that went unnoticed for several hours causing a minor flood in my kitchen. When I discovered why I had the problem, I fixed it by hooking up the waterline connection and going through the steps of flushing the line, and making sure the ice maker was working. Something that your store manager would tell me later that should have been done by your installers. I do want to establish that I never go into any major or minor transaction with the intent of "What can I get out of this or what money can I get back?" I contacted the store manager to let him know of the situation & his first response was "This makes me feel like firing someone.." No, I don't want anyone fired over this, just maybe a better system of checks and balances or not making claims of something that i thought was a courtesy ( the new connector ) that I would have been charged for ( which was never explained to me ) had it been provided. The store manger said he would talk to all those that were involved and would let me know what went wrong with the "breakdown of communication." 15 days later and 3 attempts at communication on my part, I finally spoke to him to have to retell the story because he didn't know what I was calling about. He finally asked what he could do to make this right. I said the very least he could refund the delivery/installation fee. "Ok, done." No "We can also do this, or is there anything else we can do?" I agreed to it to be done, but I've honestly gotten better treatment of having an order corrected at a drive-thru fast food restaurant. Mr. Dyer, I've met you in person before, on a few occasions, when I worked at the local paper and personally worked on your ads. You always emphasized your commitment to being a local business that was "a go-to place for customers." It's a shame that I will not recommend your store to anyone or be back for any future purchases.

Nice tech, but misread diagnostic code on Viking Fridge and replaced a part that didn't need…read morereplacing. Spent close $700 first trip. Now wanted to charge $518 to fix actual part that was not working. Office Manager was rude and liked to hear herself talk. On website it talks about RICH (Core Values), but Donna (OM) was one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't use them just because of her. $170 dollar part and trying to charge $518 after the first mess up is crazy.

I didn't think there was tax on labor. Then he said it is the filter which he rinsed off and said you are good to go. Call me if you have any problems. The next day I ran this dishwasher and still have the same issue. I called today to see if he came back out of there was another diagnostic fee which I was told there would be. I said he didn't do any diagnostic on my machine before. This company is a huge rip off, do not care about their customers or the customer experience. Do not waste you time money or energy with this company. Worst experience I have ever had !!! And Max I have to disagree with your assessment. I did not repair the unit myself. Your guy said it was the filter needed cleaning and he did clean that out. The piece you referenced that I ordered myself was a plastic cover piece that functioned but a little worn. You guy said you can either replace that yourself or I can order one but that involves another trip. I looked up the piece he said was worn and I said I can get it online tomorrow for $10. Your guy said that is what I would do because if I order it then it would be $75 and not sure when it would be here. He said it is not creating your problem but I would replace it. When you pay $136 for a diagnostic fee that to me usually means checking out all the systems and see why my water pressure in the unit is so low. Your guy did no assessment. When I said here is the problem your guy said oh I already know what the problem is. He never bothered to check any of the systems in the unit. I appreciate your trying to reverse blame and put this at my feet but to me it is a simple problem that your guy did not diagnose he took a guess, address that but did not diagnose the problem.

However, the customer service representative by the name of "CHERYL" made us aware that we picked the wrong rocks then immediately said that she can charge us for those rocks before suggesting for one of her team members to just simply pull the rocks we did order online. After waiting for over 30 minutes, she said that they only have four bags of rocks that we ordered online then offered a refund. There were so many other options and ahead seemed as if she did not want to sell us the rocks that we accidentally pick even if we wanted to buy them because her attitude completely stunk. There was no empathy whatsoever. Now, we CANNOT finish because we have to wait a couple of days for the refund. Unreal. She could have offered to see if another location had them. She could have offered the four bags they did have and gave the other six just for waiting. It was just a terrible experience especially after all of the money we spent there. We would suggest another location or even Lowe's. Just not this location if this is who they have that can not make basic customer service decisions. I would choose ZERO stars, but we'll be kind.
