Honestly, the next day I feel a bit sore, like I had an intense workout the day prior. The day after that though, I feel amazing. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and upper back. The 1st time I went, they kept asking if I was okay but I think I had such severe knots that it felt like I was tensing. It was once described to me as my muscles felt like it was "cracking" from the massage. I work a lot with very long hours. If I start to feel like my back is hurting too much, I make an appointment and I am good for a while. I would like to try and go regularly so I don't even get to the point of being in extreme pain. Their online appointment system is also really easy to use. I've never had a problem getting a time slot that worked for me, even the day of. I'm flexible with whomever does my massage but if it's an issue for you, make sure to confirm first. My only con with this place is that sometimes the person doing my massage does not speak English very well, but as long as I let them know as soon as I arrive, someone will translate my message for me. Also, the price cannot be beat. I've been to a few massage places in El Paso that were 2-3 times the price of this place and nobody has been able to get out all the knots and tension like this place can.

The reason I went here is because of the reviews. Also, I was recommended. As I walked in the Owner I believe Julie was very nice. Very kind person. She was so helpful and she asked me several times if I was OK. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. I must say the room inside it was very beautiful the lighting the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. I will be coming back here again.

As soon as you step in you get this vibe of calmness and relaxation; they have products to sell and the decoration and music makes it already a nice place. Since it was my first time there they gave me a form to fill with all my concerns and to be very specific about my goals with this session: I was looking to get rid of this pain in my back I was there for a massage but they also offer facials and waxing services. They walked me in 5 minutes later and I got the massage with Jorge we had a small talk just to confirm the service and specifics of the massage and he stepped out for me to get ready for the massage. The room was candle lit and with some very relaxing music and birds sounds. The whole massage was amazing and Jorge was so kind and extremely professional, I've never had a massage performed by a man and being a woman I felt so relaxed and enjoyed the service because he made me feel comfortable and was courteous and professional. He was asking questions making sure he was delivering the right pressure and was feeling good for me. At the end they gave me a water and I was extremely pleased. I definitely want to come back to try the other type of massages they offered.

There is also $2 off if you use cash only which is always a plus in my books! Their business is only expanding too since they just extended their suite to the next one over that used to be a Sallys. Sorry Sally lol. But Happy Feet is quite a lot more satisfying than a deal on nail polish lol. What sucks sometimes is how limited they have massage therapists so i have learned i should call ahead to make sure i set up an appointment now instead of just waltzing in expecting to get to it. Walk ins are always welcomed of course but since im always in a hurry on errands while trying to fit in a relaxation sesh, i needa make sure i get it done timely. Also since its a growing business with limited staff, sometimes my therapist is the only one who can answer the phone while massaging my feet. So annoying when that happens but about 90% of the time, it doesnt happen that way. Meh. Other than that, im quite happy to pamper my feet for 60 mins and only 32$. Just gotta be open minded to their technique of using paper towels for their face rests! Its odd but still works!
