I love this place. If you're looking for a relaxing massage where all they do is rub your back…read moreuntil you fall asleep, this is not it. Honestly, the next day I feel a bit sore, like I had an intense workout the day prior. The day after that though, I feel amazing. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and upper back. The 1st time I went, they kept asking if I was okay but I think I had such severe knots that it felt like I was tensing. It was once described to me as my muscles felt like it was "cracking" from the massage. I work a lot with very long hours. If I start to feel like my back is hurting too much, I make an appointment and I am good for a while. I would like to try and go regularly so I don't even get to the point of being in extreme pain. Their online appointment system is also really easy to use. I've never had a problem getting a time slot that worked for me, even the day of. I'm flexible with whomever does my massage but if it's an issue for you, make sure to confirm first. My only con with this place is that sometimes the person doing my massage does not speak English very well, but as long as I let them know as soon as I arrive, someone will translate my message for me. Also, the price cannot be beat. I've been to a few massage places in El Paso that were 2-3 times the price of this place and nobody has been able to get out all the knots and tension like this place can.

The reason I went here is because of the reviews. Also, I was recommended. As I walked in the Owner I believe Julie was very nice. Very kind person. I explained to them that I had a health condition and that I needed a certain type of massage. They were very helpful. They were very kind. The person I got was so soft and gentle. She was so helpful and she asked me several times if I was OK. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. I must say the room inside it was very beautiful the lighting the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. I will be coming back here again.

I will admit that this place did the job and met most of our expectations for our massaging needs…read more What I didnt like was how the place seemed like it was still in the works. They had a repair man work on something. And when my husband and I went to our room for our couple's massage, it was pretty damn cold. Either the A/C needed to be fixed too or they just wanted to blast that on a hot day like it was. Whatever the case, it was already uncomfortable. The girl i had, Letty, she was able to work out about 99% of my knots in my shoulders and neck. I was pretty messed up after the week so i knew she had a lot to work out which she did a great job at. My problem though was how they interpret the whole body massage part. I know i stressed out that my main focus was the neck/shoulders area, apparently that meant about 30 mins of the 60 mins only on that area. And the rest of the body was barely tapped. Especially my feet. She probably went over that area 2 times only and that was it. Nothing in between the toes or much pressure even. It was odd. That goes the same for other parts too like my head and hands. I was pretty let down. And my husband said the girl (Castillo was the last name) did basically the same routine as mine, 30 mins or more just in the neck shoulders back, and barely touched his feet and head. He said he didnt even specify any main focus areas. He still thought she did good tho for his tensed muscles at least but just as disappointed as i was for the feet and what not. Well, we only did it since there was a good groupon i scored on so it was worth it enough. But i think i prefer how super relaxed thru and thru i was at Bienstar.

There were 2 people…read morejust sitting at the desk but no one gave a courtesy call or anything about the appointment being cancelled, and they didn't offer to reschedule and acted like I was inconveniencing them by being there. Also, the last massage I had there, the therapist had sewer breath, and it completely ruined any possible chance of relaxing because I couldn't breathe in that small room while the therapist was hovering over me with bad breath. Therapists should definitely freshen up their mouth before working over someone like that!! It was awful.

After many hours of reading comments of all the different massage places in the El Paso West side, I decided to try Alejandro at Apeiron Therapeutic Massage. My husband was very pleased with Alejandro's customer service. He worked very hard on his back. All the "knots" on his back are gone, and he feels so much better. The prices are very reasonable and it has definitively been worth it. He will be going back next month.

You don't even need to read this review. Just go make an appointment with Maria…read more I have a bar that is set pretty high, and Maria hit it without even trying. She is a unicorn in a world full of people who can give you a "massage". She is a true massage therapist with the skill and resume to back it up. A Swedish relaxation massage has its place but that is not was I was looking for, I need the good pain, coach! I needed someone who could get in deep and release months of knots made of knots. I was immediately impressed by her presence and service and was instantly put at ease when she asked if I would prefer to spend the whole hour on my trouble areas. Happy sigh. Yes. That is exactly what I want. Throughout the session I was impressed by her skills and knowledge. I would dare to say it was one of the best massages I have ever had, and I have had A LOT. I look forward to my next trip into town, just so I can schedule a session!! Why are you still reading?? Go book an appointment!!
