Run by the previous head chef of "kleinschmecker" , I had big expectations from the food. The decor is very tastefully done. Loads of wood , with recycled wood put to a functional and effective use. The tables and chairs were retained from the previous "last supper".
We chose an array of starters. The Tataki beef, with daikon radish, edmame beans with wasabi and teriyaki was an excellent opening to the evening. The baked goat cheese was tasty but not extraordinary. The Ceasars salad was a tad too salty! For the mains we had tagliatelle in truffle sauce, was packed with flavor . The Char (saibling) although fresh was under seasoned. The accompanying mash was pretty tasteless as well. After having given a feedback we were offered a bit more of the green Salsa to add a bit more of flavor but it unfortunately did not compensate for the under seasoned fish. The Riesling was delicious. The staff in waiting were very attentive , a big thumbs up for that. All in all a nice evening because of the ambience but slightly overpriced for the combination and execution of individual dishes. read more
