Visited to get some sage to smudge our house for positive energy. I get all my stones for jewelry making from other suppliers, so I am reviewing only the herbal offerings here. They actually had a huge selection, or at least huge to me, as a newbie, who did not anticipate so many options of bundles, each with a different mix of herbs, for various different energy purposes. The woman who assisted me was helpful and informative. She genuinely wanted to help raise the energy in my home. Sold me a wafting feather, as well, and they also had other components needed for a typical smudging, if you don't have them at home. I believe my total for the 2 smudging bundles and a feather, was just over $20. One bundle more than covered smudging our whole house, over 3000sf, incl basement, just to give an idea, and since it was our first time, we kind of went nuts with getting smoke everywhere. * * * TIP * * * Our house smelled like schwag weed after smudging, so beware that you don't do it before having people over or something, unless they enjoy that. And yes, we did it with windows open... 7 hours later it still smells, though much less, and the scent has changed to a pipe-tobacco smell! read more

Other reviewers are correct that this is the only store of its kind in the area. But I'd rather keep on traveling. Stone collection, wouldn't even label it a collection. Rephrase; stone section - the quality of the rocks were low but they kept the high price tag on them. Along with their jewelry ... their stuff is so over priced, I can't believe they can keep a straight face when telling you the numbers. 700$ for a gemstone necklace, non gold adornments, and strung on (what I hope is silk) get the F outta here... Leather goods and satchels, the area smelled like urine. Clothes, to be honest I did not venture in the clothing section because of the slight urine stench by the purses. I don't mess around with my garments. Musical items for metaphysical. The Noah bells, very cute. Along with their singing bowls. If you want jewelry of this type, my strong and recommended suggestion is to travel to New Hope. Prices are more appropriate for what u are buying. If you're looking for crystals and rocks. LOVE THIS PLACE. what a Mecca of good vibes. cannot say enough good things. Purchased my first ceremonial drum here and have been loving the sound and vibration. You could spend hours here and not see or experience all it has to offer. By far one of my favorite places near philly.. cannot wait to return (without my babies) to really dig around and get lost in all the amazing treasures this store holds. Hands down one of my favorite places to shop. The energy in my body changes when I walk in the door. The aroma from all of the incenses, soaps, candles, etc is earthy and calming. My cousin Marci comes up from the Shore to shop here for her epic rock, stone, and crystal collection. The great ladies that work here are full of knowledge of the different powers that each item may channel or hinder. Fascinating. Tarot cards, beautiful Native American art and jewelry, Buddhist teachings and prayer scarves, leather-goods. Yikes - I can't breathe. The overwhelming fog of patchouli hit me like a wall the moment I walked in. I tried to get past it - that and the chanting music in the background. (I thought they were singing "Trim the edges, Trim the edges" until I realized it was Sanskrit or something). If you're looking for a spiritual shop with more of a Native American flavor, shop at Seven Stones. I'd been wanting to come here for a long time, I finally did, & I was not disappointed. (If you're coming from Center City Philly by train, it is not a long walk to State St. from the Media train station). Yes, there is the usual Buddha statues, singing bowls, sage, sweet grass, incense, crystals, etc. But you will also find beaded jewelry, moccasins, dream catchers, medicine pouches, videos, books, & cards, created by or pertaining to Native Americans. I bought a CD by R. Carlos Nakai (Ute-Navajo) of his flute playing. Just what I was looking for! The two ladies working there were also very friendly. I will definitely be back. Seven Stones is a rare jewel. Besides being a wonderful shop with a great variety of tools for those on the spirit path, they also have a downstairs area which hosts yoga, meditation and drum circles. I haven't found anything else like it in the area. (The closest would probably be Garland of Letters in Phila.) It's a family-owned business with a lot of heart.
