After being blown off by my dentist office in Springboro after years of going there, I decided to try my daughter dentist Dr. Nimisha Somaiy at Seva Dental. No hesitation in working me in due to tooth pain. The staff is genuinely friendly and inviting. They showed no frustration, never made me feel like they were doing me a favor. They checked in to be sure I was comfortable. Dr. Somaiy is thorough, she too is genuinely interested in what you have going on, making sure I understood to call and check in on my progress. Tried to say I needed 7 crowns. Showed the X-Rays to a friend that's a dentist in New York and said maybe 3-4 crowns. Told him how much they wanted and he said it wouldn't even be that much in New York. Was going to do a deep cleaning and paid half up front and agreed I'd pay the remaining when the appointment happened. Started getting calls that I needed to make another payment or they'd cancel the appointment. Told them to give me the money back and I'd find another place. I was miss-treated by another high profile area dentist that was only looking out for his greater good. I went to Seva dental and Dr. Somaiya was very personable and attentive to my dental needs and helped me get back in good dental health which is where I thought I was with the other dentist. The staff is very pleasant and like Dr. Somaiya was very in touch with my needs and concerns. I strongly suggest this office to anyone who is looking for quality care and not being treated like cattle like these corporate large scale dentists offices treat people and being all about the high dollar treatment plan they can get you to sign up for. read more

My story is a long one but worth the read of my review. I was seeing a "high profile" Centerville area dentist spent over $20,000 in cosmetic dental work to fix my teeth and get the smile I wanted. All was good for a few years and then I was diagnosed with throat cancer and in meantime the original dentist "retired" SO I found Seva dental and had to have dental OK for radiation and that is when the problems began from the prior dentists quackery. Dr. Somaiya and staff quickly pointed out 2 root canal's that needed done as the crowns were put over teeth that needed further attention before the crowns should have been put on. SO had to be referred to a oral surgeon that had to drill through the back side of the crown risking shattering the crown. The Oral surgeon was successful and did not damage the crown. Fast forward to after chemo & radiation the radiation caused some of my teeth to weaken causing the crowns to fall off exposing the "nubs" of teeth that were ground down much to far originally. SO Dr. Somaiya and crew were perplexed on what to do to help me as drilling any of the teeth could be a mistake due to radiation damage to the tooth & bone and possibility of not ever healing and I would have a permanent hole in my gum that could lead to a whole other plethora of problems. After closer inspection , X rays , outside specialist opinion the good news I am getting to is they came up with a plan to make partials called Valplast. Folks this product is amazing ! I now have my million dollar smile back and eating is much more comfortable. I am in much much more competent hands and not a Doctor that is interested in getting people in & out like cattle and charging absorbent fees to support his outside interest in exotic foreign cars and his racing hobby. Dr. Somaiya is a very hands on doctor , listens to her patients needs and also very empathetic to patients needs & her staff that she has hand picked is equally as qualified. read more

I love everyone at Seva. I was nervous, as I had not been to a dentist in about 7 years. They were very thorough, and explained everything that needed done. Dr. Somaiya wasn't judgmental, and didn't make me feel bad for getting myself in my situation. She laid out the best course of action to get my teeth back to healthy status, and although I am still mid-treatment process, everything is going well so far. Anna at the front desk is awesome. I would not send my dog to this dentist. They will tell you that you need work done that you don't. They will drill into your teeth without looking and cause you pain. Seriously this is the worst dentist I can imagine, you're better not going. read more

I'm going to start my review with NO MATTER HOW EDUCATED AND TALENTED YOU ARE, HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE ULTIMATELY TELLS ALL! The office staff and hygienists seemed nice enough, but I am very frustrated, insulted, and disturbed by the services received from Seva Dental. My husband has extreme dental anxiety and this dentist only made it worse for him. He's had multiple appointments with her (this was a multiple step procedure) and every time he's felt she was condescending, patronizing, extremely rude, judgmental, and wouldn't listen to him. His concerns were invariably disregarded. At this last and final appointment (as he'll be cancelling all future appointments) she took the time to shame and scold him for his "behavior" on visits while under the influence of the conscious sedation medication she'd deemed to be preferable to IV sedation (with which my husband has never had a problem before through several previous surgeries and dental procedures). My husband is kind, educated and respectful- the only thing we can figure is he can be a little sarcastic and has a dry sense of humor which may have been taken wrong? So he nodded his head and took her insults on the chin. But then she started in on me. He thought now she's going after my wife?! She stated I was rushing the office staff to get to family pictures?!? Which was not me at all, so maybe she has confused us with another family? She then complained I was late to pick him up at the next appointment. WHICH IS COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE of what happened. He had a two step appointment. The first appointment I stayed nearby with my toddler and infant, it took several hours and I was actually driving around hoping my baby would fall asleep when they called and said he was ready and to come pick up my husband. They make you drive into a back alley (which is weird) and tell you to wait by the back door? So I immediately went there and parked, waiting outside the back door as instructed. I was there for 45 minutes in the dead of winter with my baby screaming her head off, I did call during the 45 minutes and they said he'd be right out- not the case. SO for the next appointment I opted to take my girls home after dropping him off (because of this previous experience), they called and said he was ready a couple hours later and I immediately packed my girls up and drove straight there (about a 15 minute drive.) So to hear that I'm now being reprimanded and chastised for simply behaving like a normal caring wife and mother was shocking. I was SHAKING with anger when he called to tell me about this experience because he's had multiple dental procedures with other dentists through the years with zero problems (aside from his anxiety of course). WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PRACTICE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE TO THEIR SERVICES, COMPLETE OPPOSITE- RUN!!! read more

Seva Dental is a fantastic group of caring individuals. My first visit was an emergency of my own making through years of neglect, I feared the dentist chair. Now with the help and care they have given me, I have been able to overcome my fear and have a life with out tooth pain. My advice would be give them a chance to keep your smile healthy. This dentist office is very professional and kind. I loved our visit. We had been looking for a new dentist because our previous one was garbage but I think we will be sticking with Seva dental. They gave it to us strait and ended up saving us a lot of money because our previous dentist had misdiagnosed what we needed. read more
