Sew Beautiful Alternations is a nice Korean lady who I have been going for about 2-3 years now. She has always done a great job at hemming my pants and is willing to walk through it with me on why she prefers it a certain way while still taking my thoughts into consideration. I prefer someone who is willing to value my thoughts and also willing to not just do what the customer wants when it may not turn out well. English isn't her first language but she's always done great at explaining the process with me. Turnaround time is usually pretty quick, but I recommend not rushing her and let her do her thing since she's the professional. Definitely come with resources that you may need for her to get the exact measurements on how you will wear your items such as bringing the correct shoes, belt to hold up the pants, etc. Again, please do not confused this location with Sewing Specialties. They're both great locations, but I definitely feel more connected with Sew Beautiful Alternations. I was very dissatisfied with my other seamstress' work when I received my dress back and had to call around and a couple places turned me down due to the tight deadline and "sorry we don't touch dresses that's been altered already" BUT Ezzat thankfully told me to come in to see her. She pointed out that the original bustle of the dress was terrible (it was basically a piece of cloth, very thick and very noticeable) and also mentioned the dress needed to properly fit my body shape and show off my figure (the dress was basically a square on me) She quickly pinned the dress to the shape of my body and replace the bustles to the proper kind and gave me her reassurance that it will be ready before I leave in 2 weeks for my destination wedding. She finished my dress early! About 5 days earlier than the original appt she set up to pick up and it looked perfect! She didn't charge me a rush fee, and her price is VERY fair. While other places would've charged an arm and leg to get it altered I felt like Ezzat's price was very valuable!
