Vince did an incredible job altering my wedding dress. It needed a lot done: letting out the waist, altering the sleeves, taking length off the bottom, adding a bustle, and adding cups to the bust area. He's efficient and quick to the point in conversation. He got everything done in less than a month and the total cost was only $350. Their advertising says they provide attentive personalized service...well, that definitely was not the case. Who ever was at the front desk was too busy to help me. I said to him that I could come back when he had to time to listen and understand my alteration needs. He then stopped working/sewing and turned to me, half irritated that was there and then seemed like he was willing to listen to me explain the alterations I needed...and very quickly we went back to work. I can see many have had a great experience here so obviously this is a rare occurrence but I need someone who has time, meaning at least 4 minutes, to understand what's needed and give a solid helpful recommendation. I had some pants I wanted tailored. I'll find another alteration shop...there was absolutely nothing fresh or attentive about this place or their customer service. read more

Needed a zipper replaced on a favorite Polartec sweater. The gentleman who did the repair did a fantastic job, good as new. Price was reasonable. I'm so glad I got that done. Now I have an old but still good ski jacket with a malfunctioning zipper and plan to take that one to him too. Recently I've been shopping for a replacement for a different jacket whose zipper keeps splitting open and have learned to look for one with a YKK zipper. While taking the pictures for this review I see that he used a YKK zipper and it is indeed way better than the old one. I'll definitely ask for one of those for the jacket I'm taking to him. read more

Before I had found Sew Fresh I had gone to a couple other places and I really didn't connect with any of the other women and designers like I did with Nora and Jade. While other designers tried to change my vision, the girls at Sew Fresh completely embraced my vision with enthusiasm. Not only did they embrace it but they couldn't of done a better job on my dress. My dress was everything I had dreamed of! They recommended me to the most amazing fabric store in Denver where I picked out all of my lace and then they custom made my dress and it fit like a glove. I got so many compliments at my wedding and it made me feel like a princess! I got my Merino wool jacket elbows repaired here. I wear it every day and the elbows were wearing thin. I brought in some scraps of material and Vince sketched out the shape of the patches he would use, described the stitch, what work would be done and gave me an estimate that was close to the actual price. They fitted the dress perfectly so I was both comfortable and secure. Both jade and vince worked very hard to make sure everything fit right and that i felt confident and beautiful in my dress. I ended up bringing my choir dress here to be hemmed. It has two layers and Vince did a wonderful job at matching those layers to my height. The studio is fresh and clean and I felt very comfortable there. The only downside for me with the cost at the end. Normally I see dress hem go for about $60, but this one ended up costing me $105. I wish I would have known about this beforehand with some possible details of pricing on their website. However, I am extremely happy with my purchase and the quality on the hem is very high. read more

I wish there was more clarity of pricing and there was an online tracking system. Everything was done on scraps of paper and phone calls. I bought my dress on consignment and thought it fit great. When I brought it to Nora, she made it fit magnificently. It truly made me feel amazing and I knew my dress choice and my choice to have it fitted by Nora was the correct decision. She did a very thorough job and the pricing was quite fair (I think she actually did more work than I was charged for as the initial quote was under-estimated). If you need anything, take it here. I took my wedding dress here after a lady in Loveland ruined it and said the rest couldn't be fixed, and he fixed it! It was the perfect dress and everything I wanted. He knew how to make stuff work. I cannot say enough good things about his work or talent. My dress had mesh netting to hold lace shoulder pieces and he made it to lay flat (which is what the lady in Loveland told me couldn't be done). He will fix everything and also make sure the integrity is solid. Do not get ripped off or take it anywhere to get ANYTHING done!! Sew Fresh is it!! I brought two hoodies into Sew Fresh Studio that i had busted the zippers on. Vince helped me figure which color and material of zipper I should use. He was very helpful. He told me he would call me when he was finished in 2 weeks, and he actually called me 10 days later to say it was all done. Both hoodies look even better than they did when they were new!
