After spending some time looking at it they diagnosed it as a bad compressor or clutch on the compressor. When they went into do the repair work they discovered that the belt wasn't tight enough. They tightened it up and saved me hundreds of dollars in parts I didn't need. They have always been honest with me and given me warnings about pending problems when they have noticed them.

This created another issue, which they stated they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me. He was baffled they did this and now it's creating more hassle than the original issue. To make matters worse, when I called Morano Brothers to get more information about what they cut, Bob was extremely rude, stating that he had already explained the issue to me several times. Sorry, I'm not a mechanic. And when the Toyota guy is saying what you did made no sense, I'm probably going to have a hard time comprehending it as well. Long story short - AVOID these guys. They cut wires without asking you, try to screw you by charging you more for issues they created, and are extremely rude when you ask for reasonable explanations.
