As soon as you step in you get this vibe of calmness and relaxation; they have products to sell and the decoration and music makes it already a nice place. Since it was my first time there they gave me a form to fill with all my concerns and to be very specific about my goals with this session: I was looking to get rid of this pain in my back I was there for a massage but they also offer facials and waxing services. They walked me in 5 minutes later and I got the massage with Jorge we had a small talk just to confirm the service and specifics of the massage and he stepped out for me to get ready for the massage. The room was candle lit and with some very relaxing music and birds sounds. The whole massage was amazing and Jorge was so kind and extremely professional, I've never had a massage performed by a man and being a woman I felt so relaxed and enjoyed the service because he made me feel comfortable and was courteous and professional. He was asking questions making sure he was delivering the right pressure and was feeling good for me. At the end they gave me a water and I was extremely pleased. I definitely want to come back to try the other type of massages they offered.

I grew up in a trailer park off Dyer Street and I kind of know El Paso is not the classiest place in the world, but this is a shining jewel in a pile of dog shit AKA town called El Paso but my fears were not legitimate in this place was a great find. And this place was actually very nice on the inside & the staff was very very squared away, and they gave a great massage/s too as I went three nights in a row. And it's difficult when you're traveling a lot and flying all over the world. It's nice to find a spot like this that you can count on taking care of you short notice. Excellent deep tissue massage!…read more It was a last minute appointment i made the day before and i was kind of surprised that i was able to get the time i wanted. Not sure how long this business has been around but it seems fairly new or possibly growing since they moved to a seperate building from their Beauty Bar. Either way, I'm glad i stumbled on them through Groupon! I was a bit thrown off at first since the front desk person was also the same girl that was currently painting someone's nails within the same area. I got there early anticipating the forms to fill out and hopefully start in time for a full 60 min massage. My appointment was at 2pm and i got there by 145. The nail girl said to hold on for a bit since Theresa, the massage therapist was currently with a client and she needed to finish up with the nails. Fair enough. Guess thats their style for the front desk. 10 mins later or so, i finally got my forms to fill out. I ended up not starting until 215 which wasnt too late but i was kind of on a tight schedule that day so it set me back a bit. But what was great was that Theresa was nice enough to go just a tad over 60mins which was super cool of her! That made up for it at least. The room was comfty except for the face pillow. It was oddly more plump than most and my eyes felt like they were being dug into my skull so i had to constantly readjust. But overall, Theresa did a fabulous deep tissue! There's lots of other services they offer but didnt look through them enough. Lots of summer specials. Stop on in for a great massage! 40$ for Swedish, 50$ for deep tissue.

However, I do have an issue with the way they keep up with appointments. During my last visit no one showed up to the appointment, the owner had left town for the weekend and the other person was unavailable. The place is clean, organized, and the owner is a delight to do business with.

It all started when I met Carmen from Border Heritage Magazine at Podium Finish Cafe the day before. We hit it off, and she kindly invited me to the spa's special event with cocktails and charcuterie. I couldn't resist, so I invited a friend to join me, and off we went! As we stepped into Hand and Stone Spa, I felt a wave of tranquility wash over me. The atmosphere was so serene, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles. Carmen wasn't kidding when she said they had amazing specials for the day. Can you believe it? A massage and a facial for just $30 each! Without hesitation, I decided to treat myself to both. The experience was simply incredible. The girls working there were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and fun. They made me feel completely at ease, and I was impressed by how they prioritized cleanliness and sterilization. The spa was immaculate, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The facial I had was the standard one, but it still worked wonders for my skin. Even without extractions, my face felt refreshed and rejuvenated. And let me tell you about the massage--I upgraded it to a deep tissue, and boy, was it amazing! The therapist's skilled hands kneaded away all my tension and left me in a state of pure bliss. What's even better is that Hand and Stone Spa offers a membership for only $79.99 a month. You can choose between a massage or a facial--it's like having a treat for yourself whenever you want! They have plenty of upgrades and these cool machines they showed me. I also learned that they offer couples massages and facials, which would be such a lovely experience for a special occasion. The spa's convenient hours from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm mean that they can accommodate anyone's schedule. Whether you want to start your day with a pampering session or unwind in the evening, Hand and Stone Spa has got you covered. I left the spa feeling absolutely amazing and already looking forward to my next visit. The experience was a true treat for my senses, and I can't wait to indulge in more self-care and relaxation at Hand and Stone Spa. It's a little slice of paradise right here in El Paso, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I went here with a GROUPON…read more I bought the luxury facial groupon for $39 which has a $80 value and which is supposed to last 75 minutes (according to the groupon). On Vitality Medspa's website the 'luxury facial' with the value of $80 is described (see pictures). It's supposed to include not only a cleanse, exfoliation and a mask but also extractions, a scalp/neck/shoulder massage, and more. My issue is: what was promised was not provided. I went in for the extractions but got none. I pointed this out at the end of the treatment, after the skin therapist said that he was done. I was surprised because the therapist mentioned extractions in the beginning of the session and I was sort of waiting for that (I don't care too much about products being put on my face - that's not what I came for). But I was told that he made an assessment and extractions would just make my skin worse. I was surprised that he didn't discuss his decision with me, but okay. Something else I noticed was that I went in at the same time as another lady (who never had a facial either and was willing to try one with a groupon). We both were out an hour later. She went into the room just before me, and when I came out she was already out in the reception area. So the treatment did not last 75 minutes. Later on I remembered that I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. But those 15 minutes should not be counted as spa time, of course. After the treatment, I started looking on yelp and saw Jenelle's review. That made me realize I also did not get the scalp/neck/shoulder massage, towels around the arms, etc. This together with what I described above made me realize that the company does business this way. They offer a price for a service, but then they don't deliver. And sure it was relaxing and the guy who gave me the treatment is good at what he does. Maybe this company thinks that if I am impressed with the therapists techniques and friendliness of staff that I will come back to get the non-groupon (more expensive) treatments. But that's not what I came for. And so it was not a good experience, I feel scammed, and I won't be back.

Honestly, the next day I feel a bit sore, like I had an intense workout the day prior. The day after that though, I feel amazing. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and upper back. The 1st time I went, they kept asking if I was okay but I think I had such severe knots that it felt like I was tensing. It was once described to me as my muscles felt like it was "cracking" from the massage. I work a lot with very long hours. If I start to feel like my back is hurting too much, I make an appointment and I am good for a while. I would like to try and go regularly so I don't even get to the point of being in extreme pain. Their online appointment system is also really easy to use. I've never had a problem getting a time slot that worked for me, even the day of. I'm flexible with whomever does my massage but if it's an issue for you, make sure to confirm first. My only con with this place is that sometimes the person doing my massage does not speak English very well, but as long as I let them know as soon as I arrive, someone will translate my message for me. Also, the price cannot be beat.
