Called this morning to see if they had the replacement bag I needed. In fact they did! Went to go pick it up this afternoon and the friendliness and service was outstanding! read more

Ok, so this is a vacuum place, but it is not your normal vacuum store. They don't sale the low end appliances that you find a Wal-mart that last a few years than die. They sale high end appliances that have a thirst for identity and reputation, yet they do cost a bit more, tho they last a LOT longer. The owner, who we dealt with directly, is great. So helpful and patient. It's a great place. We did spend almost $700 on a high end stick vacuum, but it is super powerful and works better than any $200 vacuum at Walmart. We've also brought off brand vacuums here for cleaning, they don't care what brand it is, they will clean it and work on it. It's very much worth a visit. read more

Evans Vacuum - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

I took an older Sebo in because of the roller light was staying on. I joked with Art saying it would be like going to the doctor and it would feel better. Sure enough he thoroughly examined it, tested it and it worked. We talked a lot about common interests. He was very personable. And did not charge me for the exam. Thank you Art. You are exemplary of what customer service should be about. You could give lessons to others. read more

We love Evans Vacuum. For years we used the Evans shop on Hwy 199 in Fort Worth before for repairs and supplies. We were sad to see them close that location as it was easy for us to get to. But we found them again at the new location on Camp Bowie. This place is so much more updated and alot nicer than the older one. So we decided to buy a cordless Riccar vacuum cleaner from them and I was very skeptical of it. I could not see how a light weight self propelled cordless vacuum could do the job and last. Well 3 years later it is still going and has great suction. The folks at Evans has cleaned and serviced it as promised for free. We love Riccar and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good long lasting vacuum cleaner that is easy to maintain. I can't say enough about Riccar and the awesome workers at Evans Vacuum. read more

We sent our Dyson to be serviced back in April. When my husband dropped it off they said they would call us for a quote on repairs. Several weeks later they called back and said it would cost roughly $300 for the maintenance. Mind you, our vacuum wasn't broken we sent it in just for yearly maintenance. I ask my husband what they would be repairing and he called back the next day for more clarity. Based on what they said we would need we did our own research and realized we could buy the filters needed as replace ourselves for far less. We approved them to do a general maintenance and clean of the machine. Roughly at a cost of $70. Several weeks went buy and we didn't hear from them so my husband called and asked if our machine as ready. They confirmed it was and he went to pick it up a couple of days later. When he arrived he was told that our vacuum had been RECYCLED because we never came to pick it up. Mind you we had no missed calls, emails or messages EVER from them. They offered to replace my Dyson Animal with a cheep DC30? I think it was called. We declined and called management. Management has NOT called us back even though we've spoken to several store managers. The manager at the North Richland Hills location offers to replace the machine a second time but said we'd have to pay our service fee and then drive to Camp Bowie to pick it up. I declined stating I wasn't going to pay and then go pick up a machine sight unseen. The manager gave us the model number of the replacement and we agreed that would correct the error. A week later we go (still no one called to let us know the new vacuum had made it in.) to pick up the vacuum and it's a cheep DC30 in a different color. He said he'd gotten the model number wrong but that's all he could offer us. We declined. We just want back what was ours. Or something that would replace the value of our machine. We have the ticket showing their dates of attempting to contact us and it only shows a call on the date they provided the original quote. They sell Dysons right outside their store but will not offer me a comparable replacement. The other stores have indicated there is no "recycle" department. So we assume they just sold out vacuum. We've asked for a district manager to call us and they have not. Please don't use this place. They are not reputable or honest. read more

I've visited this business twice for repairs snd cleaning on my old Kirby that I'm still using. The staff here are excellent customer service providers as well. Thanks to Evans Vacuum for my Kirby that is humming and sucking up anything on my carpet. The environment is clean and bright and your vacuum cleaner will get a new life here. I recommend Evans Vacuum for your every need in the vacuum cleaner world. read more

Just a note of thanks to Evan and his staff for their attention and solution to a problem with an ageing Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner. This wasn't a simple parts replacement but rather creative thinking and hand workmanship. Truly a custom repair. I never anticipated that. He could have, rightfully so, suggest I buy a new model, but he didn't. One thing is for sure...., when we do need a new vacuum cleaner, we will purchase it from Evans Vacuum on Camp Bowie, in Fort Worth. Thanks again Evan and company read more

