Angela is so much more than a seamstress for wedding dress alterations. She's a full wedding stylist, a friend, and at times even a therapist. As a fourth generation seamstress, she's a true master of her craft with the most lovely personality. From the moment you walk into her home (which has 4+ rooms dedicated to wedding dresses!), you feel like part of her family. She has a level of attention to detail that only comes from years and years of experience. She'll ask you what earrings your wearing, what type of floor / ground you're walking on, how much you plan to dance, how you want to wear your hair, among other things so that she can ensure that your dress will not only look perfect, but will allow you to enjoy the type of wedding day you want. She does 200+ dresses per year and does everything herself - she's seen so many dresses and brides that there is truly nothing she can't do or that she hasn't seen. Wedding dresses are not an easy sewing job, and there are very few people who have the experience and understanding of dress construction that Angela does. My particular dress was not easy - I'm under 5 feet tall, had a sample size dress that needed a lining, and ended up losing more weight than expected. I ended up having 5 different fittings, which had the perfect balance of recommendations and also listening to what I wanted. My dress fit me so perfectly, and I felt amazing on my wedding day. Angela was absolutely amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable from the second you walk into her home. Angela was so patient with me during the entire process. I had two dress fittings and realized that I wanted to go another route with my dress, and she was completely understandable! My new dress I brought her fit me like a glove and was everything I could have imagined and more! I love how knowledgeable and invested Angela is as well. She wants to know everything about the wedding and all the details to help make your dress perfection. She also helped me with all my jewelry. Beautiful pearl earrings, gold leaf head piece and gold belt I wore on my dress. She was honest in letting me know what looked good and what didn't. I appreciated her feedback with everything! Angela even went above and beyond when she found out I wanted to wear my grandmothers necklace. However, it didn't fully go with my neckline of the dress; so she suggested sewing it into my headpiece and it was one of my favorite things at the wedding! Very special. My mother came with me to every visit and adored Anglea as well. My mom even bought her earrings and purse from Angela. Angela, I can't say enough amazing things about you. Angela is a true angel - all of my friends and family know who she is because I couldn't stop raving about her from the first day I met her. I truly don't have the words to describe how incredible she is. She is kind, talented, funny, and a joy to be around and work with. Where do I even begin with how amazing Angela is. I messaged her late one night after picking up my dress & veil from the a different alterations studio one week before my wedding day. My mother's 30 year old veil, which was hand-sewn by my late great aunt, had been burned and ripped. She immediately responded to my frantic email, and told me to send some pictures over. She then told me to come in the next day and she would see what she could do, especially with my wedding so close. Once there, Angela had me try on my dress, which she then pointed out was not altered correctly. She had multiple other brides to finish that week, so she told me she could for sure make the veil, but wasn't sure about my dress. Thursday came, and she texted me telling me she had finished my veil and I could come get it the next day. She also told me that she could alter my dress that night and have it ready for me to pick up before I headed to my rehearsal. I cried in the middle of the store I was in picking up last minute things for my wedding. I went the next day to pick up my dress with my maid of honor. Angela taught her how to bustle, and also found the perfect accessories for me when I told her I didn't have any. The best part is that she completely transformed my mother's veil. She knew my younger sister wanted to wear this veil as well, and wanted her to have options. Angela was able to make a cathedral length with the hand-sewn appliqués, a blusher veil, and a 3rd from the salvaged material that I wore during my reception. My dress fit perfectly, and I honestly still can't believe how much of a Godsend Angela was. Guests are still complimenting my dress and veils. Angela is so kind and warm-hearted, her studio is amazing, and she's so professional. My wedding wouldn't have been nearly as magical and perfect as it was without Angela's help. read more

She is such a sweet hearted person and so very talented at her work.
