Honestly, the next day I feel a bit sore, like I had an intense workout the day prior. The day after that though, I feel amazing. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and upper back. The 1st time I went, they kept asking if I was okay but I think I had such severe knots that it felt like I was tensing. It was once described to me as my muscles felt like it was "cracking" from the massage. I work a lot with very long hours. If I start to feel like my back is hurting too much, I make an appointment and I am good for a while. I would like to try and go regularly so I don't even get to the point of being in extreme pain. Their online appointment system is also really easy to use. I've never had a problem getting a time slot that worked for me, even the day of. I'm flexible with whomever does my massage but if it's an issue for you, make sure to confirm first. My only con with this place is that sometimes the person doing my massage does not speak English very well, but as long as I let them know as soon as I arrive, someone will translate my message for me. Also, the price cannot be beat. I've been to a few massage places in El Paso that were 2-3 times the price of this place and nobody has been able to get out all the knots and tension like this place can.

The reason I went here is because of the reviews. Also, I was recommended. As I walked in the Owner I believe Julie was very nice. Very kind person. She was so helpful and she asked me several times if I was OK. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. I must say the room inside it was very beautiful the lighting the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. I will be coming back here again.

The area is…read moredifficult to get in and out of right now because of all the construction on Airway, but the visit itself was worth the trouble. The spa stays open late, which I really appreciated, and the prices are very good for the quality. My therapist was nice and followed my instructions exactly. He focused on the specific pain points in my legs after a busy weekend of events, and I did feel real relief afterward. I always try to be honest, so I do want to mention one thing. They advertised specials online and over the phone, and I was told I might receive some extras like hot stones or hot towels. I did not receive any of those, so the service ended up being a regular massage with no added features. I think the therapist may be new and just wasn't aware of the specials. Overall, the massage itself was good, the staff was polite, and the spa is clean and professional. I would return for the focused work on pain areas, but I hope the communication about specials becomes more consistent.

It's only because I'm used to a hard Asian massage by old Asian women that leave you crossed the next day. The massage here is a lot of pressing more than massaging but definitely relaxing. I had a 90 min session and enjoyed the entire experience.

It all started when I met Carmen from Border Heritage Magazine at Podium Finish Cafe the day before. We hit it off, and she kindly invited me to the spa's special event with cocktails and charcuterie. I couldn't resist, so I invited a friend to join me, and off we went! As we stepped into Hand and Stone Spa, I felt a wave of tranquility wash over me. The atmosphere was so serene, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles. Carmen wasn't kidding when she said they had amazing specials for the day. Can you believe it? A massage and a facial for just $30 each! Without hesitation, I decided to treat myself to both. The experience was simply incredible. The girls working there were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and fun. They made me feel completely at ease, and I was impressed by how they prioritized cleanliness and sterilization. The spa was immaculate, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The facial I had was the standard one, but it still worked wonders for my skin. Even without extractions, my face felt refreshed and rejuvenated. And let me tell you about the massage--I upgraded it to a deep tissue, and boy, was it amazing! The therapist's skilled hands kneaded away all my tension and left me in a state of pure bliss. What's even better is that Hand and Stone Spa offers a membership for only $79.99 a month. You can choose between a massage or a facial--it's like having a treat for yourself whenever you want! They have plenty of upgrades and these cool machines they showed me. I also learned that they offer couples massages and facials, which would be such a lovely experience for a special occasion. The spa's convenient hours from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm mean that they can accommodate anyone's schedule. Whether you want to start your day with a pampering session or unwind in the evening, Hand and Stone Spa has got you covered. I left the spa feeling absolutely amazing and already looking forward to my next visit. The experience was a true treat for my senses, and I can't wait to indulge in more self-care and relaxation at Hand and Stone Spa. As soon as you step in you get this vibe of calmness and relaxation; they have products to sell and the decoration and music makes it already a nice place. Since it was my first time there they gave me a form to fill with all my concerns and to be very specific about my goals with this session: I was looking to get rid of this pain in my back I was there for a massage but they also offer facials and waxing services. They walked me in 5 minutes later and I got the massage with Jorge we had a small talk just to confirm the service and specifics of the massage and he stepped out for me to get ready for the massage. The room was candle lit and with some very relaxing music and birds sounds. The whole massage was amazing and Jorge was so kind and extremely professional, I've never had a massage performed by a man and being a woman I felt so relaxed and enjoyed the service because he made me feel comfortable and was courteous and professional. He was asking questions making sure he was delivering the right pressure and was feeling good for me. At the end they gave me a water and I was extremely pleased. I definitely want to come back to try the other type of massages they offered.

They had a repair man work on something. And when my husband and I went to our room for our couple's massage, it was pretty damn cold. Either the A/C needed to be fixed too or they just wanted to blast that on a hot day like it was. Whatever the case, it was already uncomfortable. The girl i had, Letty, she was able to work out about 99% of my knots in my shoulders and neck. I was pretty messed up after the week so i knew she had a lot to work out which she did a great job at. My problem though was how they interpret the whole body massage part. I know i stressed out that my main focus was the neck/shoulders area, apparently that meant about 30 mins of the 60 mins only on that area. And the rest of the body was barely tapped. Especially my feet. She probably went over that area 2 times only and that was it. Nothing in between the toes or much pressure even. It was odd. That goes the same for other parts too like my head and hands. I was pretty let down. And my husband said the girl (Castillo was the last name) did basically the same routine as mine, 30 mins or more just in the neck shoulders back, and barely touched his feet and head. He said he didnt even specify any main focus areas. He still thought she did good tho for his tensed muscles at least but just as disappointed as i was for the feet and what not. Well, we only did it since there was a good groupon i scored on so it was worth it enough. But i think i prefer how super relaxed thru and thru i was at Bienstar.
