If you like light roast coffee, Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters will satisfy your taste. Nice ambiance. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

(APRIL 2024) We each enjoyed our coffees and the gluten free cupcakes. It was nice to be able to have a cup of coffee while we waited on our table a few doors down for brunch.

We got four perfect coffees! Iced Latte, Matcha Latte, Cold Brew and a pour over. Seven Virtues whole bean and mercy to go.

I popped into Seven Virtues on my recent Portland trip to get out of the hotel room for awhile and get some work done. This cute little shop is light and bright, with big windows and cheerful Tiffany blue walls. The staff was friendly and nobody seemed to mind that I nursed my hot chocolate with oat milk and bagel into a long stay sitting and working at one of their booths. The wifi was a little slow for my needs, but this isn't uncommon in coffee shops. I definitely enjoyed the vibe and would love to try some of their other food items on my next visit!

I ordered a Mocha (since they didn't have hot chocolate) and asked for an additional chocolate shot. Very taste- more bitter than sweet- so healthy chocolate. I also got a ham, egg, and cheese bagel which was very delicious. The atmosphere is chill. The seating look awesome. Lots of space. Family friendly (I have a 4 year old, ordered a bagel) Dog friendly Water station Restrooms in the back towards the employee only door In (warm and cozy) & outdoor seating

Alex is awesome, seasoned coffee pro, kind soul, funny, witty, always down to chat about life and the complexities of the world. Pros: great customer service and breakfast bagel options Cons: subpar kombucha selection A+, 10/10, 5 stars, would definitely come back again!

Amazing tasty coffee. I love the coziness of the spot and the quality of the coffee. I really enjoy their minimal selection of bagels but it includes everything for a good breakfast sandwich.

I have been here many times before. Ordered two catch bagels to go. Got home and there was the smallest about of lox I have ever seen in a bagel. Also no tomato on one half. I called back they were out of the garlic bagels to remake them. Asked for a refund the lead said they couldn't do that. Driving back out there to get the remake. Terrible.

Cool coffee shop at the Zipper. Vibes are good. As soon as I entered the shop, the guy working said, "what's up," and I felt comfortable. While the barista looked cool af, he was also very chill, which is always a plus in a coffee shop. I had an iced latte with some hazelnut. It was delightful. I also tried a banana nut muffin. While I wasn't a fan of the gluten free texture, the taste was good. I will be back.

Just stopped by for a coffee while I waited for a client meeting. Decaf Americano from East Timor. Which is delicious. Lots of seating (for a small coffee bar) on an oddly shaped lot. The staff was friendly and assured me the coffee was decaf (my heart thanks them). Quick service and they have a locals that speak the coffee language coming in quite regularly. Nice place to chill and get some work done.

I had noticed this place after eating at Basilisk and was slightly bummed to find out that it was closed for the day. Two days later, my husband and I were in the area and we wanted to check it out. When you walk in, you'll immediately notice all the natural light coming from the many windows. You'll also be greeted with a friendly smile from the barista who happened to be making several drinks while making it look super easy. Soo...you know you're in the right place. There is a food and drink menu, nothing crazy extensive but that's perfect for an indecisive person (yours truly!). I opted for an iced lavender latte with oat milk. I confessed to the barista that I was worried about the drink being too sweet as that has happened one too many times at other establishments. The barista reassured me that she'll keep it light on the sugar but that the drink will still be well balanced. A few minutes later....I was in lavender oat milk latte heaven! This icy concoction was exactly what I needed to take on Portland's unusually hot weekend (it was around 91 degrees when we were there but I digress!) The only sad part about my visit to Seven Virtues is that there isn't a location in San Diego but one can only dream for the time being. Until next time! :)

    A "16 oz" iced latte

Great coffee, but all ice! I paid $7.25 for a 16oz iced vanilla latte that had maybe a couple sips or so in it.

20 minutes for bagel and drip. Granted they were good, but the place only had six customers while I was waiting. :(

Sometimes they drop a DJ event. They were able to bring famous DJ François K for an evening of local DJs from 5PM to 9, then François K to 2. François K began his DJ journey in 1976 in NYC. Essentially it was a house party for well under 100 people with an international DJ at a very reasonable ticket price. Only in Portland. Only at Sonder. The door was polite and the crowd was polite. There were no unwelcome club advances. There was no overselling nonsense and readmission lines. There is an area outside to cool off and converse when the dance floor is steamy. Water in cups that are washed and reused, not landfilled. I had a nice conversation with the owner and have some suggestions for future bookings. It was fun to see a little Melbourne Shuffle break out! One of our previous CMs did some DJing and would have loved this event and the venue. It is also an update of the fern bar, with healthy plants doing well with the South facing window. There is some outdoor seating screened by a wood structure from the parking lot.
