From the first moment walking into the restaurant to the moment we left the service and attendance to detail was spectacular. Note that this space is very small, there were 5 tables and that made for a super intimate dining experience. The service was impeccable all throughout dinner. The sommelier and server took turns explaining the dishes. The wine pairings were perfect and we both appreciated the detailed explanations of the selections, as well as the bit of humor she brought. Most the wines were local to the region or had a close nexus. We were impressed by the depth of knowledge both the som and server had about the dishes. We are incredibly grateful for them being accommodating to our little guest that had to tag along. We felt right at home in a very high end restaurant, which is a unique experience all together. While the price point is high, it is similar to other Michelin star restaurants and in fact the addition of a wine pairing was very reasonable in comparison. You can add another course (making it 7) for an extra $10. If you choose not to, there are enough extras along the way you won't be hungry when you leave! Thank you, Gabelspeil - we will return and have already told our friends who will be traveling to Germany!

They listened and served a fabulous meal for our table and served a wonderful meal for the vegetarians amongst our group of six. Great flavors and plenty of courses from start to finish. I just wish we had more bread to soak up the sauces which were exquisite. Great wine list and a broad selection of wines from Germany, Austria and France amongst others. Except for one course I loved the rest. Happily come here again anytime. It's cosy, friendly and welcoming. Well deserved Michelin Star and could earn a second with some refining. Having eaten in most of the starred restaurants in Munich this was indeed special :-)

The presentation of food is good, however bottom line looks better than it tastes. All the warm food came out cold. When I asked to have main re heated they threw the food into a pan with lots of oil so the entire plate including vegetables and gratin was oil, also half the plate returned, most of meat didn't come back to me. They serve the cheapest and disgusting sparking water and charge high price for it. Coffee was also terrible. The wine was undrinkable and I thought their butter was off. The staff do not care. 3 course meal for 4 was 404,00 euros. For this price class, we expected top service and not a junior Waiter who delivered the wrong plates to us, didn't know how to to work a card machine, slow service where starters came after an hour while you sat there for 30 mins without ordering and stone cold food. We would never return.