I've been going here for awhile now- they come outside and grab your vacuum for you and start cleaning it and quickly figure out what the issue is and order the part and call you when the part comes in! Allot of businesses don't have that kind of personal touch anymore but this place does! Thank you! read more

Very pleased with Paul in the Arlington store. He helped select a new vacuum to replace our 24-year-old Electrolux that has several repair needs. Very pleased with our new Sebo Airbelt E. It's as powerful as the old Electrolux but much lighter and easier to maneuver. read more

Evans Vacuum - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

First time customer. Dropped off my very dirty vacuum for a DEEP cleaning. Owner was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in explaining fees and services. Much cheaper to have mine cleaned instead of buying a new Dyson. Would strongly recommend this business. read more

Went in to try to have our old shark fixed and ended up with a brand new machine. It is a Riccar and it was expensive but with the warranty and the included service it was totally worth it. Brought it home and cleaned the whole house. It is marvelous and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Very nice people, very helpful and knowledgeable! Plus John was a fellow paisino so him and the hubs hit it off! Definitely recommend these folks if you are looking for either service or a new, really good vacuum. Mine does just about everything except run itself! read more

This is my second trip to this location for servicing my vacuum. The store is a showroom of vacuum cleaners. They also carry floor cleaning supplies, belts, filters Etc. This repair was for the hose. My vacuum was ready at the promised time. The customer service at this location is absolutely fabulous! Incredibly nice people here and they were able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend for any repairs or if you're in the market to buy vacuum. read more

My wife wanted a new vacuum cleaner and after much research, I choose the Miele Complete C3 Calima which Evans Vacuum sells. Since I prefer to purchase local, I contacted them three (3) times, inquiring about availability and price. They never responded to any request. As a result, I ordered online and quickly received the Miele which was delivered to my home. Evans lost not only a $700 sale, but a customer as well. read more

To their credit, Evans has contacted me, has taken some corrective action and has been trying to set things right. +1 until my next visit, then another update! Keeping my fingers crossed.... read more

It has been 9 years since I purchased my Riccar, so I figured it was time to take it in to have the roller brush and belts checked. Mr. Evans was extremely helpful and offered to service the vacuum while I waited. He checked the motor, seals, and ran it to make sure it had good suction. He said that roller brush looked great, but the belt was a little worn. He installed a brand new belt and did not even charge me for the service or the belt! That is how you win a customer for life! read more

Evans vacuum cleaner in Arlington is as good as it gets. The customer service what all stores should strive for.........excellent. I brought my Miele in thinking that it was a motor going out. They put in on the bench for testing and in about two minutes found that the hose was clogged and fixed it on the spot-no charge. I've been dealing with Evans for about 20 years and have never been disappointed. read more

Felt very welcome as soon as I walked in the store. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend Evans to anyone in the market for a vacuum or steam cleaner. read more

We bought our Riccar Immaculate here March 2013. Yes, it is pricey, but well worth the money. Having two dogs (golden retriever and redbone/blood hound mix) and a parrot (african gray) makes for a furry and dusty house. This vacuum does an awesome job of keeping the carpets clean. I also love the stair attachment. Every time we have gone in since 2013, the owner has gone above and beyond in helping us. We just bought a dog brush attachment that is great. We also bought the carpet freshener. It's a new brand they have and we have yet to try it. I do like the fact there was a variety of scents to choose from. They are also pet conscious when it comes to cleaning products, which I appreciate. read more

Went here for the first time today they solved a problem for me in no time. I had ordered a Miele canister filter online from somewhere, but what arrived was didn't fit. I took the filter into Evans today and the nice guy (owner I think) explained I'd been sent an upright filter. He traded them out for me and sent me on my way. You can't beat customer service like that - he really went above and beyond. I'm glad we decided to take our business to this place. We'll be back. read more

My husband and I bought a Riccar "W" vacuum in 2009 or 2010 I think..while the vacuum was great the motor blew up last month and I have a new box of bags and 3 out of a open box that I can no longer use as we purchased a vacuum that I thought would last a little longer than 7-8 years. Michael at Evans Vacuum in Arlington will give me store credit (which I don't need as I bought a replacement vacuum elsewhere) but not my money back. If anyone would like these bags please let me know. bledsoekenneth@yahoo.com. read more

Evan's is awesome!! They had our Dyson up and running within 5 minutes of us taking it in! Very knowledgeable and super nice!

