This message is long overdue. I've been seeing Rachel for the last three years primarily for fertility reasons, but also just because once I started going to acupuncture, I didn't want to stop. I felt so good after every session. Rachel is a warm and attentive listener, who asks the right questions and provides an intuitive level of treatment. I referred a friend to see Rachel and the friend had had a panic attack during acupuncture at a different place and was terrified. Rachel stayed in the room with her during her treatment and literally held her hand so that she could feel calm and safe knowing she had someone there if panic should ensue. Rachel did house calls and endured 30-45 minutes of non-stop chihuahua barking to assist in my quest to get pregnant. I've seen Rachel years, primarily for sports related injuries in my knee and back. More recently, I went to her while pregnant because I was full term and wanted to avoid being induced. Trust is always so important with acupuncture, but I can't stress how *supremely* important it was during my pregnancy and during Covid - and Rachel was amazing. My 3 treatments with her over a week and a half helped me gradually progress towards labor without needing an induction. And she made me feel really safe: she wore two masks, kept a window open, thoroughly cleaned everything before and after my session, and gets tested regularly herself. Since I had my baby, she has also been treating me for carpal tunnel with much success. I would highly recommend her. read more

Rachel is AMAZING, kind, knowledgeable and a good listener. I had severe neck and shoulder pain. She was recommended by my neighbor and I was able to see her the same day. Making an appointment (online via her website) was easy and fast. I was able to fill out all paperwork in advance and even check that my insurance would cover the treatment (it did!). She is clearly well-versed in Chinese medicine. She was able to address my pain issues holistically and realistically using acupuncture and another technique called gua sha. This practitioner is brilliant. I came in with severe anterior hip pain from a sports injury and from dancing spastically at a wedding. The pain was so intense that I'd developed a pronounced limp. Ibuprofen wasn't touching the pain any longer and of course I had to stop exercising all together. Rachel was recommended by a particularly serene and healthy neighbor who noticed my limp so I thought I'd give acupuncture a try before seeing an orthopedist. I am so glad I did. Rachel was so thorough with the intake; I really felt like Rachel was trying to gather all of the backstory of the condition and its symptoms. It should be noted that Rachel also has a lovely, caring disposition. But really the most salient point of this review is to somehow convey just how keen and, dare I say, creative I sensed this practitioner's choices were with regard to insertion points. Even when Rachel inserted a needle into a typically vulnerable spot on my body, I felt absolutely no pain at the site of insertion. Rather, I felt an utter calm and peace come over me as I could feel energy moving more fluidly though my hip. I have been to six acupuncturists over the course of time and while many of them were talented, Rachel is obviously a genius in this therapeutic modality. When my session was up, I walked out of the office with no limp and only a modicum of the pain I'd come in with. I hadn't realized just how bad the pain had been until I experienced its relief. My neighbor had informed me that Rachel is also a pro at treating certain mental disorders like anxiety and depression. Rachel is the one I most highly recommend and continue to see whenever I need treatment because of the efficacy of her treatments. Simply put, I know that she will help me. I will start off by saying that I am extremely picky when it comes to doctors.... Rachel is AMAZING! She was helpful from the first conversation I had with her (even before being seen in her office).