Love this place! These guys ALWAYS go above and beyond. Their customer service and product knowledge alone is worth paying for. Not a high pressure sale but I believe you will leave with a Riccar vacuum because they are amazing! We bought our Riccar vacuum here in 2010 and if still runs like a champ to this day! It's one the best investments we have made. Prior to buying our Riccar, we spent several hundred dollars on many household name vacuums only for them to last a couple of years. The quality you get for the money you spend is incomparable. Thanks guys...keep up the great service. We will be back!! read more

Great selection of products and service after the sale that can't be beat! We bought one of the more expensive vacuums, a Riccar, and it has lasted many years! read more

This is the best vacuum shop ever, love it!! They always give me the best product and service. I have bought 5 vacuums because i own a few local businesses and after my employees abuse them LOL Michael always has me on my way within minutes and perfectly running again!! A few months back I got new wood floors in my home and needed help, got a Riccar Immaculate and it is an amazing machine, worth every penny. Bags are a little small and pricey but are cloth and prevent dust in my house, yes really pickey. Thanks Evans for running a great business with integrity, you are awesome!!! read more

I have gone to Evans for purchases and repairs since 2002. The first time, I was in a bind for carpet cleaning, before a women's Bible study at my home, which was an old rent house with old carpet. They showed me a semi-dry method which sounded really good because of the lack of drying time required with this method. The stuff worked well. When the time came to vacuum up the cleaning product, my OLD Kenmore, canister style, vacuum cleaner would not work. It could not do the job any more. When I returned the equipment for the carpet cleaner, I told them that I wanted to purchase a used Rainbow machine. I knew Rainbow very well. I had in times past, sold them, (EXPENSIVE AS HELL BUT WORTH IT. {if you are willing to do what is necessary to operate the machine} ) The lady there led me over to a new Ricar, which was a bit less expensive, and I bought it. I could have not been more pleased Now I shop pawn shops and resale stores looking for Ricar and Rainbow machines, ( I own both and Evans keeps them performing well for me) I will go to them tomorrow for bags for my Ricar , and a small repair to my Rainbow beater bar head. YES, I WOULD WHOLE-HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND EVANS AND THEIR PEOPLE. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY NICE WITH ME, AND SAVED ME MONEY. read more

I came across Mario's review and it reminded me that I bought a vacuum from Evans on 5/12/11 and never wrote up a review. I had originally gone in there with an old "Eureka Boss" vacuum of mine that I had purchased many many years ago for under $100 which recently stopped working and started "smoking". I'm not surprised that the gentleman working there, Richard, advised that it wouldn't be worth fixing it. He claimed it would probably cost close to what I paid for the vacuum itself to replace the motor. Whether or not he was telling the truth, I don't know as I hadn't really shopped around for repairs, but it's hard to disagree with that assessment considering the vacuum when it was brand new was only like $80. I was pretty impressed by their Riccar line of vacuums. They are solid, American made and have a great warranty, though they are a bit on the pricey side. I purchased one for $269 and it has served me well so far. Is it better than the $80 Eureka Boss I had? Not sure I can say that. My Boss did the job, did it well, and lasted a very long time from what I can remember. I felt good supporting a local business and buying an American made product. So far the Riccar is still performing a year later without any problems. For the price I paid, I hope it lasts at least 10 more! read more

I took in may vacuum because it was clogged and needed to be cleaned. The service was friendly and efficient. They got my vacuum back to me in a couple of days as they indicated. The cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately there was a problem with the repair and I had to take it back. When I returned, they took care of me immediately and I had my vacuum back in an hour. Now it works better than it has in years. In spite of the problem I would definitely go back. read more

Excellent service and they carry good products. I thoroughly love my Riccar 1800 canister vacuum cleaner.

This place is amazing, The Manager Michael O'Banion is a truly amazing guy. He spends time with you. We bought a Riccar Radiance Premium vacuum and we love it. Everything about our vacuum shopping experience was wonderful. Not rushed or hurried to make a sale. Michael and Evans have earned our business for life. The Riccar is an excellent vacuum, the best. Give em a chance and you will feel the same. Remember in life you get what you pay for the Riccar may cost more off the line but they are BUILT to last! read more
